ହ ମାରେ ଓ ଶିଖିମ ତାଙ୍କ ସହରର ସଭାସ୍ଥଳକୁ ଗଲା। ସମାନେେ ସହେି ସହରର ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କୁ କହିଲେ,

| came | בְּנ֖וֹ | bĕnô | beh-NOH |
| unto | אֶל | ʾel | el |
| the gate | שַׁ֣עַר | šaʿar | SHA-ar |
| city, their of | עִירָ֑ם | ʿîrām | ee-RAHM |
| and communed | וַֽיְדַבְּר֛וּ | waydabbĕrû | va-da-beh-ROO |
| with | אֶל | ʾel | el |
| men the | אַנְשֵׁ֥י | ʾanšê | an-SHAY |
| of their city, | עִירָ֖ם | ʿîrām | ee-RAHM |
| saying, | לֵאמֹֽר׃ | lēʾmōr | lay-MORE |
