Acts 17:6
ਪਰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਪੌਲੁਸ ਅਤੇ ਸੀਲਾਸ ਉੱਥੇ ਨਾ ਮਿਲੇ ਤਾਂ ਲੋਕ ਯਾਸੋਨ ਅਤੇ ਕੁਝ ਹੋਰ ਨਿਹਚਾਵਾਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਖਿੱਚ ਕੇ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਦੇ ਆਗੂਆਂ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਲੈ ਆਏ ਅਤੇ ਡੰਡ ਪਾਉਣ ਲੱਗੇ ਕਿ, “ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਸੰਸਾਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਭ ਨੂੰ ਦੁੱਖੀ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੈ। ਤੇ ਹੁਣ ਉਹ ਇੱਥੇ ਵੀ ਆ ਪਹੁੰਚੇ ਹਨ।

Acts 16:19

Acts 6:12

Luke 23:5
ਪਰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਬਾਰ-ਬਾਰ ਇਹੀ ਕਿਹਾ, “ਇਹ ਆਪਣੇ ਉਪਦੇਸ਼ਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਸਾਰੇ ਯਹੂਦਿਯਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਭੜਕਾਉਣ ਦੀ ਕੋਸ਼ਿਸ਼ ਕਰ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ। ਉਸ ਨੇ ਇਹ ਕਰਨਾ ਗਲੀਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਕੀਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਹੁਣ ਇਹ ਇੱਥੇ ਵੀ ਆ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ।”
Matthew 24:14
ਅਤੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੇ ਰਾਜ ਬਾਰੇ ਇਹ ਖੁਸ਼ਖਬਰੀ ਸਾਰੀ ਦੁਨੀਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਫ਼ੈਲਾਈ ਜਾਵੇਗੀ। ਹਰ ਇੱਕ ਕੌਮ ਨੂੰ ਇਸ ਬਾਰੇ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ ਉਸ ਤੋਂ ਮਗਰੋਂ ਅੰਤ ਆਵੇਗਾ।
Amos 7:10
ਅਮਸਯਾਹ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਆਮੋਸ ਨੂੰ ਰੋਕਣ ਦੀ ਕੋਸ਼ਿਸ਼ ਤਦ ਬੈਤ-ੇਲ ਦੇ ਜਾਜਕ ਅਮਸਯਾਹ ਨੇ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਨੂੰ ਇਹ ਸੁਨੇਹਾ ਭੇਜਿਆ, “ਆਮੋਸ ਤੇਰੇ ਵਿਰੁੱਧ ਮਤਾ ਪਕਾ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੀ ਪਰਜਾ ਨੂੰ ਤੇਰੇ ਵਿਰੁੱਧ ਭੜਕਾਅ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ। ਦੇਸ ਉਸ ਦੀਆਂ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਬਰਦਾਸ਼ਤ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰ ਸੱਕਦਾ।
Jeremiah 38:2
“ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਇਹ ਆਖਦਾ ਹੈ: ‘ਜਿਹੜਾ ਵੀ ਯਰੂਸ਼ਲਮ ਵਿੱਚ ਠਹਿਰੇਗਾ ਉਹ ਤਲਵਾਰ ਨਾਲ ਭੁੱਖ ਨਾਲ ਜਾਂ ਭਿਆਨਕ ਬਿਮਾਰੀ ਨਾਲ ਮਰੇਗਾ। ਪਰ ਹਰ ਉਹ ਬੰਦਾ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਬਾਬਲ ਦੀ ਫ਼ੌਜ ਅੱਗੇ ਆਤਮ-ਸਮਰਪਣ ਕਰੇਗਾ ਉਹ ਜੀਵੇਗਾ। ਉਹ ਬੰਦੇ ਆਪਣੀਆਂ ਜਾਨਾਂ ਬਚਾਕੇ ਨਿਕਲ ਜਾਣਗੇ।’

ਜਦੋਂ ਅਹਾਬ ਨੇ ਏਲੀਯਾਹ ਨੂੰ ਵੇਖਿਆ ਤਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ, “ਕੀ ਇਹ ਤੂੰ ਹੀ ਹੈਂ? ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਨੂੰ ਦੁੱਖ ਦੇਣ ਵਾਲਿਆ!”

ਹੁਣ ਮੈਂ ਹੇਠਾਂ ਜਾਵਾਂਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਮਿਸਰੀਆਂ ਤੋਂ ਬਚਾਵਾਂਗਾ। ਮੈਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਇਸ ਧਰਤੀ ਤੋਂ ਕੱਢ ਕੇ ਉਸ ਧਰਤੀ ਤੇ ਲੈ ਜਾਵਾਂਗਾ ਜੋ ਚੰਗੀ ਅਤੇ ਵਿਸ਼ਾਲ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਦੁੱਧ ਅਤੇ ਸ਼ਹਿਦ ਜਿਹੀਆਂ ਚੰਗੀਆਂ ਚੀਜ਼ਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਭਰਪੂਰ ਹੈ। ਭਿੰਨ-ਭਿੰਨ ਕੌਮਾਂ ਦੇ ਲੋਕ ਉੱਥੇ ਰਹਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ, ਉਹ ਹਨ; ਕਨਾਨੀ, ਹਿੱਤੀ, ਅਮੋਰੀ, ਫ਼ਰਿੱਜ਼ੀ, ਹਿੱਵੀ ਅਤੇ ਯਬੂਸੀ।
