ਕੁਰਨੇਲਿਯੁਸ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ, “ਚਾਰ ਦਿਨ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਮੈਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਘਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਪ੍ਰਾਰਥਨਾ ਕਰ ਰਿਹਾ ਸਾਂ, ਇਹ ਦੁਪਹਿਰੇ ਤਿੰਨ ਕੁ ਵਜੇ ਦੇ ਆਸ-ਪਾਸ ਦਾ ਵਕਤ ਸੀ। ਅਚਾਨਕ ਇੱਕ ਦੂਤ ਮੇਰੇ ਅੱਗੇ ਆਕੇ ਖੜੋ ਗਿਆ, ਉਸ ਨੇ ਬੜੇ ਚਮਕੀਲੇ ਕੱਪੜੇ ਪਾਏ ਹੋਏ ਸਨ।
