ଏଣୁ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ, ମାରେ ପ୍ରଭୁ ଏହି କଥା କହନ୍ତି, 'ୟିରୁଶାଲମ, ଏକ ରକ୍ତାକ୍ତ ନଗରୀ। ସହେି ହଣ୍ଡା, ଯାହା ମଧିଅରେ କଳଙ୍କ ରହିଛି ଓ ଯାହାର କଳଙ୍କ ତା' ମଧ୍ଯରୁ ଦୂର ହାଇେ ନାହିଁ। ପାତ୍ର ମଧ୍ଯରୁ ପ୍ରେତ୍ୟକକ ମାଂସ ଖଣ୍ଡ ବାହାର କର। କ'ଣ ଖାଇବାକୁ ହବେ ଓ କ'ଣ ଖାଇବାକୁ ନ ହବେ ସେଥିପାଇଁ ଗୁଳାବାଣ୍ଟ କର ନାହିଁ, ଏହାକୁ ସମ୍ପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ ଭାବରେ ଶୂନ୍ଯ କରିଦିଅ।

ଏଣୁ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ, ମାରେ ପ୍ରଭୁ ଏହି କଥା କହନ୍ତି, 'ୟିରୁଶାଲମ, ଏକ ରକ୍ତାକ୍ତ ନଗରୀ। ସହେି ହଣ୍ଡା, ଯାହା ମଧିଅରେ କଳଙ୍କ ରହିଛି ଓ ଯାହାର କଳଙ୍କ ତା' ମଧ୍ଯରୁ ଦୂର ହାଇେ ନାହିଁ। ପାତ୍ର ମଧ୍ଯରୁ ପ୍ରେତ୍ୟକକ ମାଂସ ଖଣ୍ଡ ବାହାର କର। କ'ଣ ଖାଇବାକୁ ହବେ ଓ କ'ଣ ଖାଇବାକୁ ନ ହବେ ସେଥିପାଇଁ ଗୁଳାବାଣ୍ଟ କର ନାହିଁ, ଏହାକୁ ସମ୍ପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ ଭାବରେ ଶୂନ୍ଯ କରିଦିଅ।
