Acts 16:36
ਦਰੋਗਾ ਨੇ ਪੌਲੁਸ ਨੂੰ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਆਗੂਆਂ ਨੇ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਸਿਪਾਹੀਆਂ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਰਿਹਾ ਕਰਨ ਦਾ ਹੁਕਮ ਦੇਕੇ ਭੇਜਿਆ ਹੈ, ਸੋ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਹੁਣ ਸ਼ਾਂਤੀ ਨਾਲ ਇੱਥੋਂ ਜਾ ਸੱਕਦੇ ਹੋ।”

ਜੇਲਰ ਜਾਗਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਕੈਦਖਾਨੇ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਦਰਵਾਜ਼ੇ ਖੁੱਲ੍ਹੇ ਵੇਖੇ। ਉਸ ਨੇ ਸੋਚਿਆ ਕਿ ਕੈਦੀ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਹੀ ਨਠ ਗਏ ਹਨ। ਇਸ ਲਈ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੀ ਤਲਵਾਰ ਕੱਢੀ ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੇ-ਆਪ ਨੂੰ ਮਾਰਨ ਹੀ ਵਾਲਾ ਸੀ।
John 14:27
“ਮੈਂ ਤੂਹਾਨੂੰ ਸ਼ਾਂਤੀ ਦੇ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹਾਂ। ਮੈਂ ਆਪਣੀ ਸ਼ਾਂਤੀ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਦਿੰਦਾ ਹਾਂ। ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਸੰਸਾਰ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਖਰੀ ਕਿਸਮ ਦੀ ਸ਼ਾਂਤੀ ਦਿੰਦਾ ਹਾਂ, ਇਸ ਲਈ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਦਿਲ ਦੁੱਖੀ ਅਤੇ ਘਬਰਾਏ ਹੋਏ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੋਣੇ ਚਾਹੀਦੇ।

ਮੂਸਾ ਮਿਸਰ ਪਰਤਦਾ ਹੈ ਤਾਂ ਮੂਸਾ ਆਪਣੇ ਸੌਹਰੇ ਯਿਥਰੋ ਵੱਲ ਵਾਪਸ ਚੱਲਾ ਗਿਆ। ਮੂਸਾ ਨੇ ਯਿਥਰੋ ਨੂੰ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਮਿਹਰਬਾਨੀ ਕਰਕੇ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਮਿਸਰ ਵਾਪਸ ਜਾਣ ਦਿਓ। ਮੈਂ ਦੇਖਣਾ ਚਾਹੁੰਦਾ ਹਾਂ ਕਿ ਕੀ ਮੇਰੇ ਲੋਕ ਹਾਲੇ ਵੀ ਜਿਉਂਦੇ ਹਨ।” ਯਿਥਰੋ ਨੇ ਮੂਸਾ ਨੂੰ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਜ਼ਰੂਰ। ਅਤੇ ਤੂੰ ਸ਼ਾਂਤੀ ਨਾਲ ਜਾ ਸੱਕਦਾ ਹੈਂ।”
