Judges 14:6
ଶାମ୍ଶାେନ୍ ନିକଟକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କର ଆତ୍ମା ଆସିବା କ୍ଷଣି ସେ ଶକ୍ତିଶାଳୀ ହବୋକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ଲାଗିଲେ। ଏହାପରେ ସେ ଖାଲି ହାତ ରେ ଛଳେି ଛକ୍ସ୍ଟଆକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ଚିରିଲା ପରି ସହେି ସିଂହକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ଚିରି ବିଦୀର୍ଣ୍ଣ କରି ପକାଇଲେ। ସେ କ'ଣ କରିଛନ୍ତି, ସେ ତାଙ୍କ ପିତାମାତାଙ୍କୁ କିଛି ସେ ବିଷଯ ରେ କହିଲେ ନାହିଁ।

ଶାଉଲ ସମସ୍ତ କଥା ଶୁଣିଲେ। ତା'ପରେ ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କ ଆତ୍ମା ଶାଉଲଙ୍କ ଦହେ ରେ ଅତିଶଯ ପ୍ରଜ୍ବଳିତ ହେଲା। ଶାଉଲ କୋର୍ଧ ରେ ଜର୍ଜରିତ ହେଲେ।

ସେ କହିଲେ, ଏହା ୟିରୁଦ୍ଦାବିଲଙ୍କ ପ୍ରତି ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ବାର୍ତ୍ତା, 'ଏହା ପରାକ୍ରମ କି ବଳଦ୍ବାରା ନୁହେଁ, ଆମ୍ଭର ଆତ୍ମାରୁ ଆସିବ।' ସର୍ବଶକ୍ତିମାନ୍ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଏହା କୁହନ୍ତି।

ପକ୍ସ୍ଟଣି ଶାମ୍ଶାେନ୍ କହିଲେ, ପଲେଷ୍ଟୀୟମାନଙ୍କ ସହିତ ମାରେ ପ୍ରାଣ ଯାଉ। ଏହାକହି ସେ ସ୍ତମ୍ଭଗକ୍ସ୍ଟଡିକ ତାଙ୍କର ସମସ୍ତବଳ ଖଟାଇ ପଲେି ଦେଲେ। ଛାତଟି ପଡିଗଲା ଓ ସଠାେରେ ଏକତ୍ରୀତ ହାଇେଥିବା ସମସ୍ତ ଲୋକ ମୃତକ୍ସ୍ଟ୍ଯବରଣ କଲେ। ଏହିପରି ତାହାର ଜୀବନ କାଳ ରେ ହତ୍ଯା କରିଥିବା ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କର ସଂଖ୍ଯା ଅପେକ୍ଷା ତାହାର ମରଣ କାଳର ହତ୍ଯା କରିଥିବା ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କର ସଂଖ୍ଯା ଅଧିକ ଥିଲା।
ବିଚାରକର୍ତାମାନଙ୍କ ବିବରଣ 15:15
ଶାମ୍ଶାେନ୍ ଗୋଟିଏ ଗଧର କଞ୍ଚା ଥମାେଣି ପାଇଲେ ସେ ସେଥି ରେ ସଠାେରେ ଥିବା 1,000 ପଲେଷ୍ଟୀୟମାନଙ୍କୁ ହତ୍ଯା କଲେ।

ଏହାପରେ ଶାମ୍ଶାେନ୍ ପଲେଷ୍ଟୀୟମାନଙ୍କୁ ଆକ୍ରମଣ କଲେ। ସେ ସମାନଙ୍କେ ମଧ୍ଯରକ୍ସ୍ଟ ଅନକଙ୍କେକ୍ସ୍ଟ ହତ୍ଯା କଲେ। ଏବଂ ଏହାପରେ ସେ ଏକ ଗକ୍ସ୍ଟମ୍ଫା ରେ ୟାଇ ବାସ କଲେ ଯେଉଁ ଗକ୍ସ୍ଟମ୍ଫା ରେ ନାମ ଥିଲା ଏଟମ ଶୈଳ।
