Isaiah 28
1 ଶମରିଯାକୁ ଚାହଁ ! ଇଫ୍ରଯିମର ମତ୍ତ ଲୋକମାନେ ନିଜ ନଗରୀ ପାଇଁ ଗର୍ବିତ। କାରଣ ପର୍ବତ ଉପ ରେ ଅବସ୍ଥିତ ଓ ଫଳଶାଳୀ ଉପତ୍ୟକା ବେଷ୍ଟିତ ସହେି ନଗରୀକୁ ଶମରିଯାମାନେ ରମଣୀଯ ପୁଷ୍କର ମୁକୁଟ' ସଦୃଶ, ମାତ୍ର ସହେି ଭୂଷଣ ସ୍ବରୂପ ସୁନ୍ଦର ପୁଷ୍ପ ମ୍ଲାନ ହବେ।
2 ଦେଖ, ମାରେ ପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କର ଜଣେ ବଳବାନ୍ ଓ ସାହସୀ ଲୋକ ଅଛି। ସେ ଶିଳାୟୁକ୍ତ ଝଡ଼ ଓ ପ୍ରଳଯକାଳର ବର୍ଷା ବତାସ ପରି ଆସିବ, ଦ୍ରୁତ ଧାବିତ ବନ୍ଯାଜଳ ସଦୃଶ ପ୍ରବାହିତ ହାଇେ ଶକ୍ତିଶାଳୀ ହସ୍ତ ରେ ତାକୁ ଭୂମିରେ ନିକ୍ଷପେ କରିବ।
3 ଇଫ୍ରଯିମର ମତ୍ତ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କ ଦର୍ପସ୍ବରୂପ ମୁକୁଟ' ପଦ ତଳେ ଦଳିତ ହବେ।
4 ପର୍ବତ ଉପରିସ୍ଥ ଫଳଶାଳୀ ଉପତ୍ୟକା ବେଷ୍ଟିତ ମୁକୁଟ ସଦୃଶ ସୁନ୍ଦର ଦେଶ ମ୍ଲାନ ପୁଷ୍ପ ପାଲଟିବ।' ସହେି ନଗର ଗ୍ରୀଷ୍ମକାଳର ପ୍ରଥମ ପକ୍ବ ଡ଼ିମିରି ଫଳ ସଦୃଶ ହବେ। ଯେକହେି ତାକୁ ଦେଖିବ ଶୀଘ୍ର ତାକୁ ତୋଳିବ ଓ ଗ୍ରାସ କରିବ।
5 ସଦେିନ ସର୍ବଶକ୍ତିମାନ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଅବଶିଷ୍ଟାଂଶ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କ ପାଇଁ ବହୁତ ସୁନ୍ଦର ମୁକୁଟ' ସଦୃଶ ହବେେ।
6 ତା'ପ ରେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ବିଚାର ନିମନ୍ତେ ବିଚାରକଙ୍କୁ ବିଚାର ଜନିତ ଆତ୍ମା ଓ ଯେଉଁମାନେ ନଗରଦ୍ବାର ରେ ୟୁଦ୍ଧ ରେ ଫରୋଇ ଦିଅନ୍ତି ସମାନଙ୍କେ ପାଇଁ ବଳସ୍ବରୂପ ହବେେ।
7 ମାତ୍ର ବର୍ତ୍ତମାନ ସହେି ପ୍ରାଚୀନ ବ୍ଯକ୍ତିଗଣ ଦ୍ରାକ୍ଷାରସ ରେ ଭ୍ରାନ୍ତ ହାଇେଛନ୍ତି ଓ ସୁରାପାନ ରେ ବିପଥଗାମୀ ହାଇେଛନ୍ତି। ଯାଜକ ଓ ଭବିଷ୍ଯଦ୍ବକ୍ତା ସୁରାପାନ ଦ୍ବାରା ବିଭ୍ରାନ୍ତ ହାଇେଛନ୍ତି। ଦ୍ରାକ୍ଷାରସ ସମାନଙ୍କେୁ ଗ୍ରାସ କରିଅଛି ଓ ସମାନେେ ସୁରାପାନ ଦ୍ବାରା ବିପଥରେ ୟାଇଛନ୍ତି। ସମାନେେ ଦର୍ଶନ ରେ ଭ୍ରାନ୍ତ ହୁଅନ୍ତି ଓ ବିଚାର ରେ ଝୁଣ୍ଟି ପଡ଼ନ୍ତି।
8 ସମସ୍ତ ମଜେ ବାନ୍ତି ରେ ପରିପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ। ସଠାେ ରେ ମଇଳା ପାଇଁ ୟଥେଷ୍ଟ କଠାେରୀ ନ ଥିଲା।
9 ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଜ୍ଞାନ ଶିକ୍ଷା ଦବୋକୁ ଇଚ୍ଛା କରନ୍ତି। ଓ ତାଙ୍କ ସୁସମାଚାର ବୁଝାଇବାକୁ ଇଚ୍ଛା କରୁଛନ୍ତି। ମାତ୍ର ଲୋକମାନେ ଦୁଗ୍ଧ ପୋଷ୍ଯ ଶିଷ୍ଯ ସଦୃଶ ବୁଝିବାକୁ ଅକ୍ଷମ।
10 ତେଣୁ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଶିଶୁମାନଙ୍କୁ ବୁଝାଇବା ଢ଼ଙ୍ଗ ରେ କୁହନ୍ତି, କାରଣ ଏ ତ :
11 ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଅଦ୍ଭୁତ ସ୍ବର ରେ ଓ ଅନ୍ୟ ଭାଷା ରେ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କୁ କଥା କହିବେ।
12 ଅତୀତ ରେ ପରମେଶ୍ବର ସମାନଙ୍କେୁ କହିଥିଲେ ଏଠା ରେ ଏକ ବିଶ୍ରାମସ୍ଥଳ ଅଛି। ଏହି ଶାନ୍ତିମଯ ସ୍ଥାନ ରେ ଯେଉଁମାନେ ଆରାମ ଚାହୁଁଛ ଆସି ଆରାମ କର।'
13 ତେଣୁ ପରମେଶ୍ବର ବାକ୍ଯ ବିଦେଶୀ ଭାଷା ରେ କୁହାୟାଏ :
14 ହେ ୟିରୁଶାଲମସ୍ଥ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କର ଶାସନକାରୀ ନିନ୍ଦୁକମାନେ, ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କର ବାକ୍ଯ ଶୁଣ।
15 ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ କହିଅଛ, ଆମ୍ଭମାନେେ ମୃତ୍ଯୁସହିତ ସନ୍ଧି କରିଛୁ ଓ ପାତାଳ ସହିତ ଚୁକ୍ତି କରିଛୁ। ତେଣୁ ଜଳ ପ୍ରଳଯରୂପୀ କୋରଡ଼ା ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ନିକଟକୁ ଆସିବ ନାହିଁ। କାରଣ ଆମ୍ଭମାନେେ ମିଥ୍ଯାର ଆଶ୍ରଯ ନଇେଅଛୁ ଓ ଅସତ୍ଯ ପଛ ରେ ନିଜକୁ ଲୁଚାଇ ରଖିଛୁ।'
16 ସେଥିପାଇଁ ମାରେ ପ୍ରଭୁ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ କୁହନ୍ତି, ଦେଖ, ମୁଁ ସିୟୋନ ରେ ଏକ ଭିତ୍ତିମୂଳ ପ୍ରସ୍ତର ସ୍ଥାପନ କରୁଛି, ଏହା ଏକ ପରୀକ୍ଷାସିଦ୍ଧ ପ୍ରସ୍ତର ଓ ବହୁମୂଲ୍ଯବାନ କଣ ପ୍ରସ୍ତର। ଏହା ଉପ ରେ ସବୁକିଛି ଏହି ଗୁରୁତ୍ବପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ ପର୍ବତ ଉପ ରେ ନିର୍ମିତ ହବେ। ଯେ କହେି ଏହି ପ୍ରସ୍ତର ଉପ ରେ ବିଶ୍ବାସ ରେଖ ସେ ହତାଶ ହବେ ନାହିଁ।
17 ଲୋକେ କାନ୍ଥର ସଳଖତା ଜାଣିବା ପାଇଁ ଯେପରି ଓଳମ୍ ବ୍ଯବହାର କରନ୍ତି, ମୁଁ ସହେିପରି ସତ୍ଯ ପ୍ରତିଷ୍ଠା ପାଇଁ ନ୍ଯାଯ ଓ ଧାର୍ମିକତାକୁ ପ୍ରଯୋଗ କରିବି।
18 ମୃତ୍ଯୁ ସହିତ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କର ଚୁକ୍ତି ରହିତ ହବେ, ପାତାଳ ସହିତ ସନ୍ଧି କିଛି କାମ ଦବେ ନାହିଁ।
19 ଏହା ବହୁ ସମୟ ଆସି ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ନବେ। ଏହା ସକାଳେ ମଧ୍ଯାହ୍ନ, ସନ୍ଧ୍ଯା ବେଳେ ପ୍ରକାଶିତ ହବେ। ଆଉ ଯେତବେେଳେ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ବୁଝ, ତାହା ଅତି ଭୟଙ୍କର ହବେ।
20 ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ଆବୃତ କରିବା ପାଇଁ ତୁମ୍ଭ ଶୟ୍ଯା େଛାଟ ହବେ। କୌଣସି କମ୍ବଳ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ଆବୃତ କରିପାରିବେ ନାହିଁ।'
21 ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ପାରାସୀମ ପର୍ବତ ରେ ଉଠିଲାପରି ଉଠିବେ। ଗିବିଯୋନ ଉପତ୍ୟକା ରେ ଯେପରି କ୍ରୋଧାନ୍ବିତ ହାଇେଥିଲେ, ସହେିପରି କୋର୍ଧ କରିବେ। ସେତବେେଳେ ସେ ଅଦ୍ଭୁତକାର୍ୟ୍ଯ ସାମ୍ପାଦନ କରିବେ। ପୁଣି ସେ ନିଜର କାର୍ୟ୍ଯ ତଥା ଅଲୌକିକ କାର୍ୟ୍ଯ ସମ୍ପନ୍ନ କରିବେ।
22 ବର୍ତ୍ତମାନ ଆଉ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ସିନ୍ଦୁକ ହୁଅ ନାହିଁ। ଯଦି ତୁମ୍ଭେ ତାହା କର, ତୁମ୍ଭ ଚାରି ପାଖ ରେ ଥିବା ବନ୍ଧନ ରଜ୍ଜୁ ଦୃଢ଼ ହବେ।
23 ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ମନୋୟୋଗ ସହକା ରେ ଆମ୍ଭର ବାକ୍ଯ ପ୍ରତି ଧ୍ଯାନ ଦିଅ ଓ ଗ୍ରହଣ କର।
24 କୃଷକ କ'ଣ ବୀଜ ବପନ ପାଇଁ ସର୍ବଦା ଜମିକୁ କର୍ଷଣ କରେ ? ସେ କ'ଣ ସର୍ବଦା ଭୂମିକୁ ଶିଆର କରି ଟକୋ ଭାଙ୍ଗେ ?
25 କୃଷକ ଜମିକୁ ପ୍ରସ୍ତୁତ କରି ସମାନ କଲାପ ରେ ବିଭିନ୍ନ ପ୍ରକାର ବୀଜ ବିଭିନ୍ନ ଭାବରେ ବପନ କରେ। କଳାଜିରା ବିଞ୍ଚି ଦିଏ ଓ ଜିରା ବୁଣି ଦିଏ। ଧାଡ଼ି ଧାଡ଼ିକରି ଗହମ ଓ ନିରୂପିତ ସ୍ଥାନ ରେ ୟବ ଏବଂ କ୍ଷେତ୍ରର ସୀମା ରେ ଜହ୍ନୀ ବୁଣିଥାଏ।
26 ଆମର ପ୍ରଭୁ ପରମେଶ୍ବର ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ଶିକ୍ଷା ଦବୋକୁ ଏପରି କରୁଛନ୍ତି। ସେ ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ଏହି ଦୃଷ୍ଟାନ୍ତ ଦଖାଇେ ଯଥାର୍ଥ ଭାବରେ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କୁ ଶିକ୍ଷା ଦିଅନ୍ତି।
27 କୃଷକ କ'ଣ କଳାଜିରାକୁ କୌଣସି ତୀକ୍ଷ୍ମ ପତ୍ର ରେ ପଷେେ ? ସେ କ'ଣ ଜିରା ଅମଳ କରିବା ପାଇଁ ଶକଟ ଚକ୍ର ବୁଲାଏ ? ସେ ୟଷ୍ଟି ବ୍ଯବହାର କରି ସମାନଙ୍କେୁ ଅମଳ କରେ।
28 ଜଣେ ସ୍ତ୍ରୀ ଲୋକ ପାଣି ଅଟା ସହିତ ମିଶାଏ ଏବଂ ରୋଟୀ କରିବା ପାଇଁ ହାତ ରେ ଦଳେ, ମାତ୍ର ସେ ତାହା ଚିରକାଳ କରେ ନାହିଁ। ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ତାଙ୍କ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କୁ ସହେିପରି ଶିକ୍ଷା ଦିଅନ୍ତି। ସେ ଯଦିଓ ଶକଟଚକ୍ର ଘୁରାନ୍ତି, ସେ ତାଙ୍କର ଅଶ୍ବଗଣକୁ ଚୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ କରନ୍ତି ନାହିଁ।
29 ସର୍ବଶକ୍ତିମାନ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କଠାରୁ ଏହି ଶିକ୍ଷା ମିଳିଥାଏ। ସେ ଆଶ୍ଚର୍ୟ୍ଯ ଜନକ ମନ୍ତ୍ରଣା ଦିଅନ୍ତି ଓ ପ୍ରକୃତ ରେ ସେ ଜ୍ଞାନ ରେ ମହାନ୍।
1 Woe to the crown of pride, to the drunkards of Ephraim, whose glorious beauty is a fading flower, which are on the head of the fat valleys of them that are overcome with wine!
2 Behold, the Lord hath a mighty and strong one, which as a tempest of hail and a destroying storm, as a flood of mighty waters overflowing, shall cast down to the earth with the hand.
3 The crown of pride, the drunkards of Ephraim, shall be trodden under feet:
4 And the glorious beauty, which is on the head of the fat valley, shall be a fading flower, and as the hasty fruit before the summer; which when he that looketh upon it seeth, while it is yet in his hand he eateth it up.
5 In that day shall the Lord of hosts be for a crown of glory, and for a diadem of beauty, unto the residue of his people,
6 And for a spirit of judgment to him that sitteth in judgment, and for strength to them that turn the battle to the gate.
7 But they also have erred through wine, and through strong drink are out of the way; the priest and the prophet have erred through strong drink, they are swallowed up of wine, they are out of the way through strong drink; they err in vision, they stumble in judgment.
8 For all tables are full of vomit and filthiness, so that there is no place clean.
9 Whom shall he teach knowledge? and whom shall he make to understand doctrine? them that are weaned from the milk, and drawn from the breasts.
10 For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little:
11 For with stammering lips and another tongue will he speak to this people.
12 To whom he said, This is the rest wherewith ye may cause the weary to rest; and this is the refreshing: yet they would not hear.
13 But the word of the Lord was unto them precept upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little; that they might go, and fall backward, and be broken, and snared, and taken.
14 Wherefore hear the word of the Lord, ye scornful men, that rule this people which is in Jerusalem.
15 Because ye have said, We have made a covenant with death, and with hell are we at agreement; when the overflowing scourge shall pass through, it shall not come unto us: for we have made lies our refuge, and under falsehood have we hid ourselves:
16 Therefore thus saith the Lord God, Behold, I lay in Zion for a foundation a stone, a tried stone, a precious corner stone, a sure foundation: he that believeth shall not make haste.
17 Judgment also will I lay to the line, and righteousness to the plummet: and the hail shall sweep away the refuge of lies, and the waters shall overflow the hiding place.
18 And your covenant with death shall be disannulled, and your agreement with hell shall not stand; when the overflowing scourge shall pass through, then ye shall be trodden down by it.
19 From the time that it goeth forth it shall take you: for morning by morning shall it pass over, by day and by night: and it shall be a vexation only to understand the report.
20 For the bed is shorter than that a man can stretch himself on it: and the covering narrower than that he can wrap himself in it.
21 For the Lord shall rise up as in mount Perazim, he shall be wroth as in the valley of Gibeon, that he may do his work, his strange work; and bring to pass his act, his strange act.
22 Now therefore be ye not mockers, lest your bands be made strong: for I have heard from the Lord God of hosts a consumption, even determined upon the whole earth.
23 Give ye ear, and hear my voice; hearken, and hear my speech.
24 Doth the plowman plow all day to sow? doth he open and break the clods of his ground?
25 When he hath made plain the face thereof, doth he not cast abroad the fitches, and scatter the cummin, and cast in the principal wheat and the appointed barley and the rie in their place?
26 For his God doth instruct him to discretion, and doth teach him.
27 For the fitches are not threshed with a threshing instrument, neither is a cart wheel turned about upon the cummin; but the fitches are beaten out with a staff, and the cummin with a rod.
28 Bread corn is bruised; because he will not ever be threshing it, nor break it with the wheel of his cart, nor bruise it with his horsemen.
29 This also cometh forth from the Lord of hosts, which is wonderful in counsel, and excellent in working.

1 ମିଶର ବିଷଯକ ଲୋକ ବାର୍ତ୍ତା : ଦେଖ ! ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଦ୍ରୁତଗାମୀ ମେଘ ରେ ଆସୁଛନ୍ତି। ସେ ମିଶର ରେ ପ୍ରବେଶ କରିବେ ଏବଂ ମିଶରର ସମସ୍ତ ପ୍ରତିମା ଭୟ ରେ ଥରିବେ। ମିଶର ସାହସୀ ଥିଲା, ମାତ୍ର ତା'ର ସେ ସାହସ ଉତ୍ତପ୍ତ ମହମ ପରି ତରଳି ୟିବ।
The burden of Egypt. Behold, the Lord rideth upon a swift cloud, and shall come into Egypt: and the idols of Egypt shall be moved at his presence, and the heart of Egypt shall melt in the midst of it.
2 ପରମେଶ୍ବର କୁହନ୍ତି, ମିଶରୀଯମାନେ ଆପଣା ଆପଣା ବିରୁଦ୍ଧ ରେ ୟୁଦ୍ଧ କରିବେ, ମୁଁ ତା'ର କାରଣ ହବେି। ଲୋକେ ସମାନଙ୍କେ ଭାଇ ବିପକ୍ଷ ରେ ସଂଗ୍ରାମ କରିବେ। ପଡ଼ୋଶୀ ପଡ଼ୋଶୀ ମଧିଅରେ ୟୁଦ୍ଧ ହବେ। ନଗର ନଗର ମଧିଅରେ ଓ ରାଜ୍ଯ ରାଜ୍ଯ ମଧିଅରେ ଲଢ଼ିବେ।
And I will set the Egyptians against the Egyptians: and they shall fight every one against his brother, and every one against his neighbour; city against city, and kingdom against kingdom.
3 ମିଶରୀଯମାନେ ବିଭ୍ରାନ୍ତ ହବେେ। ସମାନେେ କ'ଣ କରିବେ ବୋଲି ପ୍ରତିମାମାନଙ୍କୁ ଓ ଗୁଣୀ ଜ୍ଞାନୀମାନଙ୍କୁ ପଚାରିବେ। ଆଉ ମଧ୍ଯ ସମାନେେ ଯାକୁବର ଓ ଗୁଣିଆମାନଙ୍କର ପରାମର୍ଶ ନବେେ। ମାତ୍ର ସମାନଙ୍କେର ଉପଦେଶ ଅର୍ଥହୀନ ହବେ।'
And the spirit of Egypt shall fail in the midst thereof; and I will destroy the counsel thereof: and they shall seek to the idols, and to the charmers, and to them that have familiar spirits, and to the wizards.
4 ମାରେପ୍ରଭୁ ସର୍ବଶକ୍ତିମାନ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ କହନ୍ତି, ମୁଁ ମିଶରୀଯମାନଙ୍କୁ ଏକ ନିର୍ଦ୍ଦଯ ପ୍ରଭୁ ହସ୍ତ ରେ ସମର୍ପଣ କରିବି ଓ ଏକ ଦୂରନ୍ତ ରାଜା ସମାନଙ୍କେୁ ଶାସନ କରିବେ।
And the Egyptians will I give over into the hand of a cruel lord; and a fierce king shall rule over them, saith the Lord, the Lord of hosts.
5 ନୀଳନଦୀ ଶୁଷ୍କ ହବେ ଏବଂ ନଦୀଗୁଡ଼ିକ ଜଳଶୂନ୍ଯ ହବେ।
And the waters shall fail from the sea, and the river shall be wasted and dried up.
6 ସମସ୍ତ ନଦୀ ଦୁର୍ଗନ୍ଧ ହବେ। ମିଶରର ସମସ୍ତ ନାଳ ଶୁଷ୍କ ହାଇେ ଜଳଶୂନ୍ଯ ହବେ। ସମସ୍ତ ଜଳଜ ଉଦ୍ଭିଦ ଶୁଖି ମରିଯିବେ।
And they shall turn the rivers far away; and the brooks of defence shall be emptied and dried up: the reeds and flags shall wither.
7 ନଦୀ ତୀରବର୍ତ୍ତୀ ଉଦ୍ଭିଦ ସବୁ ମରିଯିବେ ଓ ପବନ ରେ ଉଡ଼ି ଯିବେ। ଏପରିକି ନୀଳନଦୀ କୂଳ ରେ ଜନ୍ମିଥିବା ଗଛଗୁଡ଼ିକ ମରିଯିବେ।
The paper reeds by the brooks, by the mouth of the brooks, and every thing sown by the brooks, shall wither, be driven away, and be no more.
8 ଯେଉଁ କବୈର୍ତ୍ତମାନେ ବନଶୀ ସାହାୟ୍ଯ ରେ ନୀଳନଦୀରୁ ମାଛ ଧରୁଥିଲେ, ସମାନେେ ଦୁଃଖିତ ହବେେ ଓ କାନ୍ଦିବା ଆରମ୍ଭ କରିବେ। ଯେଉଁମାନେ ବନିଶୀ ପକାଇ ନୀଳନଦୀରୁ ମାଛ ଧରୁଥିଲେ, ବିଳାପ କରିବେ। ଯେଉଁମାନେ ପାଣି ରେ ଜାଲ ପକାଉଥିଲେ ହତାଶ ହବେ। ସମାନଙ୍କେର ଜୀବିକା ପାଇଁ ନୀଳନଦୀ ଉପ ରେ ନିର୍ଭର କରୁଥିଲେ। କିନ୍ତୁ ସେ ଶୁଖିୟିବ।
The fishers also shall mourn, and all they that cast angle into the brooks shall lament, and they that spread nets upon the waters shall languish.
9 ଯେଉଁ ଲୋକମାନେ ଲୁଗା ବୁଣୁଥିଲେ ସମାନେେ ଅତ୍ଯନ୍ତ ଦୁଃଖିତ ହବେ। କାରଣ ସମାନେେ ଯେଉଁ ଛଣପଟ ଶୁକ୍ଲବସ୍ତ୍ର ପାଇଁ ଦରକାର କରନ୍ତି, ନଦୀ ଶୁଖି ୟିବାରୁ ତାହା ଆଉ ଜନ୍ମିବ ନାହିଁ।
Moreover they that work in fine flax, and they that weave networks, shall be confounded.
10 ଭଗ୍ନ ବୁଣାଳୀମାନେ ଏବଂ ଯେଉଁମାନେ ସବୁ ମଜୁରୀ ପାଇଁ କାମ କରୁଥିଲେ ଦୁଃଖୀ ହବେ।
And they shall be broken in the purposes thereof, all that make sluices and ponds for fish.
11 ସିୟୋନର ଅଧିପତିମାନେ ନିତାନ୍ତ ନିର୍ବୋଧ। ଫାରୋର ଜ୍ଞାନୀ ଉପଦେଷ୍ଟାଗଣ କୁପରାମର୍ଶ ଦିଅନ୍ତି। ସହେି ଅଧିପତିଗଣ ନିଜକୁ ଜ୍ଞାନୀ ଏବଂ ବିଦ୍ବାନ ମନେ କରନ୍ତି। ସମାନେେ ପ୍ରାଚୀନ ବୈଭବଶାଳୀ ରାଜବଂଶର ଅଂଶ ଅଟନ୍ତି। ମାତ୍ର ପ୍ରକୃତ ରେ ସମାନେେ ଜ୍ଞାନୀ ନୁହଁନ୍ତି।'
Surely the princes of Zoan are fools, the counsel of the wise counsellers of Pharaoh is become brutish: how say ye unto Pharaoh, I am the son of the wise, the son of ancient kings?
12 ହେ ମିଶର, ତୁମ୍ଭର ଜ୍ଞାନୀ ବ୍ଯକ୍ତିଗଣ କେଉଁଠା ରେ ? ସହେି ଜ୍ଞାନୀ ବ୍ଯକ୍ତିଗଣଙ୍କୁ ଜଣାନ୍ତୁ ସର୍ବଶକ୍ତିମାନ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ମିଶର ବିଷଯ ରେ କି ମନ୍ତ୍ରଣା କରିଛନ୍ତି। ସମାନଙ୍କେୁ କ'ଣ ଘଟିବ କୁହନ୍ତୁ।
Where are they? where are thy wise men? and let them tell thee now, and let them know what the Lord of hosts hath purposed upon Egypt.
13 ସିୟୋନର ଅଧିପତିମାନେ ନିର୍ବୋଧ ହାଇେ ଅଛନ୍ତି। ନୋଫର ଅଧିପତିମାନେ ଭ୍ରାନ୍ତ ଧାରଣା କରିଛନ୍ତି। ତେଣୁ ସହେି ଅଧିପତିଗଣ ମିଶରକୁ ବିପଥଗାମୀ କରାଇଛନ୍ତି।
The princes of Zoan are become fools, the princes of Noph are deceived; they have also seduced Egypt, even they that are the stay of the tribes thereof.
14 ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ମିଶରୀଯମାନଙ୍କୁ ବିଭ୍ରାନ୍ତ କରାଇଛନ୍ତି। ସମାନେେ ନିଜେ ବାଉଳା ହାଇେଛନ୍ତି ଓ ମିଶରକୁ କୁପଥରେ ନଇେଛନ୍ତି। ସହେି ପ୍ରାଚୀନଗଣ ଯାହା ସବୁ କରିଛନ୍ତି ସେ ସମସ୍ତ କୁକର୍ମ। ମାତାଲ ନିଜ ବାନ୍ତି ରେ ଟଳଟଳ ହେଲାପରି ସମାନେେ ମିଶରକୁ ପ୍ରେତ୍ୟକକ କାର୍ୟ୍ଯ ରେ ବିପଥଗାମୀ କରିଛନ୍ତି।
The Lord hath mingled a perverse spirit in the midst thereof: and they have caused Egypt to err in every work thereof, as a drunken man staggereth in his vomit.
15 ଅଧିପତିମାନେ ମିଶର ପାଇଁ କିଛି କରିପାରିବେ ନାହିଁ। ସମାନେେ, ମସ୍ତକ କି ଲାଙ୍ଗୁଳ, ତଳବାହୁଙ୍ଗା କି ଜଳଜ ତୃଣ ଯାହା କରିପା ରେ ସମାନେେ ତାହା କରିପାରିବେ ନାହିଁ।'
Neither shall there be any work for Egypt, which the head or tail, branch or rush, may do.
16 ସଦେିନ ମିଶରୀଯଗଣ ସ୍ତ୍ରୀ ସଦୃଶ ହବେେ। ସମାନେେ ସର୍ବଶକ୍ତିମାନ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କୁ ଭୟ କରିବେ। ଯେତବେେଳେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଦଣ୍ଡ ଦବୋପାଇଁ ହସ୍ତ ଉତ୍ତୋଳନ କରିବେ, ସେତବେେଳେ ସମାନେେ ଭୟଭୀତ ହବେେ।
In that day shall Egypt be like unto women: and it shall be afraid and fear because of the shaking of the hand of the Lord of hosts, which he shaketh over it.
17 ମିଶର ପ୍ରତି ଯିହୁଦା ତ୍ରାସଜନକ ହବେ। ମିଶରର ଯେ କୌଣସି ବ୍ଯକ୍ତି ଯିହୁଦାର ନାମ ଶୁଣିବ ଭୟ ରେ ଥରିବ। ଏସବୁ ଘଟିବାର କାରଣ ହେଉଛି ସର୍ବଶକ୍ତିମାନ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ମିଶର ରେ ଭୟଙ୍କର ଜିନିଷ ଘଟିବ ବୋଲି ମନ୍ତ୍ରଣା କରିଛନ୍ତି।
And the land of Judah shall be a terror unto Egypt, every one that maketh mention thereof shall be afraid in himself, because of the counsel of the Lord of hosts, which he hath determined against it.
18 ସେ ସମୟରେ, ମିଶରର ପାଞ୍ଚଟି ନଗର ରେ ଲୋକ କିଣାନୀଯ ଭାଷା କହିବେ, ସମାନେେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ସର୍ବଶକ୍ତିମାନଙ୍କୁ ଅନୁସରଣ କରିବେ ବୋଲି ଶପଥ ନବେେ। ସହେି ପାଞ୍ଚ ନଗରମାନଙ୍କ ମଧ୍ଯରୁ ଏକ ନଗର, ଉତ୍ପାଟନ ନଗର' ନାମ ରେ ଖ୍ଯାତ ହବେ।
In that day shall five cities in the land of Egypt speak the language of Canaan, and swear to the Lord of hosts; one shall be called, The city of destruction.
19 ସହେି ସମୟରେ ମିଶରର ମଧ୍ଯ ସ୍ଥାନ ରେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ପାଇଁ ଏକ ୟଜ୍ଞବଦେୀ ହବେ ଏବଂ ତାହାର ସୀମା ନିକଟରେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କୁ ସମ୍ମାନ ଜଣାଇବା ପାଇଁ ଏକ ସ୍ତମ୍ଭ ରହିବ।
In that day shall there be an altar to the Lord in the midst of the land of Egypt, and a pillar at the border thereof to the Lord.
20 ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ସର୍ବଶକ୍ତିମଯ ମହାନ୍ ବସ୍ତୁର ସୃଷ୍ଟିକର୍ତ୍ତା ବୋଲି ଏହା ତା'ର ସଙ୍କତେ ହବେ। ଯେ କୌଣସି ସମୟରେ ଲୋକମାନେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କୁ ସାହାୟ୍ଯ ଭିକ୍ଷା କରିବେ, ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ସାହାୟ୍ଯ ପଠାଇବେ। ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କ ପ୍ରତିରକ୍ଷା ପାଇଁ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଜଣେ ବ୍ଯକ୍ତିକୁ ପ୍ ରରଣେ କରିବେ। ସହେି ବ୍ଯକ୍ତିଟି ଦୁଷ୍କର୍ମ କରୁଥିବା ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କଠାରୁ ଅନ୍ୟମାନଙ୍କୁ ରକ୍ଷା କରିବ।
And it shall be for a sign and for a witness unto the Lord of hosts in the land of Egypt: for they shall cry unto the Lord because of the oppressors, and he shall send them a saviour, and a great one, and he shall deliver them.
21 ସହେିଦିନ ମିଶରୀଯମାନେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କର ପ୍ରକୃତ ପରିଚଯ ପାଇବେ। ସମାନେେ ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କୁ ପ୍ ରମେ କରିବେ। ସମାନେେ ତାଙ୍କୁ ସବୋ କରିବେ ଓ ତାଙ୍କ ଉଦ୍ଦେଶ୍ଯ ରେ ବଳିଦାନ ଦବେେ। ଆଉ ମଧ୍ଯ ସମାନେେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ଉଦ୍ଦେଶ୍ଯ ରେ ଶପଥ ନବେେ ଓ ସେ ଶପଥ ପାଳନ କରିବେ।
And the Lord shall be known to Egypt, and the Egyptians shall know the Lord in that day, and shall do sacrifice and oblation; yea, they shall vow a vow unto the Lord, and perform it.
22 ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ମିଶରୀଯମାନଙ୍କୁ ଦଣ୍ଡ ଦବେେ। ଆଉ ମଧ୍ଯ ସମାନଙ୍କେୁ ସେ କ୍ଷମା ଦବେେ। ତେଣୁ ସମାନେେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ନିକଟକୁ ଚାଲି ଆସିବେ। ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ସମାନଙ୍କେର ପ୍ରାର୍ଥନା ଶୁଣିବେ ଓ ସମାନଙ୍କେୁ କ୍ଷମା ଦବେେ।
And the Lord shall smite Egypt: he shall smite and heal it: and they shall return even to the Lord, and he shall be intreated of them, and shall heal them.
23 ସହେି ସମୟରେ ମିଶରରୁ ଅଶୂର ପର୍ୟ୍ଯନ୍ତ ଏକ ରାଜପଥ ନିର୍ମିତ ହବେ। ତା'ପ ରେ ଅଶୂରର ଲୋକମନେ ମିଶରକୁ ଆସିବେ ଓ ମିଶରର ଲୋକମାନେ ଅଶୂରକୁ ଯିବେ। ମିଶରର ଲୋକମାନେ ଅଶୂରର ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କ ସହିତ ପୂଜା କରିବେ।
In that day shall there be a highway out of Egypt to Assyria, and the Assyrian shall come into Egypt, and the Egyptian into Assyria, and the Egyptians shall serve with the Assyrians.
24 ସେ ସମୟରେ ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲ, ଅଶୂର ଓ ମିଶର ଏକତ୍ରୀତ ହବେେ ଓ ରାଜ୍ଯକୁ ନିଯନ୍ତ୍ରଣ କରିବେ। ଏମାନେ ପୃଥିବୀ ପାଇଁ ଆଶୀର୍ବାଦର ପାତ୍ର ହବେେ।
In that day shall Israel be the third with Egypt and with Assyria, even a blessing in the midst of the land:
25 ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ସର୍ବଶକ୍ତିମାନ ଏ ଦେଶଗୁଡ଼ିକୁ ଆଶୀର୍ବାଦ କରିବେ। ସେ କହିବେ, ହେ ମିଶରୀଯମାନେ, ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ମାରେ ଲୋକ। ଅଶୂର ମୁଁ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ତିଆରି କରିଛି। ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ସମସ୍ତେ ଆଶୀର୍ବାଦର ପାତ୍ର।'
Whom the Lord of hosts shall bless, saying, Blessed be Egypt my people, and Assyria the work of my hands, and Israel mine inheritance.
