ଆଉ ରାଜା ପଚାରିଲେ, ତୁମ୍ଭର ଦୁଃଖ କ'ଣ?

| said | הָֽאִשָּׁ֨ה | hāʾiššâ | ha-ee-SHA |
| unto | הַזֹּ֜את | hazzōt | ha-ZOTE |
| me, Give | אָֽמְרָ֣ה | ʾāmĕrâ | ah-meh-RA |
| אֵלַ֗י | ʾēlay | ay-LAI | |
| thy son, | תְּנִ֤י | tĕnî | teh-NEE |
| that we may eat | אֶת | ʾet | et |
| day, to him | בְּנֵךְ֙ | bĕnēk | beh-nake |
| and we will eat | וְנֹֽאכְלֶ֣נּוּ | wĕnōʾkĕlennû | veh-noh-heh-LEH-noo |
| my son | הַיּ֔וֹם | hayyôm | HA-yome |
