Exodus 16:20
ਪਰ ਕੁਝ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੇ ਮੂਸਾ ਦੀ ਗੱਲ ਨਹੀਂ ਮੰਨੀ। ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੇ ਅਗਲੇ ਦਿਨ ਲਈ ਆਪਣਾ ਭੋਜਨ ਬਚਾਇਆ। ਪਰ ਭੋਜਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਕੀੜੇ ਪੈ ਗਏ ਅਤੇ ਇਹ ਸੜਨ ਲੱਗਾ। ਮੂਸਾ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਗੁੱਸੇ ਸੀ ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਅਜਿਹਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਸੀ।

ਇਸ ਲਈ ਮੂਸਾ ਬਹੁਤ ਕਰੋਧਵਾਨ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ। ਉਸ ਨੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੂੰ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਮੈਂ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਕੋਈ ਬੁਰਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਕੀਤਾ। ਮੈਂ ਕਦੇ ਵੀ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਪਾਸੋਂ ਕੁਝ ਨਹੀਂ ਲਿਆ-ਇੱਕ ਖੋਤਾ ਵੀ ਨਹੀਂ! ਯਹੋਵਾਹ, ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਸੁਗਾਤਾਂ ਪ੍ਰਵਾਨ ਨਾ ਕਰ।”
