ਅਤੀਤ ਵਿੱਚ, ਇਸੇ ਢੰਗ ਨਾਲ, ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਔਰਤਾਂ, ਆਪਣੀ ਆਸ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਰੱਖਕੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਆਪ ਨੂੰ ਸੁੰਦਰ ਬਣਾਉਂਦੀਆਂ ਸਨ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਪਤੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਅਧਿਕਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਸਵੀਕਾਰਿਆ ਸੀ।
