Mark 7:4
ଏପରିକି ବଜାରରୁ ଅଣାଯାଉଥିବା ଖାଦ୍ୟ ପଦାର୍ଥକୁ ସମାନେେ ନିର୍ଦ୍ଧାରିତ ପଦ୍ଧତି ରେ ନ ଧୋଇ ଖାଆନ୍ତି ନାହିଁ। ଗିନା, କଳସ, ତମ୍ବାପାତ୍ର ଆଦି ମାଜିବା ଧୋଇବା ଭଳି ଅନକେ ପରମ୍ପରା ସମାନେେ ପାଳନ କରନ୍ତି।

ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କ ନିକଟକୁ ଆସ, ତବେେ ସେ ମଧ୍ଯ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ନିକଟକୁ ଆସିବେ। ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ପାପୀ ଅଟ। ଅତଏବ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ଜୀବନରୁ ପାପକୁ ପରିଷ୍କାର କର। ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଏକା ସମୟରେ ପରମେଶ୍ବର ଓ ସଂସାର, ଉଭୟର ଅନୁସରଣ କରିବାକୁ ଚେଷ୍ଟା କରୁଛ। ତୁମ୍ଭର ଚିନ୍ତାଧାରାକୁ ପବିତ୍ର କର।
ଯୋହନଲିଖିତ ସୁସମାଚାର 2:6
ସହେି ସ୍ଥାନ ରେ ଛଅଟି ପଥରର ବଡ ଜଳକୁଣ୍ଡ ଥିଲା। ଯିହୂଦୀମାନେ ତାହାଙ୍କ ଶୁଚିକରଣ ନୀତି ଅନୁସାରେ ଏହି ଜଳକୁଣ୍ଡ ବ୍ଯବହାର କରୁଥିଲେ। ପ୍ରେତ୍ୟକକ ଜଳକୁଣ୍ଡ ରେ ପ୍ରାୟ ଶ ହରେୁ ଶ ହେ ପଚାଶ ଲିଟର ପାଣି ଧରୁଥିଲା।

ପରମେଶ୍ବର ଆଲୋକରେ ବାସ କରନ୍ତି, ତେଣୁ ଆମ୍ଭେ ମଧ୍ଯ ଆଲୋକରେ ବାସ କରିବା ଉଚିତ। ଯଦି ଆମ୍ଭେ ଆଲୋକରେ ଜୀବନଯାପନ କରୁ, ତବେେ ଆମ୍ଭେ ପରସ୍ପର ସହଭାଗୀ ହାଇପୋରିବା। ଯଦି ଆମ୍ଭମାନେେ ଆଲୋକରେ ରହୁ, ତବେେ ତାହାଙ୍କ ପୁତ୍ର ଯୀଶୁଙ୍କ ରକ୍ତ ଆମ୍ଭର ସମସ୍ତ ପାପ ଧୋଇଦିଏ।
