Acts 19:33
ਯਹੂਦੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਇੱਕ ਸਿਕੰਦਰ ਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਆਦਮੀ ਨੂੰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਖੜ੍ਹਾ ਕੀਤਾ। ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਕੀ ਕਰੀਏ? ਉਸ ਨੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸ਼ਾਂਤ ਰਹਿਣ ਵਾਸਤੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਹੱਥ ਚੁੱਕੇ, ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਉਹ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਦੀ ਵਿਆਖਿਆ ਕਰਨੀ ਚਾਹੁੰਦਾ ਸੀ।

ਫ਼ੇਲਿਕੁਸ ਅੱਗੇ ਪੌਲੁਸ ਆਪਣੇ ਆਪ ਨੂੰ ਬਚਾਉਂਦਾ ਫ਼ੇਰ ਹਾਕਮ ਨੇ ਪੌਲੁਸ ਨੂੰ ਬੋਲਣ ਲਈ ਇਸ਼ਾਰਾ ਕੀਤਾ। ਪੌਲੁਸ ਨੇ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਰਾਜਪਾਲ ਫ਼ੇਲਿਕੁਸ, ਮੈਨੂੰ ਪਤਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਤੂੰ ਬਹੁਤ ਸਾਲਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਇਸ ਦੇਸ਼ ਦੇ ਮੁਨਸਫ਼ ਹੈਂ, ਇਸ ਲਈ ਮੈਂ ਤੇਰੇ ਅੱਗੇ ਆਪਣੀ ਸਫ਼ਾਈ ਪੇਸ਼ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਖੁਸ਼ ਹਾਂ।
Acts 26:1
ਪੌਲੁਸ ਰਾਜਾ ਅਗ੍ਰਿਪਾ ਦੇ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਅਗ੍ਰਿਪਾ ਨੇ ਪੌਲੁਸ ਨੂੰ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਤੈਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਹੱਕ ਵਿੱਚ ਬੋਲਣ ਦੀ ਇਜਾਜ਼ਤ ਹੈ।” ਤਾਂ ਪੌਲੁਸ ਆਪਣੇ ਹੱਥ ਨਾਲ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸੁਨਣ ਦਾ ਇਸ਼ਾਰਾ ਕਰਦਿਆਂ ਹੋਇਆਂ ਆਖਣ ਲੱਗਾ।
