Genesis 29:33
ਲੇਆਹ ਫ਼ੇਰ ਤੋਂ ਗਰਭਵਤੀ ਹੋ ਗਈ ਅਤੇ ਇੱਕ ਹੋਰ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਨੂੰ ਜਨਮ ਦਿੱਤਾ। ਉਸ ਨੇ ਉਸਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਸ਼ਿਮਓਨ ਰੱਖਿਆ। ਲੇਆਹ ਨੇ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਜਾਣਦਾ ਕਿ ਮੇਰਾ ਪਤੀ ਮੇਰੀ ਅਣਗਹਿਲੀ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ, ਇਸ ਲਈ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਇਹ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ।”

ਲੇਆਹ ਨੇ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨੇ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਬਹੁਤ ਸੁੰਦਰ ਤੋਹਫ਼ਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ। ਹੈ। ਹੁਣ ਜ਼ਰੂਰ ਯਾਕੂਬ ਮੇਰੇ ਬਾਰੇ ਚੰਗਾ ਸੋਚੇਗਾ ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਮੈਂ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਛੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਦਿੱਤੇ ਹਨ।” ਇਸ ਲਈ ਲੇਆਹ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਜ਼ਬੂਲੁਨ ਧਰਿਆ।

ਪਰ ਯਾਕੂਬ ਨੇ ਸ਼ਿਮਓਨ ਅਤੇ ਲੇਵੀ ਨੂੰ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਤੁਸੀਂ ਮੇਰੇ ਲਈ ਕਈ ਦੁੱਖਾਂ ਦੇ ਕਾਰਣ ਬਣੇ ਹੋ ਇਸ ਥਾਂ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਲੋਕ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਨਫ਼ਰਤ ਕਰਨਗੇ। ਸਾਰੇ ਕਨਾਨੀ ਲੋਕ ਅਤੇ ਪਰਿਜ਼ੀ ਲੋਕ ਮੇਰੇ ਵਿਰੁੱਧ ਹੋ ਜਾਣਗੇ। ਅਸੀਂ ਗਿਣਤੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਬਹੁਤ ਘੱਟ ਹਾਂ। ਜੇ ਇਸ ਥਾਂ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਲੋਕ ਇਕੱਠੇ ਹੋਕੇ ਸਾਡੇ ਨਾਲ ਲੜਾਈ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਆ ਗਏ, ਮੈਂ ਤਬਾਹ ਹੋ ਜਾਵਾਂਗਾ, ਅਤੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਨਾਲ ਮੇਰੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਲੋਕ ਵੀ ਤਬਾਹ ਹੋ ਜਾਣਗੇ।”

Genesis 49:5
