Joshua 8:2
ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଅଯପ୍ରତି ସହେିପରି କର ଯେପରି ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଯିରୀହାେ ଓ ତା'ର ରାଜା ପ୍ରତି କରିଥିଲ। ମାତ୍ର ଏଥର ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଆପଣା ପାଇଁ ସମାନଙ୍କେର ଧନ, ଦୌଲତ୍ ଓ ପଶକ୍ସ୍ଟମାନଙ୍କୁ, ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ଭିତ ରେ ବାଣ୍ଟି ନବେ। ବର୍ତ୍ତମାନ କିଛି ସୈନ୍ଯଗଣଙ୍କକ୍ସ୍ଟ ନଗର ପଛପଟେ ଲକ୍ସ୍ଟଗ୍ଭଇ ରଖ।

| didst thou | עָשִׂ֤יתָ | ʿāśîtā | ah-SEE-ta |
| unto Jericho | לִֽירִיחוֹ֙ | lîrîḥô | lee-ree-HOH |
| king: her and | וּלְמַלְכָּ֔הּ | ûlĕmalkāh | oo-leh-mahl-KA |
| only | רַק | raq | rahk |
| the spoil | שְׁלָלָ֥הּ | šĕlālāh | sheh-la-LA |
| cattle the and thereof, | וּבְהֶמְתָּ֖הּ | ûbĕhemtāh | oo-veh-hem-TA |
| prey a for take ye shall thereof, | תָּבֹ֣זּוּ | tābōzzû | ta-VOH-zoo |
| lay yourselves: unto | לָכֶ֑ם | lākem | la-HEM |
| thee an ambush | שִׂים | śîm | seem |
| for the city | לְךָ֥ | lĕkā | leh-HA |
| behind | אֹרֵ֛ב | ʾōrēb | oh-RAVE |
| it. | לָעִ֖יר | lāʿîr | la-EER |
| מֵאַֽחֲרֶֽיהָ׃ | mēʾaḥărêhā | may-AH-huh-RAY-ha |
