Exodus 35:2
“ਕਂਮ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਛੇ ਦਿਨ ਹਨ। ਪਰ ਸੱਤਵੇ ਦਿਨ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਲਈ ਬਹੁਤ ਅਰਾਮ ਕਰਨ ਦਾ ਖਾਸ ਦਿਨ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ। ਤੁਸੀਂ ਉਸ ਦਿਨ ਅਰਾਮ ਕਰਕੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੂੰ ਆਦਰ ਦਿਉਂਗੇ। ਜਿਹੜਾ ਵੀ ਬੰਦਾ ਸੱਤਵੇਂ ਦਿਨ ਕੰਮ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ ਉਹ ਮਾਰਿਆ ਜਾਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ।

Numbers 15:32

Exodus 23:12

Hebrews 2:2

Deuteronomy 5:12
‘ਤੁਸੀਂ ਸਬਤ ਨੂੰ ਉਸੇ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਖਾਸ ਦਿਨ ਵਜੋਂ ਰੱਖੋਂਗੇ ਜਿਵੇਂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ, ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ, ਨੇ ਆਦੇਸ਼ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਸੀ।
