ਪਰ ਤੂੰ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੇ ਹੁਕਮ ਨੂੰ ਅਣਗੌਲਿਆ ਕਿਉਂ ਕੀਤਾ? ਤੂੰ ਉਹ ਸਭ ਕੁਝ ਕਿਉਂ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਿਸ ਨੂੰ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਗ਼ਲਤ ਆਖ ਮਨ੍ਹਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਸੀ? ਤੂੰ ਹਿੱਤੀ ਊਰਿੱਯਾਹ ਨੂੰ ਕਿਉਂ ਤਲਵਾਰ ਨਾਲ ਵਢਾਇਆ ਅਤੇ ਉਸਦੀ ਪਤਨੀ ਨੂੰ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਆਪਣੀ ਬਣਾਇਆ? ਇਉਂ ਤੂੰ ਅੰਮੋਨੀਆਂ ਕੋਲੋਂ ਊਰਿੱਯਾਹ ਨੂੰ ਤਲਵਾਰ ਨਾਲ ਮਰਵਾਇਆ।

ਯਹੂਦਾਹ ਲਈ ਸਜ਼ਾ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਇਉਂ ਕਿਹਾ: “ਮੈਂ ਯਹੂਦਾਹ ਨੂੰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਅਨੇਕਾਂ ਪਾਪਾਂ ਕਾਰਣ ਜ਼ਰੂਰ ਦੰਡ ਦੇਵਾਂਗਾ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੇ ਆਦੇਸਾਂ ਦੀ ਪਾਲਣਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਕੀਤੀ ਅਤੇ ਨਾ ਹੀ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਅਸੂਲਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਮੰਨਿਆ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਪੁਰਖਿਆਂ ਨੇ ਝੂਠੇ ਦੇਵਤਿਆਂ ’ਚ ਵਿਸ਼ਵਾਸ ਕਰਨਾ ਜਾਰੀ ਰੱਖਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਯਹੂਦਾਹ ਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਹੀ ਰਾਹ ਤੋਂ ਭਟਕਾਇਆ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ। ਅਤੇ ਇਸਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨੂੰ ਛੁਡਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ।
Jeremiah 18:10

2 Chronicles 33:6

ਇਸ ਲਈ, ਹਿੰਸਕ ਮੌਤ ਬਾਰ-ਬਾਰ ਤੇਰੇ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਮਾਰੇਗੀ। ਤੂੰ ਊਰਿੱਯਾਹ ਹਿੱਤੀ ਦੀ ਪਤਨੀ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੀ ਪਤਨੀ ਬਨਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਲੈ ਆਇਆ ਅਤੇ ਅਜਿਹਾ ਕਰਕੇ ਤੂੰ ਸਾਬਿਤ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਕਿ ਤੂੰ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਤਿਰਸਕਾਰਦਾ ਹੈਂ।’

ਦਾਊਦ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਮਨੁੱਖਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਉਸ ਔਰਤ ਨੂੰ ਲਿਆਉਣ ਲਈ ਭੇਜਿਆ। ਜਦੋਂ ਉਹ ਦਾਊਦ ਕੋਲ ਆਈ ਤਾਂ ਦਾਊਦ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਔਰਤ ਨਾਲ ਸੰਭੋਗ ਕੀਤਾ। ਫ਼ਿਰ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੀ ਅਸ਼ੁੱਧਤਾ ਨੂੰ ਧੋਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਘਰ ਵਾਪਸ ਚਲੀ ਗਈ।
Numbers 15:30
“ਪਰ ਜੇ ਕੋਈ ਬੰਦਾ ਪਾਪ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਇਹ ਵੀ ਜਾਣਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਗਲਤ ਕੰਮ ਕਰ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ, ਤਾਂ ਉਹ ਬੰਦਾ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੇ ਵਿਰੁੱਧ ਹੈ। ਉਸ ਬੰਦੇ ਨੂੰ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨਾਲੋਂ ਵੱਖ ਕਰ ਦੇਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ। ਇਹ ਗੱਲ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਜੰਮੇ ਬੰਦੇ ਲਈ ਜਾਂ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਦਰਮਿਆਨ ਰਹਿਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਵਿਦੇਸ਼ੀ ਲਈ ਇੱਕੋ ਜਿਹੀ ਹੈ।
