ଶଲୋମନ ତାଙ୍କ ପିତା ଦାଉଦଙ୍କର ଦତ୍ତ ନିର୍ଦ୍ଦଶାେବଳିକୁ ପାଳନ କଲେ। ଶଲୋମନ ଯାଜକମାନଙ୍କର ଦଳକୁ ସମାନଙ୍କେର ସବୋକାର୍ୟ୍ଯ ନିମନ୍ତେ ମନୋନୀତ କଲେ। ଶଲୋମନ ଲବେୀୟମାନଙ୍କୁ ମଧ୍ଯ ସମାନଙ୍କେର ସବୋକାର୍ୟ୍ଯ ନିମନ୍ତେ ମନୋନୀତ କଲେ। ଲବେୀୟମାନଙ୍କର କାର୍ୟ୍ଯ ଥିଲା ପ୍ରଶଂସା ଗାନ ରେ ନତେୃତ୍ବ ଦବୋ ଓ ମନ୍ଦିରର ସବୋକାର୍ୟ୍ଯ ନିମନ୍ତେ ଦୈନନ୍ଦିନ ଯେଉଁ ବିଷଯମାନ କରାୟାଏ, ସେଥି ରେ ଯାଜକମାନଙ୍କୁ ସାହାୟ୍ଯ କରିବା। ଆଉ ଶଲୋମନ ଦ୍ବାର ନିକଟରେ ସବୋକାର୍ୟ୍ଯ କରିବା ନିମନ୍ତେ ଦ୍ବାରପାଳମାନଙ୍କୁ ସମାନଙ୍କେର ଦଳ ଅନୁୟାଯୀ ମନୋନୀତ କଲେ। ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କ ଲୋକ ଦାଉଦ ତାକୁ ଏହା କରିବା ପାଇଁ ନିର୍ଦ୍ଦଶେ ଦଇେଥିଲେ।
