Daniel 3 - DBY (Oriya)

1 Nebuchadnezzar the king made an image of gold, whose height was sixty cubits, [and] its breadth six cubits; he set it up in the plain of Dura, in the province of Babylon.ରାଜା ନବୂଖଦ୍ନିତ୍ସର ଷାଠିଏ ହାତ ଉଚ୍ଚ ଓ ଛଅହାତ ପ୍ରସ୍ଥ ଏକ ସୁବର୍ଣ୍ଣମଯ ପ୍ରତିମା ନିର୍ମାଣ କଲା। ସେ ପ୍ରତିମାଟିକୁ ବାବିଲ ପ୍ରଦେଶର ଦୂରା ନାମକ ପଦା ରେ ସ୍ଥାପନ କଲା।

2 And Nebuchadnezzar the king sent to gather together the satraps, the prefects, and the governors, the judges, the treasurers, the counsellors, the justices, and all the rulers of the provinces, to come to the dedication of the image that Nebuchadnezzar the king had set up.ସହେି ପ୍ରତିମା ସ୍ଥାପନର ପ୍ରତିଷ୍ଠା ନିମନ୍ତେ ଆସିବାକୁ ରାଜା ସମସ୍ତ କ୍ଷିତିପାଳ, ରାଜପ୍ରତିନିଧି, ଦଶାେଧ୍ଯକ୍ଷ ବିଗ୍ଭରକର୍ତ୍ତା, କୋଷଧ୍ଯକ୍ଷ, ବ୍ଯବସ୍ଥାପକ, ବବେର୍ତ୍ତା ଓ ପ୍ରାଦେଶିକ ଶାସକଙ୍କୁ ଏକତ୍ର କରିବା ନିମନ୍ତେ ଲୋକ ପ୍ ରରଣେ କଲା।

3 Then the satraps, the prefects, and the governors, the judges, the treasurers, the counsellors, the justices, and all the rulers of the provinces, were gathered together unto the dedication of the image that Nebuchadnezzar the king had set up; and they stood before the image that Nebuchadnezzar had set up.ତେଣୁ ସମାନେେ ରାଜାଙ୍କ ଆହ୍ବାନ ରେ ସମସ୍ତେ ଆସିଲେ ଓ ସ୍ଥାପିତ ପ୍ରତିମାର ପ୍ରତିଷ୍ଠା ଉତ୍ସବ ରେ ଯୋଗ ଦେଲେ। ଆଉ ସମାନେେ ସହେି ସ୍ଥାପିତ ପ୍ରତିମାର ସମ୍ମୁଖ ରେ ଠିଆ ହେଲେ।

4 And the herald cried aloud, To you it is commanded, [O] peoples, nations, and languages,ତା'ପ ରେ ରାଜାଙ୍କର ଜଣେ ଘୋଷକ ଉଚ୍ଚ ସ୍ବର ରେ କହିଲା, ହେ ଲୋକବୃନ୍ଦ, ଗୋଷ୍ଠୀବର୍ଗ ଓ ବିଭିନ୍ନ ଭାଷାବାଦୀଦଳ, ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ଏହି ଆଜ୍ଞା ଦିଆଗଲା।

5 that at what time ye hear the sound of the cornet, pipe, lute, sambuca, psaltery, bagpipe, and all kinds of music, ye fall down and worship the golden image that Nebuchadnezzar the king hath set up;ଯେତବେେଳେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ସମସ୍ତେ ଶିଙ୍ଗା, ବଂଶୀ, ବୀଣା, ଚତୁସ୍ତନ୍ତ୍ରୀ, ନବେଲ ମୃଦଙ୍ଗ ଓ ସବୁପ୍ରକାର ବାଦ୍ଯ ଶୁଣିବ, ସେତବେେଳେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ରାଜା ନବୂଖଦ୍ନିତ୍ସରଙ୍କ ଦ୍ବାରା ସ୍ଥାପିତ ସୁବର୍ଣ୍ଣ ପ୍ରତିମାକୁ ନିଶ୍ଚଯ ପୂଜା କରିବ।

6 and whosoever doth not fall down and worship shall that same hour be cast into the midst of a burning fiery furnace.ପୁଣି ଯେ କହେି ମୁଣ୍ତ ନୁଆଁଇ ପ୍ରଣାମ ନ କରିବ, ସେ ସହେି ମୁହୂର୍ତ୍ତ ରେ ଜ୍ବଳନ୍ତ ଅଗ୍ନିକୁଣ୍ତ ରେ ନିକ୍ଷିପ୍ତ ହବେ।

7 Therefore at that time when all the peoples heard the sound of the cornet, pipe, lute, sambuca, psaltery, and all kinds of music, all the peoples, the nations, and the languages fell down [and] worshipped the golden image that Nebuchadnezzar the king had set up.ଏଣୁ ଯେତବେେଳେ ସମସ୍ତ ଲୋକ ଶିଙ୍ଗା, ବଂଶୀ, ବୀଣା, ଚତୁସ୍ତନ୍ତ୍ରୀ, ବବଲେ ଓ ସବୁପ୍ରକାର ବାଦ୍ଯ ଶୁଣିଲେ ସେତବେେଳେ ସମସ୍ତ ଲୋକ, ଗୋଷ୍ଠୀବର୍ଗ ଓ ଭାଷାବାଦୀମାନେ ରାଜା ନବୂଖଦ୍ନିତ୍ସରଙ୍କ ସ୍ଥାପିତ ପ୍ରତିମା ସମ୍ମୁଖ ରେ ମୁଣ୍ତ ନୁଆଁଇ ପ୍ରଣାମ କଲେ।

8 Whereupon at that time certain Chaldeans came near, and accused the Jews.ସହେି ସମୟରେ କେତକେ କଲଦୀଯ ଲୋକ ରାଜାଙ୍କ ନିକଟକୁ ଆସି ୟିହୁଦୀଯ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କ ବିରୁଦ୍ଧ ରେ ଅପବାଦ ଆଣିଲେ।

9 They spoke and said to the king Nebuchadnezzar, O king, live for ever!ସମାନେେ ନବୂଖଦ୍ନିତ୍ସରଙ୍କୁ ଆଶୀର୍ବାଦ କରି କହିଲେ, ହେ ମହାରାଜ, ଚିରଜୀବି ହୁଅନ୍ତୁ।

10 Thou, O king, hast made a decree, that every man that shall hear the sound of the cornet, pipe, lute, sambuca, psaltery, and bagpipe, and all kinds of music, shall fall down and worship the golden image;ହେ ମହାରାଜ, ଆପଣ ଆଜ୍ଞା କରିଛନ୍ତି ଯେ କହେି ଶିଙ୍ଗା, ବଂଶୀ, ବୀଣା, ଚତୁସ୍ତନ୍ତ୍ରୀ, ନବେଲ, ମୃଦଙ୍ଗ ଓ ସବୁପ୍ରକାର ବାଦ୍ଯ ଶୁଣିବ, ସେ ମୁଣ୍ତ ନୁଆଁଇ ସୁବର୍ଣ୍ଣ ପ୍ରତିମାକୁ ପ୍ରଣାମ କରିବ।

11 and [that] whosoever doth not fall down and worship, shall be cast into the midst of a burning fiery furnace.ପୁଣି ଯେ କୌଣସି ଲୋକ ମୁଣ୍ତ ନୁଆଁଇ ପ୍ରଣାମ ନକରିବ ସେ ଜଳନ୍ତ ଅଗ୍ନିକୁଣ୍ତ ରେ ନିକ୍ଷିପ୍ତ ହବେ।

12 There are certain Jews whom thou hast appointed over the administration of the province of Babylon: Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego: these men, O king, regard thee not; they serve not thy gods, nor worship the golden image that thou hast set up.ଆଉ ଆପଣ ବାବିଲ ପ୍ରଦେଶର ରାଜ କର୍ମ ରେ ନିୟୁକ୍ତ କରିଥିବା କେତକେ ୟିହୁଦୀ ଲୋକ, ଶଦ୍ରକ, ମୈଶକ୍ ଓ ଅବଦନଗେୋ ଯେଉଁମାନେ କି ଆପଣଙ୍କ ଆଜ୍ଞା ପାଳନ କରି ନାହାନ୍ତି। ସମାନେେ ଆପଣଙ୍କ ଦବଗେଣର ସବୋ କରନ୍ତି ନାହିଁ କି ଆପଣଙ୍କ ସ୍ଥାପିତ ସୁବର୍ଣ୍ଣ ପ୍ରତିମାକୁ ପୂଜା କରନ୍ତି ନାହିଁ।

13 Then Nebuchadnezzar in rage and fury commanded to bring Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego. Then were these men brought before the king.ଏହି ସମ୍ବାଦ ଶୁଣି ନବୂଖଦ୍ନିତ୍ସର କୋରଧାନ୍ବିତ ହାଇେ ତାଙ୍କର ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କୁ ଶଦ୍ରକ୍, ମୈଶକ୍ ଓ ଅବେଦ୍-ନଗୋକୁ ଆଣବା ପାଇଁ ପଠାଇଲେ। ତେଣୁ ତାଙ୍କର ଲୋକମାନେ ସମାନଙ୍କେୁ ରାଜାଙ୍କର ବିଗ୍ଭରାଳଯକୁ ଛାମୁକୁ ଆଣିଲେ।

14 Nebuchadnezzar spoke and said unto them, Is it of purpose, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego, that ye serve not my god, nor worship the golden image that I have set up?ଆଉ ନବୂଖଦ୍ନିତ୍ସର ସମାନଙ୍କେୁ ପଚାରିଲେ, ହେ ଶଦ୍ରକ, ମୈଶକ୍ ଓ ଅବେଦ୍-ନଗୋ, ଏହା କଣ ସତ୍ଯ, ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ମାରେ ଦବେତାଗଣର ପୂଜା କରୁନାହିଁ ଓ ମାରେସ୍ଥାପିତ ସୁବର୍ଣ୍ଣମଯ ପ୍ରତିମାକୁ ପ୍ରଣାମ କରୁନାହିଁ।

15 Now if ye be ready at the time that ye hear the sound of the cornet, pipe, lute, sambuca, psaltery, and bagpipe, and all kinds of music, to fall down and worship the image that I have made, [well]: but if ye worship not, ye shall be cast that same hour into the midst of a burning fiery furnace: and who is the God that shall deliver you out of my hands?ଯେତବେେଳେ ଶିଙ୍ଗା, ବଂଶୀ, ବୀଣା, ଚତୁସ୍ତନ୍ତ୍ରୀ, ନବେଲ, ମୃଦଙ୍ଗ ଓ ସବୁପ୍ରକାର ବାଦ୍ଯ ଶୁଣ, ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ସୁବର୍ଣ୍ଣ ପ୍ରତିମାକୁ ମୁଣ୍ତ ନୁଆଁଇ ପ୍ରଣାମ କରିବ। ଯଦି ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ପୂଜା ନକର ତବେେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ଜ୍ବଳନ୍ତ ଅଗ୍ନି କୁମ୍ତ ରେ ଫିଙ୍ଗା ୟିବ। ଆଉ ଏପରି କୌଣସି ଦବେତା ନାହିଁନ୍ତି ଯେ କି ମାଠାରୁେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ଉଦ୍ଧାର କରିବ।

16 Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego answered and said to the king, O Nebuchadnezzar, we have no need to answer thee in this matter.ଶଦ୍ରକ, ମୈଶକ ଓ ଅବେଦ୍-ନଗୋ ରାଜାଙ୍କୁ ଉତ୍ତର କଲେ, ହେ ନବୂଖଦ୍ନିତ୍ସର, ଏ ବିଷଯ ରେ ଆପଣଙ୍କୁ ଉତ୍ତର ଦବୋର ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କର ପ୍ରୟୋଜନ ନାହିଁ।

17 If it be [so], our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace, and he will deliver [us] out of thy hand, O king.ଯଦି ଆପଣ ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ଜ୍ବଳନ୍ତ ଅଗ୍ନିକୁଣ୍ତ ରେ ନିକ୍ଷପେ କରନ୍ତି ତବେେ ଯାହାଙ୍କୁ ଆମ୍ଭମାନେେ ସବୋ କରୁଅଛୁ ସହେି ପରମେଶ୍ବର ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ରକ୍ଷା କରିବାକୁ ସମର୍ଥ ଅଟନ୍ତି, ଆଉ ହେ ମହାରାଜ, ସେ ଆପଣଙ୍କ ହସ୍ତରୁ ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ଉଦ୍ଧାର କରିବେ।

18 But if not, be it known unto thee, O king, that we will not serve thy gods, nor worship the golden image that thou hast set up.ଆଉ ଏପରିକି ପରମେଶ୍ବର ଯଦି ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ରକ୍ଷା କରିବାକୁ ନଆସନ୍ତି ତଥାପି ଆମ୍ଭମାନେେ ଆପଣଙ୍କ ଦବେତାଗଣର ପୂଜା କରିବୁ ନାହିଁ କି ଆପଣଙ୍କ ସୁବର୍ଣ୍ଣ ପ୍ରତିମାକୁ ପ୍ରଣାମ କରିବୁ ନାହିଁ।

19 Then was Nebuchadnezzar full of fury, and the form of his visage was changed against Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego. He spoke, and commanded that they should heat the furnace seven times more than it was wont to be heated.ଏଥି ରେ ନବୂଖଦ୍ନିତ୍ସର ଅତ୍ଯନ୍ତ କୋର୍ଧାନ୍ବିତ ହେଲା। ଶଦ୍ରକ୍, ମୈଶକ୍ ଓ ଅବେଦ୍-ନଗୋର ପ୍ରତିକୂଳ ରେ ତା'ର ମୁଖ ବିକଟାକାର ହେଲା। ତେଣୁ ସେ ଅଗ୍ନିକୁଣ୍ତକୁ ସାଧାରଣ ଉତ୍ତାପଠାରୁ ସାତଗୁଣ ଉତ୍ତପ୍ତ କରିବାକୁ ଆଜ୍ଞା ଦଲୋ।

20 And he commanded the most mighty men that were in his army to bind Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego, and cast them into the burning fiery furnace.ତା'ପ ରେ ନବୂଖଦ୍ନିତ୍ସର ଆପଣା ସୈନ୍ଯବାହିନୀ ମଧ୍ଯରୁ କେତକେ ବଳବାନ ସୈନ୍ଯକୁ ଶଦ୍ରକ, ମୈଶକ୍ ଓ ଅବେଦ୍-ନଗୋକୁ ବାନ୍ଧି ଜ୍ବଳନ୍ତ ଅଗ୍ନିକୁଣ୍ତ ରେ ପକାଇବାକୁ ଆଜ୍ଞା ଦେଲେ।

21 Then these men were bound in their hosen, their tunics, and their cloaks, and their garments, and were cast into the midst of the burning fiery furnace.ତେଣୁ ଶଦ୍ରକ, ମୈଶକ୍ ଓ ଅବେଦ୍-ନଗୋକୁ ବାନ୍ଧି ପ୍ରଜ୍ବଳିତ ଅଗ୍ନିକୁଣ୍ତକୁ ଫିଙ୍ଗା ଗଲା। ସେତବେେଳେ ସମାନେେ ସମାନଙ୍କେର ପ୍ଯାଣ୍ଟ, ସାର୍ଟ, ଉତ୍ତରୀଯ ଓ ଅନ୍ଯାନ୍ଯ ବସ୍ତ୍ର ପରିଧାନ କରିଥିଲେ।

22 Forasmuch as the king's commandment was rigorous, and the furnace exceeding hot, the flame of the fire slew those men that had taken up Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego.ରାଜା ଆଜ୍ଞା କଲା ବେଳେ ଅତ୍ଯନ୍ତ କୋର୍ଧିତ ଥିଲେ ଓ ଅଗ୍ନିକୁଣ୍ତକୁ ଅତିଶଯ ଉତ୍ତପ୍ତ କରା ୟାଇଥିଲା। ତେଣୁ ଶଦ୍ରକ, ମୈଶକ୍ ଏବଂ ଅବେଦ୍-ନଗୋ ରେ ଫିଙ୍ଗିବାକୁ ୟାଇଥିବା ସୈନ୍ଯମାନେ ଅଗ୍ନି ଶିଖା ଦ୍ବାରା /E ମଲେ।

23 And these three men, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego, fell down bound into the midst of the burning fiery furnace.ଶଦ୍ରକ୍, ମୈଶକ୍ ଓ ଅବେଦ୍-ନଗୋ ଜ୍ବଳନ୍ତ ଅଗ୍ନିକୁଣ୍ତ ରେ ପଡିଲେ। ସମାନଙ୍କେୁ ଦୃଢଭାବରେ ବନ୍ଧା ୟାଇଥିଲା।

24 Then Nebuchadnezzar the king was astonied, and rose up in haste; he spoke and said unto his counsellors, Did not we cast three men bound into the midst of the fire? They answered and said to the king, True, O king.ଏଥି ରେ ରାଜା ନବୂଖଦ୍ନିତ୍ସର ଚମତ୍କୃତ ହାଇେ ଶୀଘ୍ର ଉଠିଲେ। ସେ ଆପଣା ମନ୍ତ୍ରୀମାନଙ୍କୁ ପଚାରିଲେ, ଆମ୍ଭେ ତିନିଲୋକଙ୍କୁ ବାନ୍ଧି ଅଗ୍ନିକୁଣ୍ତ ରେ ପକାଇ ନଥିଲୁ?

25 He answered and said, Lo, I see four men loose, walking in the midst of the fire, and they have no hurt; and the appearance of the fourth is like a son of God.ରାଜା ଉତ୍ତର କରି କହିଲେ, ଦେଖ, ମୁଁ ଅଗ୍ନି କୁଣ୍ତ ରେ ଗ୍ଭରିଟି ମୁକ୍ତ ଲୋକ ବିଚରଣ କରୁଥିବାର ଦେଖୁଛି। ଆଉ ସମାନେେ ଦଗ୍ଧିଭୂତ ହାଇେ ନାହାଁନ୍ତି ଓ ଚତୁର୍ଥ ଲୋକଟି ଦବପେୁତ୍ର ସଦୃଶ।

26 Then Nebuchadnezzar came near to the opening of the burning fiery furnace; he spoke and said, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego, ye servants of the Most High God, come forth, and come [hither]. Then Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego came forth from the midst of the fire.ତା'ପ ରେ ନବୂଖଦ୍ନିତ୍ସର ପ୍ରଜ୍ବଳିତ ଅଗ୍ନିକୁଣ୍ତ ଆଡକୁ ୟାଇ କହିଲା, ହେ ସର୍ବୋପରିସ୍ଥ ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କ ଦାସ, ଶଦ୍ରକ୍, ମୈଶକ୍ ଓ ଅବେଦ୍-ନଗୋ, ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ଅଗ୍ନିକୁଣ୍ତରୁ ବାହାରି ଆସ।

27 And the satraps, the prefects, and the governors, and the king's counsellors, being gathered together, saw these men, upon whose bodies the fire had had no power, nor was the hair of their head singed, neither were their hosen changed, nor had the smell of fire passed on them.ପୁଣି କ୍ଷିତିପାଳ, ରାଜ ପ୍ରତିନିଧି, ଦଶାେଧ୍ଯକ୍ଷ ଓ ରାଜମନ୍ତ୍ରୀମାନେ ଏକତ୍ରୀତ ହାଇେ ସହେି ତିନିଜଣଙ୍କୁ ଦେଖିଲେ ଯେ ଅଗ୍ନି ସମାନଙ୍କେର ଶରୀର ରେ କୌଣସି ଅଂଶ ଦଗ୍ଧ କରିନାହିଁ। ସମାନଙ୍କେ ମସ୍ତକର କେଶ କି ସମାନଙ୍କେର ପାଇଜାମା ଦଗ୍ଧ ହାଇନୋହିଁ କି ସମାନଙ୍କେର ଶରୀର ରେ ଅଗ୍ନିର ଗନ୍ଧ ନାହିଁ।

28 Nebuchadnezzar spoke and said, Blessed be the God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego, who hath sent his angel, and delivered his servants who trusted in him, and who changed the king's word, and yielded their bodies, that they might not serve nor worship any god, except their own God!ତା'ପ ରେ ନବୂଖଦ୍ନିତ୍ସର କହିଲା, ଶଦ୍ରକ୍, ମୈଶକ୍ ଓ ଅବେଦ୍-ନଗୋର ପରମେଶ୍ବର ଧନ୍ଯ, ଯେ ହତେୁ ସେ ଆପଣା ଦୂତ ପଠାଇଲେ ଓ ଆପଣା ଦାସମାନଙ୍କୁ ଅଗ୍ନିରୁ ଉଦ୍ଧାର କଲେ। ଆଉ ଏହି ତିନିଜଣ ଆପଣା ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କଠା ରେ ବିଶ୍ବାସ ରଖିଲେ ଓ ତାଙ୍କ ଭିନ୍ନ ଅନ୍ୟ କୌଣସି ଦବେତାଙ୍କର ପୂଜା କଲେ ନାହିଁ କି ପ୍ରଣାମ କଲେ ନାହିଁ। ଆଉ ମଧ୍ଯ ରାଜବାକ୍ଯ ଅମାନ୍ଯ କରି ଆପଣା ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କ ସବୋ କଲେ।

29 Therefore I make a decree, that in every people, nation, and language, he who shall speak anything amiss against the God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego, shall be cut in pieces, and his house shall be made a dunghill: because there is no other God that is able to deliver after this sort.ତେଣୁ ମୁଁ ବର୍ତ୍ତମାନଠାରୁ ତାହା ଆଜ୍ଞା କରୁଅଛି ଯଦି କୌଣସି ଲୋକ ଜାତି ଓ ଭାଷାବାଦୀଦଳ, ଶଦ୍ରକ୍, ମୈଶକ୍ ଓ ଅବେଦ୍-ନଗୋର ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କ ପ୍ରତିକୂଳ ରେ ଭ୍ରାନ୍ତିଜନକ କଥା କହିବେ, ସମାନେେ ଖଣ୍ତ ଖଣ୍ତ ହାଇେ କଟାଯିବେ ଓ ସମାନଙ୍କେର ଗୃହସବୁ ଭଂଗା ହବେ ଓ ଧୂଳିସାତ୍ ହବେ। କାରଣ ଏହିପରି ଭାବରେ କୌଣସି ଦବେତା ତାଙ୍କର ଦାସମାନକୁ ଉଦ୍ଧାର କରିପାରିବେ ନାହିଁ।

30 Then the king promoted Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego in the province of Babylon.ଏହାପ ରେ ରାଜା ଶଦ୍ରକ୍, ମୈଶକ୍ ଓ ଅବେଦ୍-ନଗୋକୁ ବାବିଲ ପ୍ରଦେଶ ରେ ପ୍ରଧାନ ପଦ ରେ ନିୟୁକ୍ତ କଲେ।
