Mark 2:1
ਯਿਸੂ ਦਾ ਇੱਕ ਅਧਰੰਗ ਤੋਂ ਪੀੜਤ ਆਦਮੀ ਨੂੰ ਠੀਕ ਕਰਨਾ ਕੁਝ ਦਿਨਾਂ ਬਾਦ ਯਿਸੂ ਕਫ਼ਰਨਾਹੂਮ ਵਿੱਚ ਵਾਪਸ ਪਹੁੰਚਿਆ। ਅਤੇ ਝੱਟ ਹੀ ਇਹ ਖਬਰ ਹਰ ਪਾਸੇ ਫ਼ੈਲ ਗਈ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਵਾਪਸ ਘਰ ਆ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ।

ਪਰ ਉਹ ਆਦਮੀ ਬਾਹਰ ਜਾਕੇ ਇਹ ਚਰਚਾ ਕਰਨ ਲੱਗਾ ਕਿ ਯਿਸੂ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਰਾਜੀ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ। ਇਉਂ ਯਿਸੂ ਦੀ ਖਬਰ ਸਭ ਜਗ੍ਹਾ ਫ਼ੈਲ ਗਈ। ਇਸ ਲਈ ਯਿਸੂ ਖੁਲ੍ਹੇ-ਆਮ ਕਿਸੇ ਨਗਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਨਾ ਵੜ ਸੱਕਿਆ। ਤਾਂ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਇੱਕਾਂਤ ਜਗ੍ਹਾਵਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਰਹਿਣਾ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ। ਪਰ ਤਾਂ ਵੀ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੇ ਸਭ ਨਗਰਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਯਿਸੂ ਕੋਲ ਆਉਣਾ ਜਾਰੀ ਰੱਖਿਆ।

ਯਿਸੂ ਦਾ ਗੈਰ-ਯਹੂਦੀ ਔਰਤ ਦੀ ਸਹਾਇਤਾ ਕਰਨਾ ਫ਼ੇਰ ਯਿਸੂ ਉੱਥੋਂ ਉੱਠ ਕੇ ਸੂਰ ਦੇ ਇਲਾਕੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਇਆ ਅਤੇ ਇੱਕ ਘਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਗਿਆ। ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਚਾਹੁੰਦਾ ਸੀ ਕਿ ਕਿਸੇ ਨੂੰ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਆਉਣ ਦੀ ਖਬਰ ਨਾ ਹੋਵੇ, ਪਰ ਉਹ ਆਪਣੇ-ਆਪ ਨੂੰ ਲੁਕਿਆ ਨਾ ਰੱਖ ਸੱਕਿਆ।
Luke 5:18
ਉੱਥੇ ਇੱਕ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਸੀ ਜਿਸ ਨੂੰ ਅਧਰੰਗ ਹੋਇਆ ਸੀ। ਕੁਝ ਲੋਕ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਮੰਜੀ ਤੇ ਚੁੱਕ ਕੇ ਲਿਆਏ। ਉਹ ਆਦਮੀ ਚਾਹੁੰਦੇ ਸਨ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਇਸ ਅਧਰੰਗੀ ਨੂੰ ਅੰਦਰ ਲੈਜਾਕੇ ਯਿਸੂ ਦੇ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਰੱਖਣ।
