ଆଉ ଏକ ସମୟରେ ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲର ଲୋକମାନେ ପଲେଷ୍ଟୀୟ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କ ସହିତ ଆଉଥରେ ୟୁଦ୍ଧ କଲେ। ୟାଯୀରଙ୍କ ପୁତ୍ର ଇଲହାନନ୍ ଲହମି କି ବଧ କଲେ। ଲହମି ଗଲିଯାତର ଭ୍ରାତା ଥିଲେ। ଗଲିଯାତ ଗାଥ ସହରବାସୀ ଥିଲେ। ଲହମିଙ୍କ ବର୍ଚ୍ଛା ବହୁତ ବଡ଼ ଓ ଭାରୀ ଥିଲା। ତାହା ଗୋଟିଏ ଲୁଗାତନ୍ତ ଉପରେ ଲାଗିଥିବା ବିରାଟ ଖମ୍ବ ସଦୃଶ ଥିଲା।

ଆଉ ଏକ ସମୟରେ ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲର ଲୋକମାନେ ପଲେଷ୍ଟୀୟ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କ ସହିତ ଆଉଥରେ ୟୁଦ୍ଧ କଲେ। ୟାଯୀରଙ୍କ ପୁତ୍ର ଇଲହାନନ୍ ଲହମି କି ବଧ କଲେ। ଲହମି ଗଲିଯାତର ଭ୍ରାତା ଥିଲେ। ଗଲିଯାତ ଗାଥ ସହରବାସୀ ଥିଲେ। ଲହମିଙ୍କ ବର୍ଚ୍ଛା ବହୁତ ବଡ଼ ଓ ଭାରୀ ଥିଲା। ତାହା ଗୋଟିଏ ଲୁଗାତନ୍ତ ଉପରେ ଲାଗିଥିବା ବିରାଟ ଖମ୍ବ ସଦୃଶ ଥିଲା।
