ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦਾ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਅਹਾਬ ਅਤੇ ਯਹੂਦਾਹ ਦਾ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਯਹੋਸ਼ਾਫ਼ਾਟ ਆਪੋ-ਆਪਣੀਆਂ ਰਾਜ-ਗੱਦੀਆਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹੀ ਪੋਸ਼ਾਕ ਪਾ ਕੇ ਇੱਕ ਪਿੜ ਵਿੱਚ ਜੋ ਸਾਮਰਿਯਾ ਦੇ ਫ਼ਾਟਕ ਅੱਗੇ ਬੈਠੇ ਹੋਏ ਸਨ। ਅਤੇ 400 ਨਬੀ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਅੱਗੇ ਅਗੰਮ ਵਾਚ ਰਹੇ ਸਨ।

Ezekiel 26:16
ਫ਼ੇਰ ਸਮੁੰਦਰ ਕੰਢੇ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਦੇਸਾਂ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਆਗੂ ਆਪਣੇ ਤਖਤਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਹੇਠਾਂ ਉਤਰ ਆਉਣਗੇ ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣਾ ਗ਼ਮ ਪ੍ਰਗਟ ਕਰਨਗੇ। ਉਹ ਆਪਣੇ ਖੂਬਸੂਰਤ ਚੋਲੇ ਉਤਾਰ ਦੇਣਗੇ। ਉਹ ਆਪਣੇ ਖੂਬਸੂਰਤ ਬਸਤਰ ਉਤਾਰ ਦੇਣਗੇ। ਫ਼ੇਰ ਉਹ ਆਪਣੇ ਡਰ ਵਾਲੇ ਬਸਤਰ ਪਾ ਲੈਣਗੇ। ਉਹ ਧਰਤੀ ਉੱਤੇ ਬੈਠ ਜਾਣਗੇ ਅਤੇ ਡਰ ਨਾਲ ਕੰਬਣਗੇ। ਉਹ ਇਸ ਤੱਬ ਤੋਂ ਹੈਰਾਨ ਹੋ ਜਾਣਗੇ ਕਿ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਕਿੰਨੀ ਛੇਤੀ ਨਾਲ ਤਬਾਹ ਹੋ ਗਏ ਸੀ।

ਅਹਾਬ ਨੇ ਯਹੋਸ਼ਾਫ਼ਾਟ ਨੂੰ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਮੈਂ ਜੰਗ ਵਿੱਚ ਜਾਣ ਤੋਂ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਆਪਣਾ ਭੇਸ ਬਦਲ ਲਵਾਂਗਾ, ਪਰ ਤੂੰ ਆਪਣੀ ਪੋਸ਼ਾਕ ਪਾਈ ਰੱਖ।” ਤਾਂ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਅਹਾਬ ਨੇ ਆਪਣਾ ਭੇਸ ਵਟਾਅ ਲਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਦੋਨੋ ਲੜਾਈ ਲਈ ਚੱਲੇ ਗਏ।
