କିନ୍ତୁ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ କଯିନଙ୍କୁ ଓ ତାଙ୍କର ନବୈେଦ୍ଯକୁ ଗ୍ରହଣ କଲେ ନାହିଁ। ଏଣୁ କଯିନ ବହୁତ କୋରଧ ଏବଂ ଦୁଃଖ କଲା।

| wroth, | מְאֹ֔ד | mĕʾōd | meh-ODE |
| and his countenance | וַֽיִּפְּל֖וּ | wayyippĕlû | va-yee-peh-LOO |
