Luke 9:62
ਯਿਸੂ ਨੇ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਜੇਕਰ ਕੋਈ ਆਪਣਾ ਹੱਥ ਹੱਲ ਤੇ ਰੱਖਕੇ ਪਿੱਛਾਹਾਂ ਝਾਕਦਾ ਹੈ, ਤਾਂ ਉਹ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੇ ਰਾਜ ਦੇ ਲਾਇੱਕ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ।”

Psalm 78:8

Luke 17:31
“ਉਸ ਦਿਨ ਜੇਕਰ ਕੋਈ ਆਪਣੇ ਘਰ ਦੀ ਛੱਤ ਤੇ ਹੈ, ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਦੀਆਂ ਚੀਜ਼ਾਂ ਘਰ ਦੇ ਅੰਦਰ ਹਨ ਤਾਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਲੈਣ ਵਾਸਤੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਥੱਲੇ ਨਹੀਂ ਜਾਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ। ਇਸੇ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਹੀ ਜੇਕਰ ਕੋਈ ਖੇਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੈ, ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਵਾਪਸ ਘਰ ਨਹੀਂ ਆਉਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ।
