Genesis 18:22
ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਆਦਮੀ ਮੁੜ ਪਏ ਅਤੇ ਸਦੂਮ ਵੱਲ ਤੁਰ ਪਏ। ਪਰ ਅਬਰਾਹਾਮ ਓੱਥੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੇ ਸਨਮੁੱਖ ਖਲੋਤਾ ਸੀ।

| went and | וַיֵּֽלְכ֖וּ | wayyēlĕkû | va-yay-leh-HOO |
| toward Sodom: | סְדֹ֑מָה | sĕdōmâ | seh-DOH-ma |
| but Abraham | וְאַ֨בְרָהָ֔ם | wĕʾabrāhām | veh-AV-ra-HAHM |
| stood | עוֹדֶ֥נּוּ | ʿôdennû | oh-DEH-noo |
| yet | עֹמֵ֖ד | ʿōmēd | oh-MADE |
| before | לִפְנֵ֥י | lipnê | leef-NAY |
| the Lord. | יְהוָֽה׃ | yĕhwâ | yeh-VA |
