Exodus 15 - YLT (Punjabi)

1 Then singeth Moses and the sons of Israel this song to Jehovah, and they speak, saying: -- `I sing to Jehovah, For triumphing He hath triumphed; The horse and its rider He hath thrown into the sea.ਮੂਸਾ ਦਾ ਗੀਤ ਤਾਂ ਮੂਸਾ ਅਤੇ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਲਈ ਇਹ ਗੀਤ ਗਾਉਣਾ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਕੀਤਾ: ਮੈਂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਵਾਸਤੇ ਗਾਵਾਂਗਾ। ਉਸ ਨੇ ਮਹਾਨ ਕਾਰਨਾਮੇ ਕੀਤੇ ਹਨ। ਉਸ ਨੇ ਘੋੜੇ ਅਤੇ ਸਵਾਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਮੁੰਦਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਸੁੱਟ ਦਿੱਤਾ।

2 My strength and song is JAH, And He is become my salvation: This `is' my God, and I glorify Him; God of my father, and I exalt Him.ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਮੇਰੀ ਤਾਕਤ ਅਤੇ ਮੇਰੀ ਮੁਕਤੀ ਹੈ। ਮੈਂ ਉਸ ਲਈ ਉਸਤਤਿ ਦੇ ਗੀਤ ਗਾਉਂਦਾ ਹਾਂ। ਇਹ ਮੇਰਾ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਹੈ, ਅਤੇ ਮੈਂ ਉਸਦੀ ਉਸਤਤਿ ਕਰਦਾ ਹਾਂ। ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਮੇਰੇ ਪੁਰਖਿਆਂ ਦਾ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਹੈ, ਅਤੇ ਮੈਂ ਉਸਦਾ ਆਦਰ ਕਰਦਾ ਹਾਂ।

3 Jehovah `is' a man of battle; Jehovah `is' His name.ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਇੱਕ ਮਹਾਨ ਯੋਧਾ ਹੈ। ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਉਸਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਹੈ।

4 Chariots of Pharaoh and his force He hath cast into the sea; And the choice of his captains Have sunk in the Red Sea!ਉਸ ਨੇ ਫ਼ਿਰਊਨ ਦੇ ਰੱਥਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਫ਼ੌਜੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਮੁੰਦਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਸੁੱਟ ਦਿੱਤਾ। ਫ਼ਿਰਊਨ ਦੇ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਚੰਗੇ ਫ਼ੌਜੀ ਲਾਲ ਸਾਗਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਡੁੱਬ ਗਏ।

5 The depths do cover them; They went down into the depths as a stone.ਡੂੰਘੇ ਪਾਣੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਕੱਜ ਲਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਪੱਥਰਾਂ ਵਾਂਗ ਹੇਠਾਂ ਡੁੱਬ ਗਏ।

6 Thy right hand, O Jehovah, Is become honourable in power; Thy right hand, O Jehovah, Doth crush an enemy.“ਤੇਰਾ ਸੱਜਾ ਹੱਥ ਕਮਾਲ ਦੀ ਤਾਕਤ ਰੱਖਦਾ ਹੈ। ਯਹੋਵਾਹ, ਤੇਰੇ ਸੱਜੇ ਹੱਥ ਨੇ ਦੁਸ਼ਮਣ ਨੂੰ ਭੰਨ ਦਿੱਤਾ।

7 And in the abundance of Thine excellency Thou throwest down Thy withstanders, Thou sendest forth Thy wrath -- It consumeth them as stubble.ਆਪਣੇ ਮਹਾਨ ਪਰਤਾਪ ਨਾਲ ਤੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਦੁਸ਼ਮਣਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਤਬਾਹ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਤੇਰੇ ਖਿਲਾਫ਼ ਖੜ੍ਹੇ ਹੋਏ ਸਨ। ਤੇਰੇ ਕਰੋਧ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਤਬਾਹ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ, ਜਿਵੇਂ ਅੱਗ ਕੱਖਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਾੜ ਦਿੰਦੀ ਹੈ।

8 And by the spirit of Thine anger Have waters been heaped together; Stood as a heap have flowings; Congealed have been depths In the heart of a sea.ਜਿਹੜਾ ਸਾਹ ਤੂੰ ਆਪਣੀਆਂ ਨਾਸਾਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਛੱਡਿਆ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਪਾਣੀ ਨੂੰ ਉੱਚਾ ਚੁੱਕ ਦਿੱਤਾ। ਵਗਦਾ ਪਾਣੀ ਕੰਧ ਬਣ ਗਿਆ। ਸਮੁੰਦਰ ਆਪਣੀਆਂ ਗਹਿਰਾਈਆਂ ਤਾਈਂ ਠੋਸ ਬਣ ਗਿਆ।

9 The enemy said, I pursue, I overtake; I apportion spoil; Filled is my soul with them; I draw out my sword; My hand destroyeth them: --“ਦੁਸ਼ਮਣ ਨੇ ਆਖਿਆ, ‘ਮੈਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾ ਪਿੱਛਾ ਕਰਾਂਗਾ ਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਫ਼ੜ ਲਵਾਂਗਾ। ਮੈਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਦੌਲਤ ਵੰਡ ਲਵਾਂਗਾ। ਮੈਂ ਇਹ ਸਭ ਕੁਝ ਆਪਣੀ ਤਲਵਾਰ ਨਾਲ ਖੋਹ ਲਵਾਂਗਾ। ਮੇਰੀ ਖੁਦ ਦੀ ਸ਼ਕਤੀ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਤਬਾਹ ਕਰੇਗੀ।’

10 Thou hast blown with Thy wind The sea hath covered them; They sank as lead in mighty waters.ਪਰ ਤੂੰ ਫ਼ੂਕ ਮਾਰੀ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਮੁੰਦਰ ਨਾਲ ਢੱਕ ਦਿੱਤਾ। ਉਹ ਸਿੱਕੇ ਵਾਂਗ ਡੂੰਘੇ ਸਮੁੰਦਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਡੁੱਬ ਗਏ।

11 Who `is' like Thee among the gods, O Jehovah? Who `is' like Thee -- honourable in holiness -- Fearful in praises -- doing wonders?“ਕੀ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਵਰਗੇ ਕੋਈ ਦੇਵਤੇ ਹਨ? ਨਹੀਂ। ਤੇਰੇ ਵਰਗੇ ਕੋਈ ਦੇਵਤੇ ਨਹੀਂ ਤੂੰ ਅਦਭੁਤ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਹੈਂ ਤੂੰ ਅਦਭੁਤ ਤਾਕਤਵਰ ਹੈਂ। ਤੂੰ ਮਹਾਨ ਕਰਿਸ਼ਮੇ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈਂ।

12 Thou hast stretched out Thy right hand -- Earth swalloweth them!ਤੂੰ ਆਪਣਾ ਸੱਜਾ ਹੱਥ ਬਾਹਰ ਕੱਢਿਆ, ਇਸ ਲਈ ਧਰਤੀ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਨਿਗਲ ਗਈ।

13 Thou hast led forth in Thy kindness The people whom Thou hast redeemed. Thou hast led on in Thy strength Unto Thy holy habitation.ਪਰ ਆਪਣੀ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਨਾਲ ਤੂੰ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੀ ਅਗਵਾਈ ਕੀਤੀ ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਤੂੰ ਬਚਾਇਆ। ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੀ ਤਾਕਤ ਨਾਲ ਤੂੰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਅਗਵਾਈ ਆਪਣੀ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਅਤੇ ਪ੍ਰਸੰਨ ਧਰਤੀ ਵੱਲ ਕੀਤੀ।

14 Peoples have heard, they are troubled; Pain hath seized inhabitants of Philistia.“ਦੂਸਰੀਆਂ ਕੌਮਾਂ ਇਸ ਕਹਾਣੀ ਨੂੰ ਸੁਣਨਗੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਡਰ ਜਾਣਗੀਆਂ। ਫ਼ਲਿਸਤੀ ਲੋਕ ਡਰ ਨਾਲ ਕੰਬਣਗੇ।

15 Then have chiefs of Edom been troubled: Mighty ones of Moab -- Trembling doth seize them! Melted have all inhabitants of Canaan!ਅਦੋਮ ਦੇ ਆਗੂ ਕੰਬਣਗੇ। ਮੋਆਬ ਦੇ ਆਗੂ ਡਰ ਨਾਲ ਕੰਬਣਗੇ। ਕਨਾਨ ਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦਾ ਹੌਂਸਲਾ ਟੁੱਟ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ।

16 Fall on them doth terror and dread; By the greatness of Thine arm They are still as a stone, Till Thy people pass over, O Jehovah; Till the people pass over Whom Thou hast purchased.ਉਹ ਲੋਕ ਡਰ ਨਾਲ ਭਰ ਜਾਣਗੇ ਜਦੋਂ ਉਹ ਤੇਰੀ ਤਾਕਤ ਦੇਖਣਗੇ। ਉਹ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ, ਤੇਰੇ ਚੁਣੇ ਹੋਏ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੇ ਲੰਘ ਜਾਣ ਤੀਕ ਚੱਟਾਨ ਵਾਂਗ ਖਾਮੋਸ਼ ਰਹਿਣਗੇ।

17 Thou dost bring them in, And dost plant them In a mountain of Thine inheritance, A fixed place for Thy dwelling Thou hast made, O Jehovah; A sanctuary, O Lord, Thy hands have established;ਯਹੋਵਾਹ, ਤੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੀ ਆਪਣੇ ਪਰਬਤ ਉੱਪਰ ਅਗਵਾਈ ਕਰੇਂਗਾ। ਤੂੰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਉਸ ਥਾਂ ਤੇ ਰਹਿਣ ਦੇਵੇਂਗਾ। ਜਿਹੜੀ ਤੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਤਖਤ ਲਈ ਬਣਾਈ ਹੈ। ਸੁਆਮੀ, ਤੂੰ ਆਪਣਾ ਮੰਦਰ ਬਣਾਵੇਂਗਾ।

18 Jehovah reigneth -- to the age, and for ever!'“ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਸਦਾ-ਸਦਾ ਲਈ ਰਾਜ ਕਰੇਗਾ।”

19 For the horse of Pharaoh hath gone in with his chariots and with his horsemen into the sea, and Jehovah turneth back on them the waters of the sea, and the sons of Israel have gone on dry land in the midst of the sea.ਹਾਂ, ਇਹ ਸੱਚਮੁੱਚ ਵਾਪਰਿਆ ਸੀ। ਫ਼ਿਰਊਨ ਦੇ ਘੋੜੇ ਅਤੇ ਸਵਾਰ ਅਤੇ ਰੱਥ ਸਮੁੰਦਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਚੱਲੇ ਗਏ। ਅਤੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਸਮੁੰਦਰ ਦਾ ਸਾਰਾ ਪਾਣੀ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਉੱਪਰ ਲੈ ਆਂਦਾ। ਪਰ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਲੋਕ ਸਮੁੰਦਰ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਸੁੱਕੀ ਧਰਤੀ ਤੋਂ ਲੰਘ ਗਏ।

20 And Miriam the inspired one, sister of Aaron, taketh the timbrel in her hand, and all the women go out after her, with timbrels and with choruses;ਤਾਂ ਹਾਰੂਨ ਦੀ ਭੈਣ, ਔਰਤ ਨਬੀਆ ਮਿਰਯਮ, ਨੇ ਤੰਬੂਰੀ ਚੁੱਕ ਲਈ। ਮਿਰਯਮ ਅਤੇ ਹੋਰ ਔਰਤਾਂ ਗਾਉਣ ਤੇ ਨੱਚਣ ਲੱਗੀਆਂ।

21 and Miriam answereth to them: -- `Sing ye to Jehovah, For Triumphing He hath triumphed; The horse and its rider He hath thrown into the sea!'ਮਿਰਯਮ ਨੇ ਇਹ ਸ਼ਬਦ ਦੁਹਰਾਏ, “ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਲਈ ਗਾਓ। ਉਸ ਨੇ ਮਹਾਨ ਕਾਰਨਾਮੇ ਕੀਤੇ ਹਨ। ਉਸ ਨੇ ਘੋੜੇ ਅਤੇ ਸਵਾਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਮੁੰਦਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਸੁੱਟ ਦਿੱਤਾ।”

22 And Moses causeth Israel to journey from the Red Sea, and they go out unto the wilderness of Shur, and they go three days in the wilderness, and have not found water,ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦਾ ਮਾਰੂਥਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਜਾਣਾ ਮੂਸਾ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਲਾਲ ਸਾਗਰਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਪਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਸੂਰ ਦੇ ਮਾਰੂਥਲ ਅੰਦਰ ਲੈ ਗਿਆ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਮਾਰੂਥਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਤਿੰਨ ਦਿਨ ਤੱਕ ਸਫ਼ਰ ਕੀਤਾ। ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਕੋਈ ਪਾਣੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਮਿਲਿਆ।

23 and they come in to Marah, and have not been able to drink the waters of Marah, for they `are' bitter; therefore hath `one' called its name Marah.ਤਿੰਨ ਦਿਨਾਂ ਮਗਰੋਆਂ ਲੋਕ ਮਾਰਾਹ ਆ ਗਏ। ਮਾਰਾਹ ਵਿੱਚ ਪਾਣੀ ਸੀ ਪਰ ਇਹ ਪੀਣ ਵਿੱਚ ਕੌੜਾ ਸੀ। (ਇਸੇ ਲਈ ਉਸ ਥਾਂ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਮਾਰਾਹ ਸੀ।)

24 And the people murmur against Moses, saying, `What do we drink?'ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੇ ਮੂਸਾ ਅੱਗੇ ਸ਼ਿਕਾਇਤਾਂ ਕਰਨੀਆਂ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤੀਆਂ। ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੇ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਹੁਣ ਅਸੀਂ ਕੀ ਪੀਵਾਂਗੇ?”

25 and he crieth unto Jehovah, and Jehovah sheweth him a tree, and he casteth unto the waters, and the waters become sweet. There He hath made for them a statute, and an ordinance, and there He hath tried them,ਮੂਸਾ ਨੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੂੰ ਆਵਾਜ਼ ਦਿੱਤੀ। ਇਸ ਲਈ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਇੱਕ ਦਰੱਖਤ ਦਿਖਾਇਆ। ਮੂਸਾ ਨੇ ਦਰੱਖਤ ਨੂੰ ਪਾਣੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਸੁੱਟ ਦਿੱਤਾ। ਜਦੋਂ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਅਜਿਹਾ ਕੀਤਾ, ਪਾਣੀ ਪੀਣ ਦੇ ਯੋਗ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ। ਉਸ ਥਾਂ ਤੇ, ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦਾ ਨਿਆਂ ਕੀਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਇੱਕ ਕਾਨੂਨ ਦਿੱਤਾ। ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦਾ ਵਿਸ਼ਵਾਸ ਵੀ ਪਰੱਖਿਆ।

26 and He saith, `If thou dost really hearken to the voice of Jehovah thy God, and dost that which is right in His eyes, and hast hearkened to His commands, and kept all His statutes: none of the sickness which I laid on the Egyptians do I lay on thee, for I, Jehovah, am healing thee.ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦਾ ਹੁਕਮ ਜ਼ਰੂਰ ਮੰਨਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ। ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਉਹੀ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਕਰਨੀਆਂ ਚਾਹੀਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਉਹ ਸਹੀ ਕਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ, ਜੇ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਹੁਕਮ ਤੇ ਕਾਨੂਨ ਮੰਨੋਗੇ ਤਾਂ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਮਿਸਰੀਆਂ ਦੀ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਬਿਮਾਰ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੋਵੋਂਗੇ। ਮੈਂ, ਯਹੋਵਾਹ, ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਅਜਿਹੀ ਕੋਈ ਬਿਮਾਰੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਦਿਆਂਗਾ ਜਿਹੜੀ ਮੈਂ ਮਿਸਰੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਸੀ। ਮੈਂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਹਾਂ। ਮੈਂ ਹੀ ਹਾਂ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਰਾਜ਼ੀ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ।”

27 And they come to Elim, and there `are' twelve fountains of water, and seventy palm trees; and they encamp there by the waters.ਫ਼ੇਰ ਲੋਕ ਸਫ਼ਰ ਕਰਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਏਲਿਮ ਪਹੁੰਚੇ। ਏਲਿਮ ਵਿਖੇ ਪਾਣੀ ਦੇ 12 ਚਸ਼ਮੇ ਅਤੇ ਖਜੂਰਾਂ ਦੇ 70 ਰੁੱਖ ਸਨ। ਇਸ ਲਈ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੇ ਪਾਣੀ ਦੇ ਨੇੜੇ ਡੇਰਾ ਲਾ ਲਿਆ।
