ଲୋକମାନେ ଦାଉଦଙ୍କକ୍ସ୍ଟ କହିଲେ, ଦେଖ, ପଲେଷ୍ଟୀୟମାନେ କିଯୀଲାମାନଙ୍କ ବିରକ୍ସ୍ଟଦ୍ଧ ରେ ଲଢକ୍ସ୍ଟଛନ୍ତି ଓ ଖଳାରକ୍ସ୍ଟ ଶସ୍ଯ ଗ୍ଭରେି କରୁଛନ୍ତି।

ଯଦି ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ତାହା କର, ତବେେ ଆମ୍ଭେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ପ୍ରତି ଭୟଙ୍କର ଅଘଟଣ ଘଟାଇବା। ଆମ୍ଭେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ପ୍ରତି ୟକ୍ଷ୍ମା ଓ ଜ୍ବର ନିରୂପଣ କରିବା, ତାହା ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ଚକ୍ଷୁ କ୍ଷୀଣ କରିବ, ପ୍ରାଣ କ୍ଷଯ କରିବ। ଆଉ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ବୃଥା ରେ ବୀଜ ବୁଣିବ, କାରଣ ଶତୃମାନେ ତାକୁ ଖାଇଯିବେ।

ତୁମ୍ଭେ ତୁମ୍ଭର କଠିନ ପରିଶ୍ରମ କରିଥିବା ଫଳ ଅନ୍ୟମାନେ ନଇେଯିବେ। ଏବଂ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ସର୍ବଦା କବଳେ ଉପଦ୍ରବ ଗ୍ରସ୍ତ ଓ ନିର୍ୟ୍ଯାତନା ଭୋଗ କରିବ।

ସମାନେେ ତୁମ୍ଭର ପଶକ୍ସ୍ଟ ଓ ବଢିଥିବା ଶସ୍ଯ ନଇେଯିବେ। ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ଧ୍ବଂସ କରିବା ପର୍ୟ୍ଯନ୍ତ ସମାନେେ ସମସ୍ତ ଦ୍ରବ୍ଯ ନଇେଯିବେ। ସମାନେେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ପାଇଁ କୌଣସି ଶସ୍ଯ ରଖିବେ ନାହିଁ। ମଦ, ତଲେ, ଗାଈ, ମଷେ କିଅବା ଛଳେି ଅବଶିଷ୍ଟ କିଛି ରଖିବେ ନାହିଁ। ସମାନେେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ତଳିତଳାନ୍ତ କରିବା ପର୍ୟ୍ଯନ୍ତ ସମସ୍ତ ଦ୍ରବ୍ଯ ସମାନେେ ନଇେଯିବେ।

ସମାନେେ ଛାଉଣୀ ସ୍ଥାପନ କରି ଘାସା ପର୍ୟ୍ଯନ୍ତ ଭୂମିଜାତ ଶସ୍ଯାଦି ବିନାଶ କରନ୍ତି। ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲର ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କର ଖାଇବା ପାଇଁ କିଛି ଛାଡିଲେ ନାହିଁ। ଏପରିକି ସମାନେେ ମଷେ, ଗୋରୁ କିମ୍ବା ଗଧ କିଛି ଛାଡିଲେ ନାହିଁ।

ଏହାପରେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କର ଦୂତ ଆସି ଅବୀଯେଷ୍ରୀଯ ଯୋୟାସର ଅଧିକାର ସ୍ଥିତି ଅଫ୍ରା ରେ ଅଲୋନ୍ ବୃକ୍ଷ ମୂଳ ରେ ବସିଲେ। ସହେି ସମୟରେ ତା'ର ପକ୍ସ୍ଟତ୍ର ଗିଦ୍ଦଯୋନ ଦ୍ରାକ୍ଷାକକ୍ସ୍ଟଣ୍ତ ରେ ଗହମ ଝାଡକ୍ସ୍ଟଥିଲେ। ସେ ଏଥିପାଇଁ ଲକ୍ସ୍ଟଚକ୍ସ୍ଟଥିଲେ ଯେ, ମିଦିଯନୀଯମାନେ ଯେପରି ଗହମ ନ ଦବେେ।

ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଯଦିଓ ଶସ୍ଯ ବୁଣିବ କିନ୍ତୁ ଫସଲ ଅମଳ କରିବ ନାହିଁ। ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଅଲିଭ ଫଳ ପଷେିବ ମାତ୍ର ତୈଳ ମର୍ଦ୍ଦନ ପାଇଁ ପାଇବ ନାହିଁ। ଯଦିଓ ଦ୍ରାକ୍ଷାଫଳ ପଷେିବ, ଦ୍ରାକ୍ଷାରସ ପାନୀଯ ପାଇଁ ପାଇବ ନାହିଁ।
