Esther 6:1
ਮਾਰਦਕਈ ਦਾ ਸਂਮਾਨ ਉਸ ਸਾਰੀ ਰਾਤ ਪਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਨੂੰ ਨੀਂਦ ਨਾ ਆਈ ਤਾਂ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਇੱਕ ਦਾਸ ਨੂੰ ਇਤਿਹਾਸ ਦੀ ਪੋਥੀ ਲਿਆ ਕੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਸੁਨਾਉਣ ਨੂੰ ਕਿਹਾ। ਇਤਿਹਾਸ ਦੀ ਪੋਥੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਦੇ ਰਾਜ ਦੇ ਸਮੇਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਘਟਨਾਵਾਂ ਅੰਕਿਤ ਸਨ।
