Joshua 8:22
ଏହାପରେ ଯେଉଁ ଲୋକମାନେ ଲକ୍ସ୍ଟଚିଥିଲେ, ସମାନେେ ବାହାରି ଆସିଲେ ଏବଂ ୟକ୍ସ୍ଟଦ୍ଧ କଲେ। ଏହିପରି ଅଯର ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କର ଉଭୟ ପାଶର୍ବ ରେ ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲର ସୈନ୍ଯମାନେ ଜଗି ଗଲେ ଓ ସମାନଙ୍କେୁ ପରାସ୍ତ କଲେ। ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲର ସୈନ୍ଯମାନେ ଅଯର ଗୋଟିଏ ସୈନ୍ଯକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ମଧ୍ଯ ଛାଡିଲେ ନାହିଁ।

| of Israel, | בַּתָּ֔וֶךְ | battāwek | ba-TA-vek |
| some | אֵ֥לֶּה | ʾēlle | A-leh |
| side, this on | מִזֶּ֖ה | mizze | mee-ZEH |
| and some | וְאֵ֣לֶּה | wĕʾēlle | veh-A-leh |
| side: that on | מִזֶּ֑ה | mizze | mee-ZEH |
| and they smote | וַיַּכּ֣וּ | wayyakkû | va-YA-koo |
| that so them, | אוֹתָ֔ם | ʾôtām | oh-TAHM |
