Deuteronomy 21:6
ਲਾਸ਼ ਦੇ ਨਜ਼ਦੀਕੀ ਨਗਰਾਂ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਆਗੂਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਉਸ ਗਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਹੱਥ ਧੋਣੇ ਚਾਹੀਦੇ ਹਨ, ਜਿਸਦੀ ਗਰਦਨ ਉਸ ਵਾਦੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਤੋੜੀ ਗਈ ਸੀ।

| the slain | הֶֽחָלָ֑ל | heḥālāl | heh-ha-LAHL |
| wash shall man, | יִרְחֲצוּ֙ | yirḥăṣû | yeer-huh-TSOO |
| אֶת | ʾet | et | |
| their hands | יְדֵיהֶ֔ם | yĕdêhem | yeh-day-HEM |
| over | עַל | ʿal | al |
| heifer the | הָֽעֶגְלָ֖ה | hāʿeglâ | ha-eɡ-LA |
| that is beheaded | הָֽעֲרוּפָ֥ה | hāʿărûpâ | ha-uh-roo-FA |
| in the valley: | בַנָּֽחַל׃ | bannāḥal | va-NA-hahl |
