Deuteronomy 24:7
“ਜੇ ਕੋਈ ਬੰਦਾ ਕਿਸੇ ਦੂਸਰੇ ਇਸਰਾਏਲੀ ਨੂੰ ਅਗਵਾ ਕਰ ਲਵੇ-ਆਪਣੇ ਹੀ ਬੰਦਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਕਿਸੇ ਨੂੰ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਅਗਵਾਕਾਰ ਉਸ ਬੰਦੇ ਨੂੰ ਗੁਲਾਮ ਦੇ ਤੌਰ ਤੇ ਵੇਚ ਦੇਵੇ ਜੇ ਅਜਿਹਾ ਹੋਵੇ, ਤਾਂ ਉਸ ਅਗਵਾਕਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਜ਼ਰੂਰ ਮਾਰ ਦੇਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ। ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਸਮੂਹ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਇਹ ਬਦੀ ਦੂਰ ਕਰ ਦੇਣੀ ਚਾਹੀਦੀ ਹੈ।

| selleth or him, of | בּ֖וֹ | bô | boh |
| him; then that | וּמְכָר֑וֹ | ûmĕkārô | oo-meh-ha-ROH |
| thief | וּמֵת֙ | ûmēt | oo-MATE |
