Ezekiel 26:12
ਨਬੂਕਦਨੱਸਰ ਦੇ ਆਦਮੀ ਤੁਹਾਡੀਆਂ ਦੌਲਤਾਂ ਲੁੱਟ ਕੇ ਲੈ ਜਾਣਗੇ। ਜਿਹੜੀਆਂ ਚੀਜ਼ਾਂ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਵੇਚਣੀਆਂ ਚਾਹੁੰਦੇ ਸੀ, ਉਹ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਲੁੱਟ ਕੇ ਲੈ ਜਾਣਗੇ। ਉਹ ਤੁਹਾਡੀਆਂ ਕੰਧਾਂ ਢਾਹ ਦੇਣਗੇ ਅਤੇ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਸੁੰਦਰ ਘਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਤਬਾਹ ਕਰ ਦੇਣਗੇ। ਉਹ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਲੱਕੜੀ ਅਤੇ ਪੱਥਰ ਦੇ ਘਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਕੂੜੇ ਵਾਂਗ ਸਮੁੰਦਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਸੁੱਟ ਦੇਣਗੇ।

| down break shall they and | וְהָֽרְסוּ֙ | wĕhārĕsû | veh-ha-reh-SOO |
| thy walls, | חוֹמוֹתַ֔יִךְ | ḥômôtayik | hoh-moh-TA-yeek |
| destroy and | וּבָתֵּ֥י | ûbottê | oo-voh-TAY |
| thy pleasant | חֶמְדָּתֵ֖ךְ | ḥemdātēk | hem-da-TAKE |
| houses: | יִתֹּ֑צוּ | yittōṣû | yee-TOH-tsoo |
| lay shall they and | וַאֲבָנַ֤יִךְ | waʾăbānayik | va-uh-va-NA-yeek |
| thy stones | וְעֵצַ֙יִךְ֙ | wĕʿēṣayik | veh-ay-TSA-yeek |
| timber thy and | וַֽעֲפָרֵ֔ךְ | waʿăpārēk | va-uh-fa-RAKE |
| and thy dust | בְּת֥וֹךְ | bĕtôk | beh-TOKE |
| midst the in | מַ֖יִם | mayim | MA-yeem |
| of the water. | יָשִֽׂימוּ׃ | yāśîmû | ya-SEE-moo |
