Exodus 3:17
ਅਤੇ ਮੈਂ ਨਿਆਂ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਮੁਸੀਬਤਾਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਕੱਢ ਲਵਾਂ ਜਿਹੜੀਆਂ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਮਿਸਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਹਾਰ ਰਹੇ ਹੋ। ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਉਸ ਧਰਤੀ ਤੇ ਲੈ ਜਾਵਾਂਗਾ ਜਿਹੜੀ ਹੁਣ ਬਹੁਤ ਸਾਰੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ; ਕਨਾਨੀਆਂ, ਹਿੱਤੀਆਂ, ਅਮੋਰੀਆਂ, ਫ਼ਰਿੱਜ਼ੀਆਂ, ਹਿੱਵੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਯਬੂਸੀਆਂ ਦੀ ਹੈ। ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਬਹੁਤ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਚੰਗੀਆਂ ਚੀਜ਼ਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਭਰੀ ਹੋਈ ਧਰਤੀ ਤੇ ਲੈ ਜਾਵਾਂਗਾ।’

| and the Amorites, | וְהַ֣חִתִּ֔י | wĕhaḥittî | veh-HA-hee-TEE |
| Perizzites, the and | וְהָֽאֱמֹרִי֙ | wĕhāʾĕmōriy | veh-ha-ay-moh-REE |
| and the Hivites, | וְהַפְּרִזִּ֔י | wĕhappĕrizzî | veh-ha-peh-ree-ZEE |
| Jebusites, the and | וְהַֽחִוִּ֖י | wĕhaḥiwwî | veh-ha-hee-WEE |
| unto | וְהַיְבוּסִ֑י | wĕhaybûsî | veh-hai-voo-SEE |
| a land | אֶל | ʾel | el |
| flowing | אֶ֛רֶץ | ʾereṣ | EH-rets |
| with milk | זָבַ֥ת | zābat | za-VAHT |
