ਅਬਰਾਮ ਦਾ ਲੂਤ ਨੂੰ ਛੁਡਾਉਣਾ ਅਬਰਾਮ ਨੂੰ ਪਤਾ ਚੱਲਿਆ ਕਿ ਲੂਤ ਫ਼ੜਿਆ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ। ਇਸ ਲਈ ਅਬਰਾਮ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਇਕੱਠਾ ਕਰ ਲਿਆ। ਉਸ ਵਿੱਚ 318 ਸਿਖਿਅਤ ਫ਼ੌਜੀ ਸਨ। ਅਬਰਾਮ ਨੇ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਆਦਮੀਆਂਂ ਦੀ ਅਗਵਾਈ ਕੀਤੀ ਅਤੇ ਦੁਸ਼ਮਣ ਨੂੰ ਦਾਨ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਤੱਕ ਭਜਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ।

ਸੁਲੇਮਾਨ ਨੇ ਬਆਲਾਥ ਅਤੇ ਭੰਡਾਰ ਦੇ ਗੋਦਾਮ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਦੁਬਾਰਾ ਬਣਵਾਏ। ਉਸ ਨੇ ਉਹ ਸਾਰੇ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਜਿੱਥੇ ਰੱਥ ਰੱਖੇ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਸਨ ਅਤੇ ਘੁੜਸਵਾਰ ਰਹਿੰਦੇ ਸਨ ਉਹ ਵੀ ਬਣਵਾਏ। ਜੋ ਕੁਝ ਸੁਲੇਮਾਨ ਯਰੂਸ਼ਲਮ, ਲਬਾਨੋਨ ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਰਾਜ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਦੇਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਚਾਹੁੰਦਾ ਸੀ ਉਹ ਕੁਝ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਬਣਵਾਇਆ।

ਤਦ ਬਨ-ਹਦਦ ਨੇ ਆਸਾ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਦਾ ਸੰਦੇਸ਼ ਸੁਣਿਆ ਤੇ ਆਪਣਿਆਂ ਫੌਜੀ ਅਫ਼ਸਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਨਗਰਾਂ ਈਯੋਨ, ਦਾਨ, ਆਬੇਲ-ਬੈਤ, ਮਆਕਾਹ ਅਤੇ ਗਲੀਲ ਝੀਲ ਦੇ ਆਸੇ-ਪਾਸੇ ਦੇ ਨਗਰਾਂ ਦੇ ਵਿਰੁੱਧ ਲੜਨ ਲਈ ਭੇਜਿਆ। ਉਸ ਨੇ ਨਫਤਾਲੀ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਇਲਾਕਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਹਰਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ।

Judges 20:1
ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਅਤੇ ਬਿਨਯਾਮੀਨ ਵਿੱਚਕਾਰ ਲੜਾਈ ਇਸ ਲਈ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਲੋਕ ਇਕੱਠੇ ਹੋ ਗਏ। ਉਹ ਮਸਫ਼ਾਹ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਵਿਖੇ ਆਕੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੇ ਸਨਮੁੱਖ ਖਲੋ ਗਏ। ਲੋਕ ਦਾਨ ਤੋਂ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਬਏਰਸ਼ਬਾ (ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਭਾਗਾਂ ਤੋਂ) ਆਏ। ਗਿਲਆਦ ਦੇ ਇਸਰਾਏਲੀ ਲੋਕ ਵੀ ਉੱਥੇ ਸਨ।
Judges 18:28
ਲਾਇਸ਼ ਵਿੱਚ ਰਹਿਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਬਚਾਉਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਕੋਈ ਨਹੀਂ ਸੀ। ਉਹ ਸੈਦੋਨ ਤੋਂ ਇੰਨੀ ਦੂਰ ਸਨ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਲੋਕ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਮਦਦ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰ ਸੱਕਦੇ ਸਨ ਅਤੇ ਲਾਇਸ਼ ਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦਾ ਕਿਸੇ ਆਦਮੀ ਨਾਲ ਵੀ ਕੋਈ ਇਕਰਾਰਨਾਮਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਸੀ-ਇਸ ਲਈ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਮਦਦ ਲਈ ਕੋਈ ਨਹੀਂ ਆ ਸੱਕਿਆ। ਲਾਇਸ਼ ਦਾ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਉਸ ਵਾਦੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਸੀ ਜਿਹੜੀ ਬੈਤਰਹੋਬ ਦੇ ਅਧੀਨ ਸੀ। ਦਾਨ ਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੇ ਇੱਕ ਨਵਾਂ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਉਸਾਰਿਆ। ਅਤੇ ਉੱਥੇ ਰਹਿਣ ਲੱਗ ਪਏ।
Exodus 1:11
ਇਸ ਲਈ ਮਿਸਰੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਗੁਲਾਮਾਂ ਵਾਂਗ ਕੰਮ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਮਜਬੂਰ ਕੀਤਾ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਇਸਰਾਏਲੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਤਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਉੱਪਰ ਕੰਮ ਨਿਰੀਖਕ ਨਿਯੁਕਤ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤੇ। ਜਦੋਂ ਉਹ ਫ਼ਿਰਊਨ ਲਈ ਭੰਡਾਰ ਰੱਖਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਫ਼ਿਤੋਮ ਤੇ ਰਾਮਸੇਸ ਉਸਾਰ ਰਹੇ ਸਨ।
2 Peter 2:15
ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਝੂਠੇ ਪ੍ਰਚਾਰਕਾਂ ਨੇ ਸਹੀ ਰਸਤਾ ਛੱਡ ਕੇ ਗਲਤ ਰਾਹ ਫ਼ੜ ਲਿਆ ਹੈ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਉਹੀ ਰਸਤਾ ਫ਼ੜਿਆ ਹੈ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਬਿਲਆਮ ਨੇ ਫ਼ੜਿਆ ਸੀ। ਬਿਲਆਮ ਬਿਓਰ ਦਾ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਸੀ। ਬਿਲਆਮ ਗਲਤ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਪੈਸੇ ਕੁਮਾਉਣ ਨੂੰ ਚੰਗਾ ਸਮਝਦਾ ਸੀ।
