ਤੁਸੀਂ ਅੰਨ੍ਹੇ ਆਗੂ ਹੋ! ਤੁਸੀਂ ਉਹ ਹੋ ਜੋ ਮਛਰ-ਮਖੀ ਤਾਂ ਪੁਣ ਲੈਂਦੇ ਹਨ ਪਰ ਊਠ ਨੂੰ ਨਿਗਲ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ।

ਜਾਂ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਭਰਾ ਨੂੰ ਕਿਵੇਂ ਆਖ ਸੱਕਦੇ ਹੋਂ, ‘ਲਿਆ ਮੈਂ ਤੇਰੀ ਅੱਖ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਧੂੜ ਦੇ ਕਣ ਨੂੰ ਕੱਢਾਂ’ ਜਦ ਕਿ ਹਾਲੇ ਵੀ ਤੁਹਾਡੀ ਆਪਣੀ ਅੱਖ ਵਿੱਚ ਸ਼ਤੀਰ ਹੈ?

“ਹੇ ਅੰਨ੍ਹੇ ਰਾਹ ਨੁਮਾਓ, ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਤੇ ਲਾਹਨਤ! ਤੁਸੀਂ ਆਖਦੇ ਹੋ, ‘ਜੇਕਰ ਕੋਈ ਮੰਦਰ ਦੀ ਸੌਂਹ ਖਾਵੇ ਇਸਦਾ ਕੋਈ ਅਰਥ ਨਹੀਂ ਪਰ ਜੇਕਰ ਉਹ ਮੰਦਰ ਦੇ ਸੋਨੇ ਦੀ ਸੌਂਹ ਖਾਵੇ, ਤਾਂ ਉਹ ਸੌਂਹ ਬੱਧ ਹੈ।’
John 18:28
ਯਿਸੂ ਨੂੰ ਪਿਲਾਤੁਸ ਕੋਲ ਲਿਜਾਇਆ ਗਿਆ ਤਦ ਯਹੂਦੀ ਯਿਸੂ ਨੂੰ ਕਯਾਫ਼ਾ ਦੀ ਕਚਿਹਰੀ ਚੋਂ ਕੱਢ ਕੇ ਰਾਜਪਾਲ ਦੇ ਮਹਿਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਲੈ ਗਏ। ਅਜੇ ਬਹੁਤ ਸਵੇਰਾ ਸੀ ਪਰ ਯਹੂਦੀ ਕਚਿਹਰੀ ਦੇ ਅੰਦਰ ਨਹੀਂ ਗਏ। ਉਹ ਆਪਣੇ-ਆਪ ਨੂੰ ਭ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਟ ਨਹੀਂ ਸੀ ਕਰਨਾ ਚਾਹੁੰਦੇ ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਉਹ ਪਸਾਹ ਦੇ ਤਿਉਹਾਰ ਦਾ ਭੋਜਨ ਕਰਨਾ ਚਾਹੁੰਦੇ ਸਨ।
John 18:40
ਤਾਂ ਯਹੂਦੀ ਉੱਚੀ ਅਵਾਜ਼ ਵਿੱਚ ਚੀਕੇ, “ਨਹੀਂ, ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਨਹੀਂ, ਪਰ ਤੂੰ ਬਰੱਬਾਸ ਨੂੰ ਮੁਕਤ ਕਰਦੇ।” ਬਰੱਬਾਸ ਇੱਕ ਡਾਕੂ ਸੀ।
