ସହେି ସମୟରେ ସବହେ ଓ ସଲ୍ମକ୍ସ୍ଟନ୍ନ କର୍କୋର ନଗର ରେ ଥିଲେ। ସମାନଙ୍କେ ସହିତ 15,000 ସୈନ୍ଯ ଥିଲେ। ଏହି ସୈନ୍ଯମାନେ, ଯେଉଁମାନେ ପୂର୍ବ ଦେଶୀଯ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କର ସୈନ୍ଯବାହୀନି ରେ ରହିଥିଲେ। 1,20,000 ଜଣ ଶକ୍ତିଶାଳୀ ସୈନ୍ଯ ପୁରାପୁରି ମୃତକ୍ସ୍ଟ୍ଯବରଣ କରିଥିଲେ।
