Leviticus 14:46
ਕੋਈ ਵੀ ਬੰਦਾ ਜੋ ਉਸ ਘਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ ਜਦ ਉਹ ਘਰ ਬੰਦ ਪਿਆ ਹੋਵੇ, ਤਾਂ ਉਹ ਬੰਦਾ ਸ਼ਾਮ ਤੱਕ ਪਲੀਤ ਰਹੇਗਾ।

ਉਹ ਮਕੌੜੇ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਨਾਪਾਕ ਬਣਾ ਦੇਣਗੇ। ਜਿਹੜਾ ਵੀ ਬੰਦਾ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਮਕੌੜਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਮੁਰਦਾ ਸਰੀਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਹੱਥ ਲਾਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ ਉਹ ਸ਼ਾਮ ਤੱਕ ਨਾਪਾਕ ਰਹੇਗਾ।

ਜੇ ਕੋਈ ਬੰਦਾ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਲਾਸ਼ਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਚੁੱਕਦਾ ਹੈ, ਤਾਂ ਉਸ ਬੰਦੇ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਕੱਪੜੇ ਧੋ ਲੈਣੇ ਚਾਹੀਦੇ ਹਨ। ਉਹ ਬੰਦਾ ਸ਼ਾਮ ਤੱਕ ਨਾਪਾਕ ਰਹੇਗਾ। ਉਹ ਜਾਨਵਰ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਲਈ ਨਾਪਾਕ ਹਨ।
Leviticus 15:5

ਇਸ ਲਈ ਜੋ ਵੀ ਬੰਦਾ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਚੀਜ਼ਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਛੂਹ ਲੈਂਦਾ ਹੈ ਜਿਹੜੀਆਂ ਪ੍ਰਮੇਹ ਵਾਲੇ ਬੰਦੇ ਦੇ ਹੇਠਾਂ ਸਨ, ਸ਼ਾਮ ਤੱਕ ਪਲੀਤ ਰਹੇਗਾ। ਜਿਹੜਾ ਬੰਦਾ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਚੀਜ਼ਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਚੁੱਕਦਾ ਜਿਹੜੀਆਂ ਪ੍ਰਮੇਹ ਵਾਲੇ ਬੰਦੇ ਦੇ ਹੇਠਾਂ ਸਨ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਕੱਪੜੇ ਧੋਣੇ ਚਾਹੀਦੇ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੇ-ਆਪ ਨੂੰ ਪਾਣੀ ਨਾਲ ਧੋ ਲੈਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ। ਉਹ ਸ਼ਾਮ ਤੀਕ ਪਲੀਤ ਰਹੇਗਾ।

“ਇਸਤੋਂ ਇਲਾਵਾ, ਜੇ ਕੋਈ ਬੰਦਾ ਕਿਸੇ ਆਪਣੇ-ਆਪ ਮਰੇ ਹੋਏ ਜਾਨਵਰ ਨੂੰ ਖਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ, ਜਾਂ ਕੋਈ ਬੰਦਾ ਕਿਸੇ ਦੂਸਰੇ ਜਾਨਵਰ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਮਰੇ ਹੋਏ ਜਾਨਵਰ ਨੂੰ ਖਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ, ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਕੱਪੜੇ ਧੋਣੇ ਚਾਹੀਦੇ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣਾ ਸ਼ਰੀਰ ਪਾਣੀ ਨਾਲ ਧੋਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ। ਉਹ ਸ਼ਾਮ ਤੀਕ ਪਲੀਤ ਰਹੇਗਾ। ਫ਼ੇਰ ਉਹ ਪਾਕ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ। ਇਸ ਨਾਲ ਕੋਈ ਫ਼ਰਕ ਨਹੀਂ ਪੈਂਦਾ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਬੰਦਾ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦਾ ਨਾਗਰਿਕ ਹੈ ਜਾਂ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਦਰਮਿਆਨ ਰਹਿਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਕੋਈ ਵਿਦੇਸ਼ੀ ਹੈ।
Leviticus 22:6
ਉਹ ਸ਼ਾਮ ਤੀਕ ਪਲੀਤ ਰਹੇਗਾ। ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਉਨਾ ਚਿਰ ਕੋਈ ਵੀ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਭੋਜਨ ਨਹੀਂ ਖਾਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਜਿੰਨਾ ਚਿਰ ਉਹ ਆਪਣੇ-ਆਪ ਨੂੰ ਪਾਣੀ ਨਾਲ ਧੋ ਨਹੀਂ ਲੈਂਦਾ।

ਫ਼ੇਰ ਜਾਜਕ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਸ਼ਰੀਰ ਨੂੰ ਪਾਣੀ ਨਾਲ ਧੋਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ, ਆਪਣੇ ਵਸਤਰ ਧੋ ਲੈਣੇ ਚਾਹੀਦੇ ਹਨ, ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਡੇਰੇ ਅੰਦਰ ਵਾਪਸ ਆ ਜਾਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ। ਉਹ ਸ਼ਾਮ ਤੱਕ ਨਾਪਾਕ ਰਹੇਗਾ।
