“ਆਦਮੀ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ, ਸੂਰ ਦੇ ਹਾਕਮ ਨੂੰ ਆਖ, ‘ਮੇਰਾ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਇਹ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਆਖਦਾ ਹੈ: “‘ਬਹੁਤ ਗੁਮਾਨੀ ਹੈਂ ਤੂੰ! ਅਤੇ ਤੂੰ ਆਖਦਾ ਹੈਂ, “ਮੈਂ ਹਾਂ ਇੱਕ ਦੇਵਤਾ! ਬੈਠਾ ਹਾਂ ਮੈਂ ਦੇਵਤਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਆਸਨ ਉੱਤੇ ਸਮੁੰਦਰਾਂ ਦੇ ਵਿੱਚਕਾਰ।” “‘ਪਰ ਆਦਮੀ ਹੈ ਤੂੰ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨਹੀਂ! ਤੂੰ ਸਿਰਫ਼ ਸੋਚਦਾ ਹੈਂ ਕਿ ਤੂੰ ਦੇਵਤਾ ਹੈਂ।”

of man, אָדָ֡ם ʾādām ah-DAHM
say אֱמֹר֩ ʾāmar ah-MAHR
unto the prince לִנְגִ֨יד nāgîd na-ɡEED
of Tyrus, צֹ֜ר ṣōr tsore
Thus כֹּֽה kō koh
saith אָמַ֣ר׀ ʾāmar ah-MAHR
the Lord אֲדֹנָ֣י ʾădōnāy uh-doh-NAI
God; יְהוִֹ֗ה yĕhōwi yeh-hoh-VEE
Because יַ֣עַן yaʿan ya-AN
lifted up, גָּבַ֤הּ gābah ɡa-VA
thine heart לִבְּךָ֙ lēb lave
and thou hast said, וַתֹּ֙אמֶר֙ ʾāmar ah-MAHR
a God, אֵ֣ל ʾēl ale
I אָ֔נִי ʾănî uh-NEE
the seat מוֹשַׁ֧ב môšāb moh-SHAHV
of God, אֱלֹהִ֛ים ʾĕlōhîm ay-loh-HEEM
I sit יָשַׁ֖בְתִּי yāšab ya-SHAHV
in the midst בְּלֵ֣ב lēb lave
of the seas; יַמִּ֑ים yām yahm
yet thou וְאַתָּ֤ה ʾattâ ah-TA
a man, אָדָם֙ ʾādām ah-DAHM
and not וְֽלֹא lōʾ loh
God, אֵ֔ל ʾēl ale
though thou set וַתִּתֵּ֥ן nātan na-TAHN
thine heart לִבְּךָ֖ lēb lave
as the heart כְּלֵ֥ב lēb lave
of God: אֱלֹהִֽים׃ ʾĕlōhîm ay-loh-HEEM
