ଏହାପରେ ଯାକୁବ ତାଙ୍କୁ ପଚାରିଲେ, ସେ କିପରି ଅଛନ୍ତି।

| and, behold, | וַיֹּֽאמְר֣וּ | wayyōʾmĕrû | va-yoh-meh-ROO |
| Rachel | שָׁל֔וֹם | šālôm | sha-LOME |
| daughter his | וְהִנֵּה֙ | wĕhinnēh | veh-hee-NAY |
| cometh | רָחֵ֣ל | rāḥēl | ra-HALE |
| with | בִּתּ֔וֹ | bittô | BEE-toh |
| the sheep. | בָּאָ֖ה | bāʾâ | ba-AH |
| עִם | ʿim | eem | |
| הַצֹּֽאן׃ | haṣṣōn | ha-TSONE |
