அவர் கட்டளையிட பெருங்காற்று எழும்பி, அதின் அலைகளைக் கொந்தளிக்கப்பண்ணும்.

அப்பொழுது கர்த்தர் விஷமுள்ள பாம்புகளை மக்களுக்குள்ளே அனுப்பினார்; அவைகள் மக்களைக் கடித்ததினால் இஸ்ரவேலர்களுக்குள்ளே அநேக மக்கள் இறந்தார்கள்.
