1 For the courses of the doorkeepers: of the Korahites, Meshelemiah the son of Kore, of the sons of Asaph.ਦਰਬਾਨ ਦਰਬਾਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਸਮੂਹ: ਜਿਹੜੇ ਦਰਬਾਨ ਕਾਰਾਹੀ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ-ਸਮੂਹ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਚੁਣੇ ਗਏ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਗਿਣਤੀ ਇਉਂ ਹੈ। ਮਸ਼ਲਮਯਾਹ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ। (ਮਸ਼ਲਮਯਾਹ ਕੋਰੇ ਦਾ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਆਸਾਫ਼ ਦੇ ਘਰਾਣੇ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਸੀ।)

2 And Meshelemiah had sons: Zechariah the first-born, Jediael the second, Zebadiah the third, Jathniel the fourth,ਮਸ਼ਲਮਯਾਹ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰਾਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਜ਼ਕਰਯਾਹ ਪਹਿਲੋਠਾ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਸੀ, ਯਦੀਅੇਲ ਦੂਜਾ, ਜ਼ਬਦਯਾਹ ਤੀਜਾ ਅਤੇ ਯਥਨੀਏਲ ਚੌਥਾ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਸੀ।

3 Elam the fifth, Jehohanan the sixth, Eliehoenai the seventh.ਏਲਾਮ ਮਸ਼ਲਮਯਾਹ ਦਾ ਪੰਜਵਾਂ, ਯਹੋਹਾਨਾਨ ਛੇਵਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਅਲਯਹੋਏਨਈ ਸੱਤਵਾਂ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਸੀ।

4 And Obed-edom had sons: Shemaiah the first-born, Jehozabad the second, Joah the third, and Sacar the fourth, and Nethanel the fifth,ਓਬੇਦ-ਅਦੋਮ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ-ਓਬੇਦ-ਅਦੋਮ ਦੇ ਪਹਿਲੋਠੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਦਾ ਨਾਉਂ ਸ਼ਮਆਯਾਹ ਤੇ ਦੂਜੇ ਦਾ ਯਹੋਜ਼ਾਬਾਦ, ਯੋਆਹ ਤੀਜਾ ਸਾਕਾਰ ਚੌਥਾ ਅਤੇ ਨਥਾਨਿਏਲ ਪੰਜਵਾਂ ਸੀ।

5 Ammiel the sixth, Issachar the seventh, Peullethai the eighth; for God blessed him.ਅੰਮੀਏਲ ਉਸਦਾ ਛੇਵਾਂ ਪੁੱਤਰ, ਯਿੱਸਾਕਾਰ ਸੱਤਵਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਪਉਲਥਈ ਉਸਦਾ ਅੱਠਵਾਂ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਸੀ। ਓਬੇਦ-ਅਦੋਮ ਤੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੀ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਸੀ।

6 Also unto Shemaiah his son were sons born, that ruled over the house of their father; for they were mighty men of valor.ਸ਼ਮਆਯਾਹ ਓਬੇਦ-ਅਦੋਮ ਦਾ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਸੀ। ਸ਼ਮਆਯਾਹ ਦੇ ਵੀ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਸਨ ਜੋ ਕਿ ਆਪਣੇ ਪਿਤਾ ਦੇ ਘਰਾਣੇ ਦੇ ਆਗੂ ਸਨ ਕਿਉਂ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਵੀਰ ਬਹਾਦੁਰ ਸਨ।

7 The sons of Shemaiah: Othni, and Rephael, and Obed, Elzabad, whose brethren were valiant men, Elihu, and Semachiah.ਸ਼ਮਆਯਾਹ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਸਨ: ਆਥਨੀ, ਰਫ਼ਾਏਲ, ਓਬੇਦ, ਅਲਜ਼ਾਬਾਦ, ਅਲੀਹੂ ਅਤੇ ਸਮਕਯਾਹ। ਅਲਜ਼ਾਬਾਦ ਦੇ ਰਿਸ਼ਤੇਦਾਰ ਨਿਪੁਣ ਕਾਰੀਗਰ ਸਨ।

8 All these were of the sons of Obed-edom: they and their sons and their brethren, able men in strength for the service; threescore and two of Obed-edom.ਇਹ ਸਾਰੇ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਓਬੇਦ-ਅਦੋਮ ਦੇ ਉੱਤਰਾਧਿਕਾਰੀ ਸਨ। ਇਹ ਸਾਰੇ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਅਤੇ ਰਿਸ਼ਤੇਦਾਰ ਸਭ ਬੜੇ ਸ਼ਕਤੀਸ਼ਾਲੀ ਸਨ। ਇਹ ਇੱਕ ਚੰਗੇ ਦਰਬਾਨ ਵੀ ਸਨ। ਓਬੇਦ-ਅਦੋਮ ਦੇ 62 ਉੱਤਰਾਧਿਕਾਰੀ ਸਨ।

9 And Meshelemiah had sons and brethren, valiant men, eighteen.ਮਸ਼ਲਮਯਾਹ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਅਤੇ ਰਿਸ਼ਤੇਦਾਰ ਬੜੇ ਸ਼ਕਤੀਸ਼ਾਲੀ ਸਨ, ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਗਿਣਤੀ 18 ਸੀ।

10 Also Hosah, of the children of Merari, had sons: Shimri the chief, (for though he was not the first-born, yet his father made him chief),ਮਰਾਰੀ ਘਰਾਣੇ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਦਰਬਾਨ ਇਹ ਸਨ: ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੋਸਾਹ ਸੀ। ਸ਼ਿਮਰੀ ਉਸ ਦਾ ਪਹਿਲਾ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਚੁਣਿਆ ਗਿਆ। (ਭਾਵੇਂ ਸ਼ਿਮਰੀ ਉਸਦਾ ਪਹਿਲੋਠਾ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਨਹੀਂ ਸੀ ਪਰ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਪਿਤਾ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਪਹਿਲੋਠਾ ਜੰਮਿਆ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਚੁਣਿਆ।)

11 Hilkiah the second, Tebaliah the third, Zechariah the fourth: all the sons and brethren of Hosah were thirteen.ਹਿਲਕੀਯਾਹ ਉਸਦਾ ਦੂਜਾ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਸੀ, ਟਬਲਯਾਹ ਤੀਜਾ ਤੇ ਜ਼ਕਰਯਾਹ ਚੌਥਾ। ਕੁਲ ਮਿਲਾ ਕੇ ਹੋਸਾਹ ਦੇ 13 ਪੁੱਤਰ ਅਤੇ ਸੰਬੰਧੀ ਸਨ।

12 Of these were the courses of the doorkeepers, even of the chief men, having offices like their brethren, to minister in the house of Jehovah.ਇਹ ਦਰਬਾਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਸਮੂਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਆਗੂ ਸਨ। ਦਰਬਾਨਾਂ ਦਾ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੇ ਮੰਦਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਸੇਵਾ ਕਰਨ ਦਾ ਇੱਕ ਵਿਸ਼ੇਸ਼ ਢੰਗ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਸੀ, ਜਿਸ ਤਰੀਕੇ ਉਹ ਸੇਵਾ ਕਰਦੇ ਸਨ। ਇਹ ਤਰੀਕਾ ਉਹੀ ਸੀ ਜਿਵੇਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਸੰਬੰਧੀ ਕਰਦੇ ਸਨ।

13 And they cast lots, as well the small as the great, according to their fathers' houses, for every gate.ਹਰ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਕੋਲ ਰੱਖਿਆ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਇੱਕ ਫ਼ਾਟਕ ਅਤੇ ਫ਼ਾਟਕ ਦੀ ਚੋਣ ਗੁਣੇ ਪਾਕੇ ਹੁੰਦੀ ਸੀ। ਬੁੱਢਿਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਜਵਾਨਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਇੱਕੋ ਜਿਹਾ ਵਰਤਾਵਾ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਸੀ।

14 And the lot eastward fell to Shelemiah. Then for Zechariah his son, a discreet counsellor, they cast lots; and his lot came out northward.ਸ਼ਲਮਯਾਹ ਨੂੰ ਪੂਰਬੀ ਫ਼ਾਟਕ ਦੀ ਰੱਖਵਾਲੀ ਲਈ ਚੁਣਿਆ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ। ਫ਼ਿਰ ਸ਼ਲਮਯਾਹ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਜ਼ਕਰਯਾਹ ਲਈ ਗੁਣੇ ਪਾਏ ਗਏ। ਜ਼ਕਰਯਾਹ ਇੱਕ ਬੁੱਧੀਮਾਨ ਸਲਾਹਕਾਰ ਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਉੱਤਰੀ ਫ਼ਾਟਕ ਲਈ ਚੁਣਿਆ ਗਿਆ।

15 To Obed-edom southward; and to his sons the store-house.ਓਬੇਦ-ਅਦੋਮ ਨੂੰ ਦੱਖਣੀ ਫ਼ਾਟਕ ਦੀ ਰੱਖਵਾਲੀ ਲਈ ਚੁਣਿਆ ਗਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਘਰ ਦੀ ਰੱਖਵਾਲੀ ਲਈ ਚੁਣਿਆ ਗਿਆ ਜਿੱਥੇ ਕਿ ਬੜੀਆਂ ਵੱਡਮੁੱਲੀ ਵਸਤਾਂ ਪਈਆਂ ਸਨ।

16 To Shuppim and Hosah westward, by the gate of Shallecheth, at the causeway that goeth up, watch against watch.ਸ਼ੱਪੀਮ ਅਤੇ ਹੋਸਾਹ ਲਈ ਪੱਛਮੀ ਫ਼ਾਟਕ ਦੀ ਰੱਖਵਾਲੀ ਦਾ ਕੰਮ ਅਤੇ ਉੱਪਰਲੀ ਸੜਕ ਦੇ ਸ਼ੱਲਕਥ ਫ਼ਾਟਕ ਦੀ ਰੱਖਵਾਲੀ ਦਾ ਕੰਮ ਸੌਂਪਿਆ ਗਿਆ। ਦਰਬਾਨ ਬਿਲਕੁਲ ਇੱਕ ਦੂਜੇ ਦੇ ਬਰਾਬਰ ਖੜ੍ਹੇ ਹੋਕੇ ਕੇ ਪਹਿਰਾ ਦਿੰਦੇ ਸਨ।

17 Eastward were six Levites, northward four a day, southward four a day, and for the store-house two and two.ਛੇ ਲੇਵੀ ਹਰ ਰੋਜ਼ ਪੂਰਬੀ ਫ਼ਾਟਕ ਉੱਪਰ, ਚਾਰ ਉੱਤਰੀ ਫ਼ਾਟਕ ਵੱਲ, 4 ਦੱਖਣੀ ਫ਼ਾਟਕ ਉੱਪਰ ਖੜ੍ਹੇ ਹੋਕੇ ਪਹਿਰਾ ਦਿੰਦੇ ਸਨ ਅਤੇ ਦੋ ਲੇਵੀ ਦਰਬਾਨ ਘਰ ਦੇ ਕੀਮਤੀ ਅਸਬਾਬ ਦੀ ਦੇਖ ਰੇਖ ਕਰਦੇ ਸਨ।

18 For Parbar westward, four at the causeway, and two at Parbar.ਪੱਛਮੀ ਪਰਬਾਰ ਤੇ ਹਰ ਰੋਜ਼ 4 ਪਹਿਰੇਦਾਰ ਖੜੇ ਹੁੰਦੇ ਸਨ ਅਤੇ 2 ਪਹਿਰੇਦਾਰ ਉਸ ਰਾਹ ਤੇ ਪਹਿਰਾ ਦਿੰਦੇ ਸਨ ਜੋ ਇਸ ਦਰਬਾਰ ਵੱਲ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਸੀ।

19 These were the courses of the doorkeepers; of the sons of the Korahites, and of the sons of Merari.ਇਹ ਜੱਥੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਰਬਾਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਸਨ ਜੋ ਕਰਾਹੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਮਰਾਰੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਸਮੂਹਾਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਸਨ।

20 And of the Levites, Ahijah was over the treasures of the house of God, and over the treasures of the dedicated things.ਖਜ਼ਾਨਚੀ ਅਤੇ ਹੋਰ ਕਰਮਚਾਰੀ ਅਹੀਯਾਹ ਲੇਵੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ-ਸਮੂਹ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਉਸਦਾ ਕੰਮ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੇ ਮੰਦਰ ਅੰਦਰਲੀਆਂ ਕੀਮਤੀ ਵਸਤਾਂ ਦੀ ਦੇਖਭਾਲ ਕਰਨਾ ਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਹੋਰ ਜਿਹੜੀਆਂ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਵਸਤਾਂ ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਥਾਵਾਂ ਉੱਪਰ ਰੱਖੀਆਂ ਜਾਂਦੀਆਂ ਸਨ, ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਸੰਭਾਲ ਦੀ ਜਿੰਮੇਵਾਰੀ ਵੀ ਅਹੀਯਾਹ ਦੀ ਹੀ ਸੀ।

21 The sons of Ladan, the sons of the Gershonites belonging to Ladan, the heads of the fathers' `houses' belonging to Ladan the Gershonite: Jehieli.ਲਅਦਾਨ ਗੇਰਸ਼ੋਨ ਘਰਾਣੇ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਸੀ। ਯਹੀਏਲੀ ਲਅਦਾਨ ਦੇ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ-ਸਮੂਹ ਦੇ ਮੁਖੀਆਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਇੱਕ ਸੀ।

22 The sons of Jehieli: Zetham, and Joel his brother, over the treasures of the house of Jehovah.ਯਹੀਏਲੀ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਜ਼ੇਥਨ ਅਤੇ ਜ਼ੇਥਨ ਦੇ ਭਰਾ ਯੋਏਲ ਸੀ। ਇਹ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੇ ਮੰਦਰ ਦੀਆਂ ਕੀਮਤੀ ਵਸਤਾਂ ਲਈ ਜਿੰਮੇਵਾਰ ਸਨ।

23 Of the Amramites, of the Izharites, of the Hebronites, of the Uzzielites:ਬਾਕੀ ਦੇ ਮੁਖੀ ਅਮਰਾਮ, ਯਿਸਹਾਰ, ਹਬਰੋਨ ਅਤੇ ਉੱਜ਼ੀਏਲ ਚੋ ਚੁਣੇ ਗਏ।

24 and Shebuel the son of Gershom, the son of Moses, was ruler over the treasures.ਸ਼ਬੁਏਲ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੇ ਮੰਦਰ ਦੇ ਵੱਡਮੁੱਲੀ ਖਜ਼ਾਨੇ ਦੀ ਸੰਭਾਲ ਲਈ ਜਿੰਮੇਵਾਰ ਸੀ ਜੋ ਕਿ ਗੇਰਸ਼ੋਮ ਦਾ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਗੇਰਸ਼ੋਮ ਮੂਸਾ ਦਾ ਪੁੱਤਰ।

25 And his brethren: of Eliezer `came' Rehabiah his son, and Jeshaiah his son, and Joram his son, and Zichri his son, and Shelomoth his son.ਸ਼ਬੁਏਲ ਦੇ ਸੰਬੰਧੀ ਇਉਂ ਸਨ: ਅਲੀਅਜ਼ਰ ਤੋਂ ਰਹਬਯਾਹ, ਉਸਦਾ ਪੁੱਤਰ। ਯਸ਼ਅਯਾਹ, ਰਹਬਯਾਹ ਦਾ ਪੁੱਤਰ। ਯੋਰਾਮ ਯਸ਼ਅਯਾਹ ਦਾ ਪੁੱਤਰ। ਜ਼ਿਕਰੀ, ਯੋਰਾਮ ਦਾ ਪੁੱਤਰ। ਅਤੇ ਸ਼ਲੋਮੋਥ, ਜ਼ਿਕਰੀ ਦਾ ਪੁੱਤਰ।

26 This Shelomoth and his brethren were over all the treasures of the dedicated things, which David the king, and the heads of the fathers' `houses', the captains over thousands and hundreds, and the captains of the host, had dedicated.ਸ਼ਲੋਮੋਥ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਸੰਬੰਧੀ ਉਸ ਸਾਰੇ ਸਾਮਾਨ ਲਈ ਜਿੰਮੇਵਾਰ ਸਨ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਦਾਊਦ ਨੇ ਮੰਦਰ ਲਈ ਇਕੱਠਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਸੀ। ਫ਼ੌਜ ਦੇ ਸਰਦਾਰਾਂ ਨੇ ਵੀ ਮੰਦਰ ਦੀ ਭੇਟਾ ਲਈ ਯੋਗਦਾਨ ਦਿੱਤਾ।

27 Out of the spoil won in battles did they dedicate to repair the house of Jehovah.ਕੁਝ ਸਮਾਨ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਉਹ ਯੁੱਧਾਂ ਚੋ ਜਿੱਤ ਕੇ ਲਿਆਏ ਸਨ, ਉਹ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਵਸਤਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੇ ਮੰਦਰ ਦੀ ਉਸਾਰੀ ਲਈ ਵਰਤੋਂ ’ਚ ਲਿਆਂਦਾ ਜਾਵੇ।

28 And all that Samuel the seer, and Saul the son of Kish, and Abner the son of Ner, and Joab the son of Zeruiah, had dedicated, whosoever had dedicated anything, it was under the hand of Shelomoth, and of his brethren.ਸ਼ਲੋਮੋਥ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਸੰਬੰਧੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਵਸਤਾਂ ਦੀ ਵੀ ਦੇਖਭਾਲ ਕੀਤੀ, ਜਿਹੜੀਆਂ ਵਸਤਾਂ ਸਮੂਏਲ ਅਗੰਮ ਗਿਆਨੀ ਨੇ, ਕੀਸ਼ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਸ਼ਾਊਲ, ਨੇਰ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਅਬਨੇਰ, ਸਰੂਯਾਹ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਯੋਆਬ ਨੇ ਅਰਪਣ ਕੀਤੀਆਂ ਸਨ। ਸ਼ਲੋਮੋਥ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਭਰਾ-ਭਾਈ ਸਭ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਵਸਤਾਂ ਜਿਹੜੀਆਂ ਲੋਕ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਲਈ ਭੇਟ ਕਰਦੇ, ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਸਾਂਭ-ਸੰਭਾਲ ਕਰਦੇ ਸਨ।

29 Of the Izharites, Chenaniah and his sons were for the outward business over Israel, for officers and judges.ਕਨਨਯਾਹ ਯਿਸਹਾਰੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਘਰਾਣੇ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਸੀ। ਕਨਨਯਾਹ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰਾਂ ਨੇ ਮੰਦਰ ਦੇ ਬਾਹਰ ਦਾ ਕੰਮ ਸੰਭਾਲਿਆ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਵੱਖੋ-ਵੱਖ ਭਾਗਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਨਿਆਂਕਾਰਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਪੁਲਸੀਆਂ ਦਾ ਕੰਮ ਕੀਤਾ।

30 Of the Hebronites, Hashabiah and his brethren, men of valor, a thousand and seven hundred, had the oversight of Israel beyond the Jordan westward, for all the business of Jehovah, and for the service of the king.ਹਸ਼ਬਯਾਹ ਹਬਰੋਨ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਸੀ। ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਸੰਬੰਧੀ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੇ ਮੰਦਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਾਰੇ ਕੰਮ ਅਤੇ ਯਰਦਨ ਦਰਿਆ ਦੇ ਪੱਛਮੀ ਪਾਸੇ ਵੱਲ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਰਾਜੇ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਵਿਉਪਾਰ ਲਈ ਜਿੰਮੇਵਾਰ ਸਨ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਸਮੂਹ ਵਿੱਚ 1,700 ਸ਼ਕਤੀਸ਼ਾਲੀ ਆਦਮੀ ਸਨ।

31 Of the Hebronites was Jerijah the chief, even of the Hebronites, according to their generations by fathers' `houses'. In the fortieth year of the reign of David they were sought for, and there were found among them mighty men of valor at Jazer of Gilead.ਹਬਰੋਨ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਦੇ ਇਤਿਹਾਸ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਯਰੀਯਾਹ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾ ਆਗੂ ਸੀ। ਦਾਊਦ ਦੇ ਸ਼ਾਸਨ ਦੇ 40 ਵਰ੍ਹੇ ਦੌਰਾਨ, ਉਸ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਪਰਿਵਾਰਿਕ ਇਤਿਹਾਸਾਂ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਬਹਾਦੁਰ ਸਿਪਾਹੀਆਂ ਮਾਹਿਰ ਅਤੇ ਆਦਮੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਲੱਭਣ ਦਾ ਆਦੇਸ਼ ਦਿੱਤਾ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਕੁਝ ਲੋਕ ਯਅਜ਼ੇਰ ਨਗਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਗਿਲਆਦ ਤੋਂ ਹਬਰੋਨ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਲੱਭੇ।

32 And his brethren, men of valor, were two thousand and seven hundred, heads of fathers' `houses', whom king David made overseers over the Reubenites, and the Gadites, and the half-tribe of the Manassites, for every matter pertaining to God, and for the affairs of the king.ਯਰੀਯਾਹ ਦੇ 2,700 ਸੰਬੰਧੀ ਸਨ ਜੋ ਬਹੁਤ ਮਜ਼ਬੂਤ ਅਤੇ ਘਰਾਣਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਆਗੂ ਸਨ। ਦਾਊਦ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਰਊਬੇਨ, ਗਾਦ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ-ਸਮੂਹ ਅਤੇ ਮਨੱਸ਼ਹ ਦੇ ਅੱਧੇ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਸਮੂਹ ਦੀ, ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਕੰਮਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਰਾਜੇ ਦੇ ਕੰਮਾਂ ਲਈ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਅਗਵਾਈ ਕਰਨ ਦੀ ਜਿੰਮੇਵਾਰੀ ਦਿੱਤੀ।
