Deuteronomy 31:12
ਸਮੂਹ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਇਕੱਠਿਆ ਕਰੋ-ਆਦਮੀਆਂ, ਔਰਤਾ, ਛੋਟੇ ਬੱਚਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਸ਼ਹਿਰਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਰਹਿੰਦੇ ਵਿਦੇਸ਼ੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ। ਉਹ ਬਿਵਸਥਾ ਸੁਨਣਗੇ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ, ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ, ਦਾ ਆਦਰ ਕਰਨਾ ਸਿੱਖਣਗੇ। ਫ਼ੇਰ ਉਹ ਬਿਵਸਥਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਦਿੱਤੀਆਂ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਕਰਨ ਦੇ ਯੋਗ ਹੋਣਗੇ।

| gates, thy within is | בִּשְׁעָרֶ֑יךָ | bišʿārêkā | beesh-ah-RAY-ha |
| that | לְמַ֨עַן | lĕmaʿan | leh-MA-an |
| they may hear, | יִשְׁמְע֜וּ | yišmĕʿû | yeesh-meh-OO |
| that and | וּלְמַ֣עַן | ûlĕmaʿan | oo-leh-MA-an |
| they may learn, | יִלְמְד֗וּ | yilmĕdû | yeel-meh-DOO |
| and fear | וְיָֽרְאוּ֙ | wĕyārĕʾû | veh-ya-reh-OO |
