Isaiah 65
1 ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ କହିଲେ, ଯେଉଁମାନେ ଆମ୍ଭ ବିଷଯ ରେ ପଚାରିଲେ ନାହିଁ, ସମାନଙ୍କେ ଦ୍ବାରା ଆମ୍ଭେ ଅନ୍ବଷେିତ ହେଲୁ, ଯେଉଁମାନେ ଆମ୍ଭକୁ ଖାଜେିଲେ ନାହିଁ, ଆମ୍ଭେ ସମାନଙ୍କେୁ ପ୍ରାପ୍ତ ହେଲୁ। ପୁଣି ଯେଉଁ ଦେଶୀଯମାନେ ଆମ୍ଭର ନାମ ଉଚ୍ଚାରଣ କରି ନ ଥିଲେ, ଆମ୍ଭେ ସମାନଙ୍କେୁ 'ଆମ୍ଭକୁ ଦେଖ, ଆମ୍ଭକୁ ଦେଖ' ବୋଲି କହିଲୁ।
2 ଯେଉଁମାନେ ନିଜ ନିଜ ଚିନ୍ତାନୁସା ରେ କୁପଥରେ ଗମନ କରନ୍ତି, ସହେି ବିଦ୍ରୋହାଚାରୀ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କ ପ୍ରତି ଆମ୍ଭେ ଦିନସାରା ଆମ୍ଭ ହସ୍ତ ବିସ୍ତାର କରିଥାଉ।
3 ସହେି ଲୋକମାନେ ଉଦ୍ୟାନ ରେ ବଳିଦାନ କରି ଓ ଆମ୍ଭ ସମ୍ମୁଖ ରେ ଗୁଡ଼ିଏ ଇଟା ଉପ ରେ ଧୂପ ଜଳାଇ କ୍ରମାଗତ ଭାବରେ ଆମ୍ଭକୁ ବିରକ୍ତ କରାନ୍ତି।
4 ସମାନେେ କବରସ୍ଥାନ ମଧିଅରେ ବସନ୍ତି ଓ ଗୁମ୍ଫା ମଧିଅରେ ରାତ୍ରି ୟାପନ କରନ୍ତି। ସମାନେେ ଶୂକର ମାଂସ ଭକ୍ଷଣ କରନ୍ତି ଓ ସମାନଙ୍କେ ପାତ୍ର ରେ ଦୂଷିତ ମାଂସ ଝୋଳ ଥାଏ।
5 ମାତ୍ର ସହେି ଲୋକମନେ କୁହନ୍ତି, ସେସ୍ଥାନ ରେ ଛିଡ଼ା ହୁଅ, ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ନିକଟକୁ ଆସ ନାହିଁ, କାରଣ ଆମ୍ଭମାନେେ ତୁମ୍ଭ ଅପେକ୍ଷା ପବିତ୍ର।' କିନ୍ତୁ ସହେି ଲୋକମାନେ ଆମ୍ଭ ନାସିକାର ଧୂମସ୍ବରୂପ ଓ ଦିନସାରା ପ୍ରଜ୍ଜ୍ବଳିତ ଅଗ୍ନି ସ୍ବରୂପ।'
6 ଦେଖ, ଆମ୍ଭ ସମ୍ମୁଖ ରେ ଏହା ଲିଖିତ ଅଛି, ଆମ୍ଭେ ନୀରବ ରହିବା ନାହିଁ, ମାତ୍ର ପ୍ରତିଫଳ ଦବୋ, ହଁ ଆମ୍ଭେ ସମାନଙ୍କେ କୋଳ ରେ ପ୍ରତିଫଳ ଦବୋ।
7 ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ କୁହନ୍ତି, ଆମ୍ଭେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ପାପ ପାଇଁ ଓ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ପିତୃପୁରୁଷଙ୍କ ପାପ ପାଇଁ ଉଭୟଙ୍କୁ ପ୍ରତିଫଳ ଦବୋ। କାରଣ ସମାନେେ ପର୍ବତଗୁଡ଼ିକ ଉପ ରେ ଧୂପ ଜଳାଇଛନ୍ତି ଓ ଉପପର୍ବତଗୁଡ଼ିକ ଉପ ରେ ଆମ୍ଭର ନିନ୍ଦା କରିଛନ୍ତି। ଏଣୁ ସମାନଙ୍କେ କାର୍ୟ୍ଯର ମାନ କଳନା କରି ପ୍ରତିଫଳ ସମାନଙ୍କେ କୋଳ ରେ ଦବୋ।
8 ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଏହିକଥା କୁହନ୍ତି, ଯେତବେେଳେ ଦ୍ରାକ୍ଷାଫଳ ରେ ନୂତନ ଦ୍ରାକ୍ଷାରସ ମିଳେ, ଲୋକେ କୁହନ୍ତି, ଏହାକୁ ନଷ୍ଟ କର ନାହିଁ। କାରଣ ଏଥି ରେ ଆଶୀର୍ବାଦ ଅଛି, ସହେିପରି ଆମ୍ଭ ଦାସମାନଙ୍କ ପାଇଁ ଆମ୍ଭେ ସମସ୍ତଙ୍କୁ ବିନାଶ କରିବା ନାହିଁ।
9 ପୁଣି ଆମ୍ଭେ ଯାକୁବଠାରୁ ଗୋଟିଏ ବଂଶ ଓ ଯିହୁଦାଠାରୁ ଆମ୍ଭ ପର୍ବତମାନଙ୍କର ଏକ ଅଧିକାରୀ ଉତ୍ପନ୍ନ କରିବା। ଆମ୍ଭର ମନୋନୀତ ଲୋକମାନେ ତାହା ଅଧିକାର କରିବେ ଓ ଆମ୍ଭର ଦାସମାନେ ସଠାେ ରେ ବସତି ସ୍ଥାପନ କରିବେ।
10 ଆଉ ଯେଉଁମାନେ ଆମ୍ଭକୁ ଅନ୍ବଷେଣ କରନ୍ତି ସମାନଙ୍କେ ପାଇଁ ଶାରୋଣ ଏକ ମଷେମାନଙ୍କର ଚାରଣ ଭୂମି ଓ ଆଖୋର ଉପତ୍ୟକା ଗୋପଲର ଶଯନସ୍ଥଳ ହବେ।
11 ମାତ୍ର ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କୁ ପରିତ୍ଯାଗ କରିଅଛ ଓ ଆମ୍ଭର ପବିତ୍ର ପର୍ବତକୁ ପାଶୋରି ଅଛ। ଭଣ୍ଡ ଦବେତା ଉଦ୍ଦେଶ୍ଯ ରେ ମଜେ ସଜାଉଛ ଓ ନିରୁପଣୀ ଦବେୀ ଉଦ୍ଦେଶ୍ଯ ରେ ମିଶ୍ରିତ ଦ୍ରାକ୍ଷାରସ ପୂରଣ କରୁଅଛ।
12 ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ଆମ୍ଭେ ଖଡ୍ଗ ରେ ଚ୍ଛଦନେ କରିବା ଓ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ସମସ୍ତେ ବଧ୍ଯସ୍ଥାନ ରେ ନଇଁ ପଡ଼ିବ। କାରଣ ଆମ୍ଭେ ଡ଼ାକିଲା ବେଳେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ଉତ୍ତର କଲ ନାହିଁ, ଆମ୍ଭେ କଥା କହିଲା ବେଳେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ଶୁଣିଲ ନାହିଁ। କିନ୍ତୁ ଆମ୍ଭ ଦୃଷ୍ଟି ରେ ଯାହା ମନ୍ଦ ସହେି କାର୍ୟ୍ଯ କଲ ଓ ଯାହା ଆମ୍ଭକୁ ଅସନ୍ତୁଷ୍ଟ କରିବ ସହେି କାର୍ୟଅକୁ ମନୋନୀତ କଲ।
13 ସହେି ସକାେଶ ମାରେ ପ୍ରଭୁ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଏହିକଥା କରନ୍ତି, ଆମ୍ଭର ଦାସମାନେ ଭୋଜନ କରିବେ, ମାତ୍ର ତୁମ୍ଭେ ମନ୍ଦାଚାରୀମାନେ କ୍ଷୁଧାର୍ତ୍ତ ରହିବ। ଆମ୍ଭର ଦାସମାନେ ପାନ କରିବେ, ମାତ୍ର ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ତୃଷାର୍ତ୍ତ ରହିବ। ଆମ୍ଭର ଦାସମାନେ ଆନନ୍ଦ କଲା ବେଳେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ଲଜ୍ଜିତ ହବେ।
14 ଆମ୍ଭର ଦାସମାନେ ଆନନ୍ଦ ରେ ଗାନ କରିବେ କାରଣ ସମାନଙ୍କେ ହୃଦଯ ସୁଖ ରେ ପରିପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ । ମାତ୍ର ତୁମ୍ଭେ ମନ୍ଦାଚାରୀଗଣ ହୃଦଯର ଦୁଃଖ ନିମିତ୍ତ ବିଳାପ କରିବ। ଆଉ ମଧ୍ଯ ଆତ୍ମାର ବିରକ୍ତିଭାବ ଯୋଗୁଁ ହାହାକାର କରିବ।
15 ପୁନଶ୍ଚ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ଆମ୍ଭ ମନୋନୀତ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କ ନିକଟରେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କର ନାମ ଅଭିଶାପରୂପେ ରଖାୟିବ। ତେଣୁ ମାରେ ପ୍ରଭୁ ସଦାପ୍ରକୁ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ବଧ କରିବେ। ସେ ନିଜର ଦାସମାନଙ୍କୁ ଅନ୍ୟ ନାମ ରେ ନାମିତ କରିବେ।
16 ଯେଉଁଲୋକ ପୃଥିବୀ ରେ ଆଶୀର୍ବାଦର ପାତ୍ର ହୁଏ, ସେ ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କ ଦ୍ବାରା ଆଶୀର୍ବାଦିତ ହବେ ଓ ଯେଉଁ ଲୋକ ପୃଥିବୀ ରେ ଶପଥ କରିବ ସେ ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କ ନାମ ରେ ଶପଥ କରିବ। କାରଣ ଅତୀତର ସଙ୍କଟସବୁ ବିସ୍ମୃତ ହାଇେଅଛି ଓ ତାହା ସବୁ ଆମ୍ଭ ଦୃଷ୍ଟିରୁ ଗୁପ୍ତ ହାଇେଅଛି।
17 କାରଣ ଦେଖ, ଆମ୍ଭେ ନୂତନ ସ୍ବର୍ଗମଣ୍ଡଳ ଓ ନୂତନ ପୃଥିବୀ ସୃଷ୍ଟି କରୁଅଛୁ। ତେଣୁ ପୂର୍ବକାଳର ବିଷଯସବୁ ବିସ୍ମୃତ ହବେ ଓ ସଗେୁଡ଼ିକ ଆଉ ସ୍ମୃତିକୁ ଆସିବ ନାହିଁ।
18 ମାତ୍ର ଯାହା ଆମ୍ଭେ ସୃଷ୍ଟି କରୁ, ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ଚିରକାଳ ତହିଁରେ ଆନନ୍ଦ ଉଲ୍ଲାସ କର। କାରଣ ଆମ୍ଭେ ୟିରୁଶାଲମକୁ ଏକ ଆନନ୍ଦ ମୁଖରିତ ନଗରରୂପେ ଓ ତହିଁର ନିବାସୀଗଣଙ୍କୁ ଆନନ୍ଦର ପାତ୍ର ରୂପେ ସୃଷ୍ଟି କରୁ।
19 ପୁଣି ଆମ୍ଭେ ୟିରୁଶାଲମ ରେ ଆନନ୍ଦ କରିବା ଓ ଆମ୍ଭ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କଠା ରେ ଉଲ୍ଲାସ କରିବା। ସଠାେ ରେ ଆଉ ବିଳାପର ଧ୍ବନି ଓ କ୍ରନ୍ଦନର ସ୍ବର ଶୁଣାୟିବ ନାହିଁ।
20 କ୍ଷୀଣଜୀବୀ ଶିଶୁ ନୁହେଁ କିନ୍ତୁ ବୃଦ୍ଧା ଯେ କି ଗୋଟିଏ ପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ ଜୀବନ ବଞ୍ଚି ରହେ ନାହିଁ। ସଠାେ ରେ ବଞ୍ଚି ରହିବ, ଗୋଟିଏ ବାଳକ ଏକଶତ ବର୍ଷ ପର୍ୟ୍ଯନ୍ତ ବଞ୍ଚିତ ଏବଂ ଯଦି ଗୋଟିଏ ବାଳକ ଏକଶତ ବର୍ଷ ପୂର୍ବରୁ ମ ରେ, ସେ ଅଭିଶପ୍ତ ବୋଲି ବିଚାର କରାୟିବ।
21 ସହେି ସ୍ଥାନ ରେ ଲୋକମାନେ ଗୃହ ନିର୍ମାଣ କରି ତହିଁରେ ବାସ କରିବେ ଓ ସମାନେେ ଦ୍ରାକ୍ଷାକ୍ଷତେ ପ୍ରସ୍ତୁତ କରି ତାହାର ଫଳ ଭୋଗ କରିବେ।
22 ସମାନେେ ନିର୍ମାଣ କରିଥିବା ଗୃହ ରେ ଅନ୍ୟ ଲୋକ ବାସ କରିପାରିବେ ନାହିଁ ଓ ସମାନଙ୍କେ ରୋପିତ ବୃକ୍ଷର ଫଳ ଅନ୍ୟ ଲୋକ ଭୋଗ କରିବ ନାହିଁ। କାରଣ ଆମ୍ଭ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କର ଆଯୁ ବୃକ୍ଷର ଆଯୁତୁଲ୍ଯ ହବେ ଓ ଆମ୍ଭ ମନୋନୀତ ଲୋକମାନେ ଦୀର୍ଘକାଳ ପର୍ୟ୍ଯନ୍ତ ନିଜ ହସ୍ତକୃତ କର୍ମଫଳ ଭୋଗ କରିବେ।
23 ସମାନେେ ଅନିଯମିତ ପରିଶ୍ରମ କରିବେ ନାହିଁ। ସମାନେେ ବିନାଶ ପାଇଁ ଦବୈ ନିୟୁକ୍ତ ସନ୍ତାନ ପ୍ରସବ କରିବେ ନାହିଁ। ସମାନେେ ଓ ସମାନଙ୍କେର ସନ୍ତାନଗଣ ଆଶୀର୍ବାଦ ପାତ୍ରର ପରିବାରରୁ ହବେେ।
24 ପୁଣି ସମାନେେ ଡ଼ାକିବା ପୂର୍ବରୁ ଆମ୍ଭେ ଉତ୍ତର ଦବୋ ଓ ସମାନେେ କଥା କହୁ କହୁ ଆମ୍ଭେ ଶୁଣିବା।
25 ଗଧିଆ ଓ ମେଣ୍ଢାଛୁଆ ଏକତ୍ର ରହିବେ, ସିଂହ ଗୋରୁପଲ ପରି ନଡ଼ା ଖାଇବ। ପୁଣି ଧୂଳି ସର୍ପର ଖାଦ୍ୟ ହବେ। ସମାନେେ ଆମ୍ଭ ପବିତ୍ର ପର୍ବତ ରେ କୌଣସି ସ୍ଥାନ ରେ ହିଂସା କି ବିନାଶ କରିବେ ନାହିଁ। ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଏହା କୁହନ୍ତି।
1 I am sought of them that asked not for me; I am found of them that sought me not: I said, Behold me, behold me, unto a nation that was not called by my name.
2 I have spread out my hands all the day unto a rebellious people, which walketh in a way that was not good, after their own thoughts;
3 A people that provoketh me to anger continually to my face; that sacrificeth in gardens, and burneth incense upon altars of brick;
4 Which remain among the graves, and lodge in the monuments, which eat swine’s flesh, and broth of abominable things is in their vessels;
5 Which say, Stand by thyself, come not near to me; for I am holier than thou. These are a smoke in my nose, a fire that burneth all the day.
6 Behold, it is written before me: I will not keep silence, but will recompense, even recompense into their bosom,
7 Your iniquities, and the iniquities of your fathers together, saith the Lord, which have burned incense upon the mountains, and blasphemed me upon the hills: therefore will I measure their former work into their bosom.
8 Thus saith the Lord, As the new wine is found in the cluster, and one saith, Destroy it not; for a blessing is in it: so will I do for my servants’ sakes, that I may not destroy them all.
9 And I will bring forth a seed out of Jacob, and out of Judah an inheritor of my mountains: and mine elect shall inherit it, and my servants shall dwell there.
10 And Sharon shall be a fold of flocks, and the valley of Achor a place for the herds to lie down in, for my people that have sought me.
11 But ye are they that forsake the Lord, that forget my holy mountain, that prepare a table for that troop, and that furnish the drink offering unto that number.
12 Therefore will I number you to the sword, and ye shall all bow down to the slaughter: because when I called, ye did not answer; when I spake, ye did not hear; but did evil before mine eyes, and did choose that wherein I delighted not.
13 Therefore thus saith the Lord God, Behold, my servants shall eat, but ye shall be hungry: behold, my servants shall drink, but ye shall be thirsty: behold, my servants shall rejoice, but ye shall be ashamed:
14 Behold, my servants shall sing for joy of heart, but ye shall cry for sorrow of heart, and shall howl for vexation of spirit.
15 And ye shall leave your name for a curse unto my chosen: for the Lord God shall slay thee, and call his servants by another name:
16 That he who blesseth himself in the earth shall bless himself in the God of truth; and he that sweareth in the earth shall swear by the God of truth; because the former troubles are forgotten, and because they are hid from mine eyes.
17 For, behold, I create new heavens and a new earth: and the former shall not be remembered, nor come into mind.
18 But be ye glad and rejoice for ever in that which I create: for, behold, I create Jerusalem a rejoicing, and her people a joy.
19 And I will rejoice in Jerusalem, and joy in my people: and the voice of weeping shall be no more heard in her, nor the voice of crying.
20 There shall be no more thence an infant of days, nor an old man that hath not filled his days: for the child shall die an hundred years old; but the sinner being an hundred years old shall be accursed.
21 And they shall build houses, and inhabit them; and they shall plant vineyards, and eat the fruit of them.
22 They shall not build, and another inhabit; they shall not plant, and another eat: for as the days of a tree are the days of my people, and mine elect shall long enjoy the work of their hands.
23 They shall not labour in vain, nor bring forth for trouble; for they are the seed of the blessed of the Lord, and their offspring with them.
24 And it shall come to pass, that before they call, I will answer; and while they are yet speaking, I will hear.
25 The wolf and the lamb shall feed together, and the lion shall eat straw like the bullock: and dust shall be the serpent’s meat. They shall not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain, saith the Lord.
Isaiah 51 in Tamil and English
1 ହେ ଧର୍ମାଚାରୀଗଣ, ହେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ଅନ୍ବଷେଣକାରୀଗଣ। ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ଆମ୍ଭର କଥା ଶୁଣ ; ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ଯେଉଁ ଶୈଳରୁ କଟା ହାଇେଥିଲ ଓ ଯେଉଁ ଗର୍ତ୍ତରୁ ଚ୍ଛଦରେୁ ଖୋଳା ହାଇେଥିଲା, ତାହା ପ୍ରତି ଦୃଷ୍ଟିପାତ କର।
Hearken to me, ye that follow after righteousness, ye that seek the Lord: look unto the rock whence ye are hewn, and to the hole of the pit whence ye are digged.
2 ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ପିତା ଅବ୍ରହାମ ଓ ଜନ୍ମଦାତ୍ରୀ ସାରା ପ୍ରତି ଦୃଷ୍ଟି ଦିଅ। ସେ ଯେତବେେଳେ ଏକାକୀ ଥିଲା ଆମ୍ଭେ ତାହାକୁ ଆହ୍ବାନ କଲୁ। ଆମ୍ଭେ ଆଶୀର୍ବାଦ କରି ତାକୁ ବହୁ ବଂଶ କଲୁ।
Look unto Abraham your father, and unto Sarah that bare you: for I called him alone, and blessed him, and increased him.
3 ସହେିପରି ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ସିୟୋନକୁ ଆଶୀର୍ବାଦ କରିବେ ; ସେ ତାହାର ଉପଦ୍ରୁତ ସ୍ଥାନଗୁଡ଼ିକ ପାଇଁ ଦୁଃଖିତ ହବେେ। ସେ ତାହାର ପ୍ରାନ୍ତରକୁ ଏଦନ ତୁଲ୍ଯ ଓ ତାହାର ମରୁଭୂମିକୁ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ଉଦ୍ୟାନ ତୁଲ୍ଯ କରିବେ। ତାହାର ଲୋକମାନେ ଆନନ୍ଦିତ ଓ ଉଲ୍ଲସିତ ହବେେ ଏବଂ ସଙ୍ଗୀତ ଧ୍ବନି କରି ଧନ୍ଯବାଦ ଦବେେ।
For the Lord shall comfort Zion: he will comfort all her waste places; and he will make her wilderness like Eden, and her desert like the garden of the Lord; joy and gladness shall be found therein, thanksgiving, and the voice of melody.
4 ହେ ଆମ୍ଭର ଲୋକମାନେ, ଆମ୍ଭ ବାକ୍ଯ ରେ ଅବଧାନ କର ; ହେ ଆମ୍ଭର ଦେଶୀଯ ଲୋକମାନେ, ଆମ୍ଭ କଥା ରେ କର୍ଣ୍ଣପାତ କର। ଆମ୍ଭଠାରୁ ଏକ ବ୍ଯବସ୍ଥା ନିର୍ଗତ ହବେ ଓ ଆମ୍ଭେ ଗୋଷ୍ଠୀବର୍ଗର ଦୀପ୍ତି ନିମନ୍ତେ ଆମ୍ଭର ବିଚାର ସ୍ଥାପନ କରିବା।
Hearken unto me, my people; and give ear unto me, O my nation: for a law shall proceed from me, and I will make my judgment to rest for a light of the people.
5 ଆମ୍ଭର ଧର୍ମ ନିକଟବର୍ତ୍ତୀ, ଆମ୍ଭର ପରିତ୍ରାଣ ନିର୍ଗତ ହାଇେଅଛି ଓ ଆମ୍ଭର ବାହୁ ଗୋଷ୍ଠୀବର୍ଗର ବିଚାର କରିବ। ଦ୍ବୀପଗଣ ଆମ୍ଭ ଅପେକ୍ଷା ରେ ରହିବେ ଓ ଆମ୍ଭର ପରାକ୍ରମ ରେ ଆଶା ରଖିବେ।
My righteousness is near; my salvation is gone forth, and mine arms shall judge the people; the isles shall wait upon me, and on mine arm shall they trust.
6 ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ସ୍ବର୍ଗମଣ୍ଡଳ ପ୍ରତି ଉର୍ଦ୍ଧ୍ବଦୃଷ୍ଟି କର ଓ ଅଧଃସ୍ଥିତ ଭୂମଣ୍ଡଳ ପ୍ରତି ନିରୀକ୍ଷଣ କର। କାରଣ ଆକାଶ ମଣ୍ଡଳ ଧୂମ ତୁଲ୍ଯ ଅନ୍ତର୍ହିତ ହବେ ଓ ଭୂମଣ୍ଡଳ ବସ୍ତୁ ତୁଲ୍ଯ ଜୀର୍ଣ୍ଣ ହବେ। ଆଉ ମଧ୍ଯ ପୃଥିବୀବାସୀ ସହେିପରି ମୃତ୍ଯୁବରଣ କରିବେ। ମାତ୍ର ଆମ୍ଭର ପରିତ୍ରାଣ ଅନନ୍ତକାଳସ୍ଥାଯୀ ହବେ ଓ ଆମ୍ଭର ଧର୍ମାଚାର ଲୁପ୍ତ ହବେ ନାହିଁ।
Lift up your eyes to the heavens, and look upon the earth beneath: for the heavens shall vanish away like smoke, and the earth shall wax old like a garment, and they that dwell therein shall die in like manner: but my salvation shall be for ever, and my righteousness shall not be abolished.
7 ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଯେଉଁମାନଙ୍କୁ ଯଥାର୍ଥ ଜାଣ। ଯେଉଁ ଲୋକମାନେ ମାରେ ଶିକ୍ଷା ହୃଦଯ ରେ ଧରି ରଖନ୍ତି, ଦୟାକରି ମାେ କଥା ଶୁଣ, ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ଦୁଷ୍ଟ ଲୋକଙ୍କ ଅପମାନ ରେ ଭୟଭୀତ ହୁଅ ନାହିଁ।
Hearken unto me, ye that know righteousness, the people in whose heart is my law; fear ye not the reproach of men, neither be ye afraid of their revilings.
8 କାରଣ ସମାନେେ ଜୀର୍ଣ୍ଣ ବସ୍ତୁ ସଦୃଶ ଓ କୀଟ ସମାନଙ୍କେୁ ଖାଇ ପକାଇବ ଓ ପୋକ ପଶମ ବସ୍ତୁକୁ ଖାଇଲା ପରି ସମାନଙ୍କେୁ ଖାଇ ପକାଇବ। ମାତ୍ର ଆମ୍ଭର ଧର୍ମ ଅନନ୍ତକାଳସ୍ଥାଯୀ ହବେ ଓ ଆମ୍ଭର ପରିତ୍ରାଣ ଚିରକାଳ ବିରାଜିତ ହବେ।
For the moth shall eat them up like a garment, and the worm shall eat them like wool: but my righteousness shall be for ever, and my salvation from generation to generation.
9 ହେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ବାହୁ, ଉଠ, ଜାଗ୍ରତ ହୁଅ। ବଳ ଧାରଣ କର। ଯେପରି ପୂର୍ବକାଳ ରେ ଓ ପ୍ରାଚୀନକାଳର ପୁରୁଷ ପରମ୍ପରା ସମୟରେ ଉଠିଥିଲ, ସହେିପରି ଜାଗ। ରାହବକୁ ଯେ ଖଣ୍ଡ ଖଣ୍ଡ କରି କାଟିଥିଲେ ଓ ନାଗକୁ ଯେ ବିଦ୍ଧ କରିଥିଲେ, ସହେି ପ୍ରଭୁ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ନୁହଁ କି ?
Awake, awake, put on strength, O arm of the Lord; awake, as in the ancient days, in the generations of old. Art thou not it that hath cut Rahab, and wounded the dragon?
10 ଯେ ସମୁଦ୍ରକୁ ଓ ଗଭୀରତମ ବାରିଧିର ଜଳରାଶିକୁ ଶୁଷ୍କ କଲେ, ଯେ ମୁକ୍ତିପ୍ରାପ୍ତ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କର ପାର ହବୋ ପାଇଁ ସମୁଦ୍ରର ଗଭୀରତମ ସ୍ଥାନ ପଥ କଲେ, ସହେି ପ୍ରଭୁ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ନୁହଁ କି ?
Art thou not it which hath dried the sea, the waters of the great deep; that hath made the depths of the sea a way for the ransomed to pass over?
11 ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ନିସ୍ତାରିତ ଲୋକମାନେ ଫରେି ଆସିବେ, ଆନନ୍ଦ ଗାନ କରି ସିୟୋନ ରେ ଉପସ୍ଥିତ ହବେେ। ଚିର ଆନନ୍ଦ ସମାନଙ୍କେର ମସ୍ତକର ଭୂଷଣ ହବେ। ସମାନେେ ଆନନ୍ଦ ଓ ଉଲ୍ଲାସ ପ୍ରାପ୍ତ ହବେେ ଏବଂ ଦୁଃଖ ଶାେକ ସୁଦୂରଗାମୀ ହବେ।
Therefore the redeemed of the Lord shall return, and come with singing unto Zion; and everlasting joy shall be upon their head: they shall obtain gladness and joy; and sorrow and mourning shall flee away.
12 ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ କୁହନ୍ତି, ଆମ୍ଭେ ହେଉଛୁ ସହେି ଯେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ସାନ୍ତ୍ବନା ଦିଅନ୍ତି, ତବେେ ତୁମ୍ଭେ କାହିଁକି ମରଣଶୀଳ ମାନବ ଯେ କି ତୃଣତୁଲ୍ଯ ଏପରି ମାନବର ସନ୍ତାନକୁ ଭୟ କରୁଅଛ ?'
I, even I, am he that comforteth you: who art thou, that thou shouldest be afraid of a man that shall die, and of the son of man which shall be made as grass;
13 ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଯେ ଏହି ଆକାଶମଣ୍ଡଳ ବିସ୍ତାର କରି ଅଛନ୍ତି, ପୃଥିବୀର ଭିତ୍ତିମୂଳ ସ୍ଥାପନ କରିଅଛନ୍ତି ଓ ତୁମ୍ଭର ନିର୍ମାଣକର୍ତ୍ତା, ତୁମ୍ଭେ ତାଙ୍କୁ ଭୁଲିଅଛ। ତେଣୁ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଦିନୟାକ ନିରନ୍ତର ସମାନଙ୍କେୁ ଭୟ କରୁଛ ଯେ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ବିନାଶ କରିବାକୁ ଉଦ୍ଯତ ହାଇେ କୋପ କରିଛନ୍ତି। ମାତ୍ର ସହେି ଉପଦ୍ରବକାରୀ ଏବେ କାହାଁନ୍ତି ଓ ତାଙ୍କର କୋପ କାହିଁ ?
And forgettest the Lord thy maker, that hath stretched forth the heavens, and laid the foundations of the earth; and hast feared continually every day because of the fury of the oppressor, as if he were ready to destroy? and where is the fury of the oppressor?
14 ନିର୍ବାସିତ ବନ୍ଦୀ ଶୀଘ୍ର ମୁକ୍ତ ହବେ। ପୁଣି ସେ ମରି ଗର୍ତ୍ତକୁ ୟିବ ନାହିଁ। କିମ୍ବା ତାହାର ଖାଦ୍ୟର ଅଭାବ ହବେ ନାହିଁ।
The captive exile hasteneth that he may be loosed, and that he should not die in the pit, nor that his bread should fail.
15 ତରଙ୍ଗଗୁଡ଼ିକୁ ଗର୍ଜନ କରିବାକୁ ଯେ ସମୁଦ୍ରକୁ ଆଲୋଡ଼ିତ କରନ୍ତି। ଆମ୍ଭେ ସହେି ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ତୁମ୍ଭ ପରମେଶ୍ବର ଅଟୁ।' ତାଙ୍କର ନାମ ସର୍ବଶକ୍ତିମାନ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ।
But I am the Lord thy God, that divided the sea, whose waves roared: The Lord of hosts is his name.
16 ହେ ମାରେ ସବେକ ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲ, ଆମ୍ଭେ ତୁମ୍ଭ ମୁଖ ରେ ଆମ୍ଭର ବାକ୍ଯ ରଖିଅଛୁ ଓ ଆମ୍ଭର ହସ୍ତର ଛାଯା ରେ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ଆଚ୍ଛାଦନ କରିଅଛୁ। ତୁମ୍ଭେ ସିୟୋନକୁ ଏହା କହିବ ଯେ ଆମ୍ଭେ ସ୍ବର୍ଗମଣ୍ଡଳ ରୋପଣ କରିଅଛୁ ଓ ପୃଥିବୀର ଭିତ୍ତିମୂଳ ସ୍ଥାପନ କରିଅଛୁ, ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ମାରେ ସନ୍ତାନ।'
And I have put my words in thy mouth, and I have covered thee in the shadow of mine hand, that I may plant the heavens, and lay the foundations of the earth, and say unto Zion, Thou art my people.
17 ହେ ୟିରୁଶାଲମ, ଉଠ, ଜାଗ, ଛିଡ଼ାହୁଅ, କାରଣ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ତୁମ୍ଭ ଉପ ରେ କୋପ କରିଛନ୍ତି। ତେଣୁ ସେ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ଦଣ୍ଡ ଦଇେଛନ୍ତି। ସେ ଦଣ୍ଡ ଏକ ମଦପାତ୍ର ସଦୃଶ ଓ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ତାହା ପାନ କରିଛି। ତୁମ୍ଭେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ହସ୍ତରୁ କୋପରୂପ ପାନପାତ୍ର ନଇେ ତାହାକୁ ଶଷେ କରିଅଛ।
Awake, awake, stand up, O Jerusalem, which hast drunk at the hand of the Lord the cup of his fury; thou hast drunken the dregs of the cup of trembling, and wrung them out.
18 ୟିରୁଶାଲମ ଅନକେ ସନ୍ତାନ ଜନ୍ମ ଦଇେଛି, ମାତ୍ର ସମାନଙ୍କେ ମଧିଅରେ ତାକୁ ବାଟ କଢ଼ାଇ ନବୋକୁ କହେି ନାହାଁନ୍ତି। ପୁଣି ସେ ଯେଉଁ ସନ୍ତାନଗଣଙ୍କୁ ପାଳନ କରିଅଛି, ସମାନଙ୍କେ ମଧିଅରେ କହେି ତାହା ହାତଧରି ନବୋ ପାଇଁ ନାହାଁନ୍ତି।
There is none to guide her among all the sons whom she hath brought forth; neither is there any that taketh her by the hand of all the sons that she hath brought up.
19 ଦୁଇଟି ବିଷଯ ତୁମ୍ଭ ପ୍ରତି ଘଟିଅଛି, ଶୂନ୍ଯତା ଓ ବିନାଶ ଏବଂ ଦୁର୍ଭିକ୍ଷ ଓ ଖଡ୍ଗ।
These two things are come unto thee; who shall be sorry for thee? desolation, and destruction, and the famine, and the sword: by whom shall I comfort thee?
20 ତୁମ୍ଭର ସନ୍ତାନଗଣ ମୂର୍ଚ୍ଛିତ ହାଇେଅଛନ୍ତି। ସମାନେେ ପ୍ରେତ୍ୟକକ ସଡ଼କ ମୁଣ୍ଡ ରେ ପଡ଼ିଛନ୍ତି ଯେପରି ହରିଣ ଜାଲ ପାଶ ରେ ଆବଦ୍ଧ ହୁଏ। ସମାନେେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ କୋପ ରେ ଓ ତୁମ୍ଭ ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କ ଧମକରେ ପରିପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ।
Thy sons have fainted, they lie at the head of all the streets, as a wild bull in a net: they are full of the fury of the Lord, the rebuke of thy God.
21 ଏଣୁକରି ଦୟାକରି ଏହା ଶୁଣ, ହେ ୟିରୁଶାଲମ, ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଦ୍ରାକ୍ଷାରସର କୁହୁକରେ ମତ୍ତ ନୁହଁ, କିନ୍ତୁ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ମତ୍ତୁଆଲା ଅଟ।
Therefore hear now this, thou afflicted, and drunken, but not with wine:
22 ତୁମ୍ଭ ପ୍ରଭୁ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଯେ କି ନିଜ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କର ସପକ୍ଷ ରେ ସହେି ପରମେଶ୍ବର ଏହି କଥା କୁହନ୍ତି, ଦେଖ, ଆମ୍ଭେ କୋପରୂପକ ପାନପାତ୍ର' ତୁମ୍ଭ ହସ୍ତରୁ କାଢ଼ି ନଇେ ଅଛୁ। ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଆଉ ପାନ କରିବ ନାହିଁ ଅର୍ଥାତ୍ ଆମ୍ଭେ ଆଉ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ଦଣ୍ଡ ଦବେୁ ନାହିଁ।
Thus saith thy Lord the Lord, and thy God that pleadeth the cause of his people, Behold, I have taken out of thine hand the cup of trembling, even the dregs of the cup of my fury; thou shalt no more drink it again:
23 ଯେଉଁମାନେ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ କ୍ଲେଶ ଦଇେଛନ୍ତି, ସହେିମାନଙ୍କ ବିପକ୍ଷ ରେ ଆମ୍ଭେ ୟିବା। ସମାନେେ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ କହିଛନ୍ତି, ତୁମ୍ଭେ ନଇଁପଡ଼, ଆମ୍ଭେ ତୁମ୍ଭ ଉପ ରେ ଗମନ କରିବୁ।' ପୁଣ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ଭୂମି ଓ ସଡ଼କପରି ପିଠି ପାତି ଦଇେଛ ଏବଂ ସମାନେେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ଉପ ରେ ଗମନାଗମନ କରିଛନ୍ତି।
But I will put it into the hand of them that afflict thee; which have said to thy soul, Bow down, that we may go over: and thou hast laid thy body as the ground, and as the street, to them that went over.
