Psalm 7
1 ହେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ମାରେ ପରମେଶ୍ବର, ମୁଁ ତୁମ୍ଭଠାରେ ଶରଣ ନେଉଛି। ମାେ ପଛରେ ଗୋଡ଼ାଇଥିବା ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କଠାରୁ ମାେତେ ରକ୍ଷା କର ଓ ଉଦ୍ଧାର କର।
2 ତୁମ୍ଭେ ୟଦି ମାେତେ ସାହାୟ୍ଯ ନ କର ଶଷେରେ ସିଂହ ଦ୍ବାରା ଧରା ପଡ଼ିଥିବା ପଶୁଟି ପରି ମାରେ ଅବସ୍ଥା ହବେ। ମାେତେ ସମାନେେ ବୋହି ନଇେଯିବେ। ସେତବେେଳେ କହେି ମାେତେ ରକ୍ଷା କରିବାକୁ ନ ଥିବେ।
3 ହେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ମାରେ ପରମେଶ୍ବର, ୟଦି ମୁଁ କିଛି ଭଲ କରି ନାହିଁ। ମୁଁ ପ୍ରତିଜ୍ଞା କରି କହିପାରେ ମୁଁ କିଛି କୁକର୍ମ କରି ନାହିଁ।
4 ୟବେେ ମାରେ ବନ୍ଧୁମାନଙ୍କ ପ୍ରତି ମୁଁ ଭୁଲ୍ କରିଥାଏ ଓ ମାତ୍ର ବିନା କାରଣରେ ୟେ ମାରେ ବିପକ୍ଷ ମୁଁ ତାଙ୍କୁ ରକ୍ଷା କରିବି।
5 ଏହା ୟଦି ସତ୍ଯ ନୁହେଁ ତାହା ହେଲେ ମାେତେ ଶାସ୍ତି ଦିଅ। ମାରେ ଶତ୍ରୁ ମାେ ପଛରେ ଗୋଡ଼ାଇ ମାେତେ ଧରି ମାରି ଦେଉ। ମାରେ ଜୀବନକୁ ଭୂମିରେ ଦଳି ପକାଉ। ମାରେ ଆତ୍ମାକୁ ତଥା ଗୌରବକୁ ଧୂଳିସାତ୍ କରୁ।
6 ହେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ, ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଜାଗ୍ରତ ହୁଅ ଓ ତୁମ୍ଭର କୋର୍ଧ ପ୍ରକାଶ କର। ମାରେ ଶତ୍ରୁମାନେ କୋର୍ଧିତ ତଣେୁ ସମାନଙ୍କେ ସମ୍ମୁଖରେ ରହି ସମାନଙ୍କେ ବିରୁଦ୍ଧରେ ସଂଗ୍ରାମ କର। ହେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ, ମାେ ପକ୍ଷରେ ଜାଗ୍ରତ ହୁଅ ଓ ନ୍ଯାଯ ବିଚାର କର।
7 ହେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ, ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କର ବିଚାର କର। ଯେଉଁମାନେ କି ତୁମ୍ଭ ରାଜ୍ଯର ଚତୁର୍ଦ୍ଦିଗରେ ଏକତ୍ରୀତ ହାଇେଛନ୍ତି।
8 ହେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କର ବିଚାର କର। ମାରେ ମଧ୍ଯ ବିଚାର କର। ପ୍ରମାଣ କର ମୁଁ ୟାହା କହୁଛି ତାହା ଠିକ୍। ପ୍ରମାଣ କର ୟେ ମୁଁ ନିରପରାଧ।
9 ଦୁଷ୍ଟ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କୁ ଦଣ୍ଡ ଦିଅ। ସାଧୁ ସନ୍ଥ ଲୋକଙ୍କୁ ସାହାୟ୍ଯ କର। ହେ ପରମେଶ୍ବର ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଅତ୍ଯନ୍ତ ମହାନ୍ ଏବଂ ଲୋକଙ୍କ ହୃଦଯକୁ ସହଜରେ ଚିହ୍ନିପାର।
10 ପରମେଶ୍ବର ସବୁବେଳେ ୟଥାର୍ଥ ହୃଦଯ ବ୍ଯକ୍ତିମାନଙ୍କୁ ସାହାୟ୍ଯ କରନ୍ତି, ତଣେୁ ପରମେଶ୍ବର ମାେତେ ନିଶ୍ଚଯ ରକ୍ଷା କରିବେ।
11 ପରମେଶ୍ବର ହେଉଛନ୍ତି ଧର୍ମମଯ ବିଚାରକର୍ତ୍ତା। ସେ ସବୁବେଳେ ଦୁଷ୍ଟମାନଙ୍କର କାର୍ୟ୍ଯ ପାଇଁ କୋର୍ଧ କରନ୍ତି।
12 ୟଦି ପରମେଶ୍ବର କୌଣସି ନିଷ୍ପତ୍ତି ନିଅନ୍ତି ସେ ସହଜରେ ତାଙ୍କ ମନ ପରିବର୍ତ୍ତନ କରନ୍ତି ନାହିଁ।
13 ପରମେଶ୍ବର ସବୁବେଳେ ଦୁଷ୍ଟମାନଙ୍କୁ ଦଣ୍ଡ ଦବୋକୁ ପ୍ରସ୍ତୁତ ଥାଆନ୍ତି।
14 କିଛି ଲୋକ ସବୁବେଳେ ମନ୍ଦ ଯୋଜନାରେ ବ୍ଯସ୍ତ ଥାଆନ୍ତି। ସମାନେେ ଗୋପନ ଯୋଜନା କରନ୍ତି ଓ ମିଥ୍ଯା ମଧ୍ଯ କହନ୍ତି।
15 ସେମାନେ ସବୁବେଳେ ଅନ୍ୟକୁ ଆଘାତ ଦେଇ ଫାନ୍ଦରେ ପକାଇବାକୁ ଚେଷ୍ଟା କରନ୍ତି। କିନ୍ତୁ ଶେଷରେ ସେମାନେ ନିଜ ଯନ୍ତାରେ ପଡ଼ି ଆଘାତ ପାଇବେ।
16 ସେମାନେ ନିଶ୍ଚୟ ଦଣ୍ଡ ପାଇବେ। ସେମାନେ ଅନ୍ୟ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କ ପ୍ରତି ନିଷ୍ଠୁର ବ୍ୟବହାର ପ୍ରଦର୍ଶନ କରନ୍ତି। କିନ୍ତୁ ସେମାନେ ନିଜର ଦୌରାତ୍ମ୍ୟ ପାଇଁ ନିଜେ ହିଁ ଦଣ୍ଡ ପାଇବେ।
17 ମୁଁ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କର ଧନ୍ୟବାଦ କରିବି କାରଣ ସେ ମହାନ। ମୁଁ ସର୍ବୋପରିସ୍ଥ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କର ନାମରେ ପ୍ରଶଂସା ଗାନ କରିବି।

2 O Lord my God, in thee do I put my trust: save me from all them that persecute me, and deliver me:
3 Lest he tear my soul like a lion, rending it in pieces, while there is none to deliver.
4 O Lord my God, if I have done this; if there be iniquity in my hands;
5 If I have rewarded evil unto him that was at peace with me; (yea, I have delivered him that without cause is mine enemy:)
6 Let the enemy persecute my soul, and take it; yea, let him tread down my life upon the earth, and lay mine honour in the dust. Selah.
7 Arise, O Lord, in thine anger, lift up thyself because of the rage of mine enemies: and awake for me to the judgment that thou hast commanded.
8 So shall the congregation of the people compass thee about: for their sakes therefore return thou on high.
9 The Lord shall judge the people: judge me, O Lord, according to my righteousness, and according to mine integrity that is in me.
10 Oh let the wickedness of the wicked come to an end; but establish the just: for the righteous God trieth the hearts and reins.
11 My defence is of God, which saveth the upright in heart.
12 God judgeth the righteous, and God is angry with the wicked every day.
13 If he turn not, he will whet his sword; he hath bent his bow, and made it ready.
14 He hath also prepared for him the instruments of death; he ordaineth his arrows against the persecutors.
15 Behold, he travaileth with iniquity, and hath conceived mischief, and brought forth falsehood.
16 He made a pit, and digged it, and is fallen into the ditch which he made.
17 His mischief shall return upon his own head, and his violent dealing shall come down upon his own pate.
18 I will praise the Lord according to his righteousness: and will sing praise to the name of the Lord most high.
Acts 23 in Tamil and English
12 விடியற்காலமானபோது, யூதரில் சிலர் ஒருமித்து, தாங்கள் பவுலைக் கொலைசெய்யுமளவும் புசிப்பதுமில்லை குடிப்பதுமில்லையென்று சபதம்பண்ணிக்கொண்டார்கள்.
And when it was day, certain of the Jews banded together, and bound themselves under a curse, saying that they would neither eat nor drink till they had killed Paul.
13 இப்படிக் கட்டுப்பாடு பண்ணிக்கொண்டவர்கள் நாற்பதுபேருக்கு அதிகமாயிருந்தார்கள்.
And they were more than forty which had made this conspiracy.
14 அவர்கள் பிரதான ஆசாரியர்களிடத்திலும் மூப்பர்களிடத்திலும் போய்: நாங்கள் பவுலைக் கொலைசெய்யுமளவும் ஒன்றும் புசிப்பதில்லையென்று உறுதியான சபதம்பண்ணிக்கொண்டோம்.
And they came to the chief priests and elders, and said, We have bound ourselves under a great curse, that we will eat nothing until we have slain Paul.
15 ஆனபடியினால் நீங்கள் ஆலோசனை சங்கத்தாரோடே கூடப்போய், அவனுடைய காரியத்தை அதிக திட்டமாய் விசாரிக்க மனதுள்ளவர்கள்போலச் சேனாபதிக்குக் காண்பித்து, அவர் நாளைக்கு அவனை உங்களிடத்தில் கூட்டிக்கொண்டுவரும்படி அவரிடத்தில் கேட்பீர்களாக. அவன் கிட்டவருகிறதற்குள்ளே நாங்கள் அவனைக் கொலைசெய்ய ஆயத்தமாயிருப்போம் என்றார்கள்.
Now therefore ye with the council signify to the chief captain that he bring him down unto you to morrow, as though ye would inquire something more perfectly concerning him: and we, or ever he come near, are ready to kill him.
16 இந்தச் சர்ப்பனையைப் பவுலினுடைய சகோதரியின் குமாரன் கேள்விப்பட்டு, கோட்டைக்குள்ளே போய், பவுலுக்கு அறிவித்தான்.
And when Paul’s sister’s son heard of their lying in wait, he went and entered into the castle, and told Paul.
17 அப்பொழுது பவுல் நூற்றுக்கு அதிபதிகளில் ஒருவனை அழைத்து, இந்த வாலிபனைச் சேனாபதியினிடத்திற்குக் கூட்டிக்கொண்டுபோம்; அவரிடத்தில் இவன் அறிவிக்கவேண்டிய ஒரு காரியமுண்டு என்றான்.
Then Paul called one of the centurions unto him, and said, Bring this young man unto the chief captain: for he hath a certain thing to tell him.
18 அந்தப்படியே அவன் இவனைச் சேனாபதியினிடத்திற்குக் கூட்டிக்கொண்டுபோய் காவலில் வைக்கப்பட்டிருக்கிற பவுல் என்னை அழைத்து, உமக்கொரு காரியத்தைச் சொல்லவேண்டுமென்றிருக்கிற இந்த வாலிபனை உம்மிடத்திற்குக் கொண்டுபோகும்படி என்னைக் கேட்டுக்கொண்டான் என்றான்.
So he took him, and brought him to the chief captain, and said, Paul the prisoner called me unto him, and prayed me to bring this young man unto thee, who hath something to say unto thee.
19 அப்பொழுது சேனாபதி அவனுடைய கையைப் பிடித்துத் தனியே அழைத்துக்கொண்டுபோய்: நீ என்னிடத்தில் அறிவிக்கவேண்டிய காரியம் என்னவென்று கேட்டான்.
Then the chief captain took him by the hand, and went with him aside privately, and asked him, What is that thou hast to tell me?
20 அதற்கு அவன்: யூதர்கள் பவுலின் காரியத்தை அதிக திட்டமாய் விசாரிக்கமனதுள்ளவர்கள்போல, நீர் நாளைக்கு அவனை ஆலோசனை சங்கத்தாரிடத்தில் கொண்டுவரும்படி உம்மை வேண்டிக்கொள்ள உடன்பட்டிருக்கிறார்கள்.
And he said, The Jews have agreed to desire thee that thou wouldest bring down Paul to morrow into the council, as though they would inquire somewhat of him more perfectly.
21 நீர் அவர்களுக்குச் சம்மதிக்கவேண்டாம்; அவர்களில் நாற்பதுபேர்க்கு அதிகமானவர்கள் அவனைக் கொலைசெய்யுமளவும் தாங்கள் புசிப்பதுமில்லை குடிப்பதுமில்லையென்று சபதம்பண்ணிக்கொண்டு, அவனுக்குப் பதிவிருந்து, உம்முடைய உத்தரவுக்காக இப்பொழுது காத்துக்கொண்டு ஆயத்தமாயிருக்கிறார்கள் என்றான்.
But do not thou yield unto them: for there lie in wait for him of them more than forty men, which have bound themselves with an oath, that they will neither eat nor drink till they have killed him: and now are they ready, looking for a promise from thee.
22 அப்பொழுது சேனாபதி: நீ இவைகளை எனக்கு அறிவித்தாக ஒருவருக்குஞ் சொல்லாதே என்று கட்டளையிட்டு, வாலிபனை அனுப்பிவிட்டான்.
So the chief captain then let the young man depart, and charged him, See thou tell no man that thou hast shewed these things to me.
