Psalm 38
1 ହେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ, ମାେତେ ଆପଣା କୋପରେ ଅନୁୟୋଗ କର ନାହିଁ। କିଅବା ମାେତେ ତୁମ୍ଭେ କୋର୍ଧାନ୍ବିତ ହାଇେ ଦଣ୍ଡ ଦିଅ ନାହିଁ।
2 ହେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ, ତୁମ୍ଭେ ମାେତେ ଆଘାତ କରିଛ। ତୁମ୍ଭର ତୀର ମାରେ ଅନ୍ତଃସ୍ଥଳକୁ ବିଦ୍ଧ କରିଛି।
3 ତୁମ୍ଭେ ମାେତେ ଦଣ୍ଡ ଦଲେ। ବର୍ତ୍ତମାନ ମାରେ ସମସ୍ତ ଶରୀର କମ୍ପୁଅଛି। ମାରେ ପାପ ଲାଗି ତୁମ୍ଭେ ମାେତେ ଦଣ୍ଡ ଦଲେ, ତଣେୁ ମାରେ ଅସ୍ଥିରେ କିଛି ଆରାମ ନାହିଁ।
4 ମୁଁ ପାପ କରିଛି, ମନ୍ଦ କାର୍ୟ୍ଯ କରି ସହେି ପାପ ମାେତେ ଓଜନ ଲାଗୁଛି। ମୁଁ ଅତ୍ଯନ୍ତ ଲଜ୍ଜିତ। ମୁଁ ମୁଣ୍ଡ ଉପରକୁ ଟକେିପାରୁ ନାହିଁ।
5 ମୁଁ ଏକ ମୂର୍ଖାମୀ କାର୍ୟ୍ଯ କରିଛି। ମାରେ ଅଜ୍ଞାନତା ୟୋଗୁ ମାରେ କ୍ଷତ ସବୁ ଦୁର୍ଗନ୍ଧ ଓ ବିକୃତ ହାଇେଛି।
6 ମୁଁ ଆଜି ନଇଁ ୟାଇଛି। ଭାଙ୍ଗି ପଡ଼ିଛି ସାରାଦିନ ମୁଁ ବ୍ଯଥିତ ହାଇେଛି।
7 ମାରେ ଶରୀର ଜ୍ବାଳାରେ ପରିପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ ଥିଲା। ମାରେ ସମସ୍ତ ଶରୀର ୟନ୍ତ୍ରଣାରେ ଛଟପଟ ହେଉଥିଲା।
8 ମାେତେ ଏତେ କଷ୍ଟ ହେଉଥିଲା, ମୁଁ କିଛି ଅନୁଭବ କରିପାରୁ ନ ଥିଲି। ମୁଁ ହୃଦଯର ଅସ୍ଥିରତା ହତେୁରୁ ଆର୍ତ୍ତନାଦ କରୁଥିଲି।
9 ହେ ମାରେ ପ୍ରଭୁ, ତୁମ୍ଭେ ମାରେ ପ୍ରାର୍ଥନା ଶୁଣିଲ। ତୁମ୍ଭେ ମାରେ ଆର୍ତ୍ତନାଦ ଶୁଣିଲ।
10 ମାରେ ହୃଦଯ ବିଦୀର୍ଣ୍ଣ ହେଉଅଛି। ମାରେ ବଳସବୁ କ୍ଷୀଣ ହାଇଗେଲାଣି ଓ ମୁଁ ଅନ୍ଧ ହାଇଯୋଉଛି।
11 ମାରେ ରୋଗ ଯୋଗୁଁ ମାରେ ବନ୍ଧୁ ଓ ପଡ଼ୋଶୀମାନେ ମାେତେ ଦଖାେ କରିବାକୁ ଆସନ୍ତି ନାହିଁ। ମାରେ ପରିବାରବର୍ଗ ମାଠାରୁେ ଦୂରଇେ ରହନ୍ତି।
12 ମାରେ ଶତ୍ରୁମାନେ ମାେ ବିଷଯରେ ଖରାପ କଥା କହନ୍ତି। ସମାନେେ ମିଛ ଓ ଗୁଜବ ସୃଷ୍ଟି କରନ୍ତି। ସମାନେେ ସବୁବେଳେ ମାେ ବିଷଯରେ ଆଲୋଚନା କରନ୍ତି।
13 ମୁଁ ଏକ ବଧୀର ବ୍ଯକ୍ତି ତୁଲ୍ଯ, ୟିଏ ଶୁଣିପାରେ ନାହିଁ। ମୁଁ ଏକ ମୂକ ବ୍ଯକ୍ତି ତୁଲ୍ଯ, ୟିଏ କଥା କହିପାରେ ନାହିଁ।
14 ମୁଁ ଜଣେ ବଧୀର ବ୍ଯକ୍ତି ପରି ୟିଏ, ପ୍ରେତ୍ୟକକ ଲୋକମାନେ ୟାହା କରନ୍ତି ସର୍ବଦା ଶୁଣିପାରେ ନାହିଁ। ମୁଁ ସମାନଙ୍କେ ସହିତ ୟୁକ୍ତି ଏବଂ ପ୍ରମାଣ କରିପାରିବି ନାହିଁ କାରଣ ମାରେ ଶତ୍ରୁମାନେ ଭୁଲ୍ କରୁଛନ୍ତି।
15 ତଣେୁ ହେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ମାେତେ ନିଶ୍ଚଯ ସହାୟ ହବେ। ହେ ପରମେଶ୍ବର ମାରେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ମାେ ପାଇଁ ନିଶ୍ଚଯ କହିବ।
16 ୟଦି ମୁଁ କିଛି କ ହେ, ମାରେ ଶତ୍ରୁମାନେ ମାେତେ ପରିହାସ କରିବେ। ସମାନେେ ଦେଖିବେ ୟେ, ମୁଁ ଅସୁସ୍ଥ ଅଛି ଓ କହିବେ ମୁଁ ପାପ କଲି। ସମାନେେ କହିବେ, ପରମେଶ୍ବର ମାେତେ ଦଣ୍ଡ ଦେଉଛନ୍ତି।
17 ମୁଁ ଜାଣେ ମୁଁ ପାପର ଶାନ୍ତି ଭୋଗୁଛି, ମୁଁ ମାରେ ୟନ୍ତ୍ରଣାକୁ ଭୁଲିପାରିବି ନାହିଁ।
18 ହେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ, ମୁଁ କ ହେ, ମୁଁ ଯେଉଁ ମନ୍ଦ କାର୍ୟ୍ଯ କରିଛି, ମୁଁ ସ୍ବୀକାର କରେ ୟାହା ପାପ ମୁଁ କରିଛି। ମୁଁ ମାରେ ପାପଗୁଡ଼ିକ ପାଇଁ ବାସ୍ତବରେ ଦୁଃଖିତ।
19 ମାରେ ଶତ୍ରୁମାନେ ସତଜେ ଓ ବଳବାନ ଅଟନ୍ତି। ସମାନେେ ଅନକେ ଥର ମିଥ୍ଯା କହିଛନ୍ତି।
20 ମାରେ ଶତ୍ରୁମାନେ ମାେ ପ୍ରତି ମନ୍ଦ ଆଚରଣ କରନ୍ତି। କିନ୍ତୁ ମୁଁ ସମାନଙ୍କେ ପ୍ରତି ଉତ୍ତମ ବ୍ଯବହାର କଲେ। ମୁଁ ସବୁବେଳେ ଉତ୍ତମ କାର୍ୟ୍ଯ କରିବାକୁ ଚେଷ୍ଟା କରେ। କିନ୍ତୁ ସହେି ଲୋକମାନେ ତଥାପି ମାେ ବିରୁଦ୍ଧରେ ୟାଆନ୍ତି।
21 ହେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ, ମାେତେ ପରିତ୍ଯାଗ କର ନାହିଁ। ହେ ମାରେ ପରମେଶ୍ବର ମାରେ ନିକଟରେ ରୁହ।
22 ଶୀଘ୍ର ଆସ ଓ ମାେତେ ସାହାୟ୍ଯ କର। ହେ ମାରେ ପରମେଶ୍ବର ମାେତେ ଉଦ୍ଧାର କର।
1 A Psalm of David, to bring to remembrance.
2 O Lord, rebuke me not in thy wrath: neither chasten me in thy hot displeasure.
3 For thine arrows stick fast in me, and thy hand presseth me sore.
4 There is no soundness in my flesh because of thine anger; neither is there any rest in my bones because of my sin.
5 For mine iniquities are gone over mine head: as an heavy burden they are too heavy for me.
6 My wounds stink and are corrupt because of my foolishness.
7 I am troubled; I am bowed down greatly; I go mourning all the day long.
8 For my loins are filled with a loathsome disease: and there is no soundness in my flesh.
9 I am feeble and sore broken: I have roared by reason of the disquietness of my heart.
10 Lord, all my desire is before thee; and my groaning is not hid from thee.
11 My heart panteth, my strength faileth me: as for the light of mine eyes, it also is gone from me.
12 My lovers and my friends stand aloof from my sore; and my kinsmen stand afar off.
13 They also that seek after my life lay snares for me: and they that seek my hurt speak mischievous things, and imagine deceits all the day long.
14 But I, as a deaf man, heard not; and I was as a dumb man that openeth not his mouth.
15 Thus I was as a man that heareth not, and in whose mouth are no reproofs.
16 For in thee, O Lord, do I hope: thou wilt hear, O Lord my God.
17 For I said, Hear me, lest otherwise they should rejoice over me: when my foot slippeth, they magnify themselves against me.
18 For I am ready to halt, and my sorrow is continually before me.
19 For I will declare mine iniquity; I will be sorry for my sin.
20 But mine enemies are lively, and they are strong: and they that hate me wrongfully are multiplied.
21 They also that render evil for good are mine adversaries; because I follow the thing that good is.
22 Forsake me not, O Lord: O my God, be not far from me.
23 Make haste to help me, O Lord my salvation.

A Psalm of David, when he changed his behaviour before Abimelech; who drove him away, and he departed.
1 मैं हर समय यहोवा को धन्य कहा करूंगा; उसकी स्तुति निरन्तर मेरे मुख से होती रहेगी।
I will bless the Lord at all times: his praise shall continually be in my mouth.
2 मैं यहोवा पर घमण्ड करूंगा; नम्र लोग यह सुनकर आनन्दित होंगे।
My soul shall make her boast in the Lord: the humble shall hear thereof, and be glad.
3 मेरे साथ यहोवा की बड़ाई करो, और आओ हम मिलकर उसके नाम की स्तुति करें।
O magnify the Lord with me, and let us exalt his name together.
4 मैं यहोवा के पास गया, तब उसने मेरी सुन ली, और मुझे पूरी रीति से निर्भय किया।
I sought the Lord, and he heard me, and delivered me from all my fears.
5 जिन्होंने उसकी ओर दृष्टि की उन्होंने ज्योति पाई; और उनका मुंह कभी काला न होने पाया।
They looked unto him, and were lightened: and their faces were not ashamed.
6 इस दीन जन ने पुकारा तब यहोवा ने सुन लिया, और उसको उसके सब कष्टों से छुड़ा लिया॥
This poor man cried, and the Lord heard him, and saved him out of all his troubles.
7 यहोवा के डरवैयों के चारों ओर उसका दूत छावनी किए हुए उन को बचाता है।
The angel of the Lord encampeth round about them that fear him, and delivereth them.
8 परखकर देखो कि यहोवा कैसा भला है! क्या ही धन्य है वह पुरूष जो उसकी शरण लेता है।
O taste and see that the Lord is good: blessed is the man that trusteth in him.
9 हे यहोवा के पवित्र लोगो, उसका भय मानो, क्योंकि उसके डरवैयों को किसी बात की घटी नहीं होती!
O fear the Lord, ye his saints: for there is no want to them that fear him.
10 जवान सिंहों तो घटी होती और वे भूखे भी रह जाते हैं; परन्तु यहोवा के खोजियों को किसी भली वस्तु की घटी न होवेगी॥
The young lions do lack, and suffer hunger: but they that seek the Lord shall not want any good thing.
11 हे लड़कों, आओ, मेरी सुनो, मैं तुम को यहोवा का भय मानना सिखाऊंगा।
Come, ye children, hearken unto me: I will teach you the fear of the Lord.
12 वह कौन मनुष्य है जो जीवन की इच्छा रखता, और दीर्घायु चाहता है ताकि भलाई देखे?
What man is he that desireth life, and loveth many days, that he may see good?
13 अपनी जीभ को बुराई से रोक रख, और अपने मुंह की चौकसी कर कि उससे छल की बात न निकले।
Keep thy tongue from evil, and thy lips from speaking guile.
14 बुराई को छोड़ और भलाई कर; मेल को ढूंढ और उसी का पीछा कर॥
Depart from evil, and do good; seek peace, and pursue it.
15 यहोवा की आंखे धर्मियों पर लगी रहती हैं, और उसके कान भी उसकी दोहाई की ओर लगे रहते हैं।
The eyes of the Lord are upon the righteous, and his ears are open unto their cry.
16 यहोवा बुराई करने वालों के विमुख रहता है, ताकि उनका स्मरण पृथ्वी पर से मिटा डाले।
The face of the Lord is against them that do evil, to cut off the remembrance of them from the earth.
17 धर्मी दोहाई देते हैं और यहोवा सुनता है, और उन को सब विपत्तियों से छुड़ाता है।
The righteous cry, and the Lord heareth, and delivereth them out of all their troubles.
18 यहोवा टूटे मन वालों के समीप रहता है, और पिसे हुओं का उद्धार करता है॥
The Lord is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart; and saveth such as be of a contrite spirit.
19 धर्मी पर बहुत सी विपत्तियां पड़ती तो हैं, परन्तु यहोवा उसको उन सब से मुक्त करता है।
Many are the afflictions of the righteous: but the Lord delivereth him out of them all.
20 वह उसकी हड्डी हड्डी की रक्षा करता है; और उन में से एक भी टूटने नहीं पाती।
He keepeth all his bones: not one of them is broken.
21 दुष्ट अपनी बुराई के द्वारा मारा जाएगा; और धर्मी के बैरी दोषी ठहरेंगे।
Evil shall slay the wicked: and they that hate the righteous shall be desolate.
22 यहोवा अपने दासों का प्राण मोल लेकर बचा लेता है; और जितने उसके शरणागत हैं उन में से कोई भी दोषी न ठहरेगा॥
The Lord redeemeth the soul of his servants: and none of them that trust in him shall be desolate.
