Ecclesiastes 8:14
ਧਰਤੀ ਉੱਤੇ ਇੱਕ ਅਰਬਹੀਣ ਗੱਲ ਵਾਪਰਦੀ ਹੈ: ਇੱਥੇ ਧਰਮੀ ਲੋਕ ਹਨ, ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਇੰਝ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਵਾਪਰਦੀਆਂ ਜਿਵੇਂ ਉਹ ਦੁਸ਼ਟ ਹੋਣ, ਅਤੇ ਇੱਥੇ ਦੁਸ਼ਟ ਲੋਕ ਹਨ, ਜਿਂਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਇੰਝ ਗਲ਼੍ਲ਼ਾਂ ਵਾਪਰਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ ਜਿਵੇਂ ਉਹ ਧਰਮੀ ਸਨ। ਅਤੇ ਮੈਂ ਆਖਦਾਂ ਕਿ ਇਹ ਵੀ ਅਰਬਹੀਣ ਹੈ।

| men, unto whom | אֲשֶׁ֨ר | ʾăšer | uh-SHER |
| מַגִּ֤יעַ | maggîaʿ | ma-ɡEE-ah | |
| happeneth it | אֲלֵהֶם֙ | ʾălēhem | uh-lay-HEM |
| according to the work | כְּמַעֲשֵׂ֣ה | kĕmaʿăśē | keh-ma-uh-SAY |
| wicked; the of | הָרְשָׁעִ֔ים | horšāʿîm | hore-sha-EEM |
| again, there be | וְיֵ֣שׁ | wĕyēš | veh-YAYSH |
| wicked | רְשָׁעִ֔ים | rĕšāʿîm | reh-sha-EEM |
| to men, | שֶׁמַּגִּ֥יעַ | šemmaggîaʿ | sheh-ma-ɡEE-ah |
| whom it happeneth | אֲלֵהֶ֖ם | ʾălēhem | uh-lay-HEM |
| work the to according | כְּמַעֲשֵׂ֣ה | kĕmaʿăśē | keh-ma-uh-SAY |
| of the righteous: | הַצַּדִּיקִ֑ים | haṣṣaddîqîm | ha-tsa-dee-KEEM |
| said I | אָמַ֕רְתִּי | ʾāmartî | ah-MAHR-tee |
| that this also | שֶׁגַּם | šeggam | sheh-ɡAHM |
