Genesis 19:16
ਪਰ ਲੂਤ ਝਿਝਕਿਆ, ਇਸ ਲਈ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਆਦਮੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਲੂਤ ਦੀ ਪਤਨੀ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਦੀਆਂ ਦੋਹਾਂ ਧੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਹੱਥ ਫ਼ੜ ਲਏ। ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਲੂਤ ਉੱਤੇ ਮਿਹਰਬਾਨ ਸੀ, ਉਹ ਲੂਤ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਸੁਰੱਖਿਆ ਨਾਲ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਹਰ ਲੈ ਗਏ।

| hand, his upon | בְּיָד֣וֹ | bĕyādô | beh-ya-DOH |
| and upon the hand | וּבְיַד | ûbĕyad | oo-veh-YAHD |
| wife, his of | אִשְׁתּ֗וֹ | ʾištô | eesh-TOH |
| hand the upon and | וּבְיַד֙ | ûbĕyad | oo-veh-YAHD |
| of his two | שְׁתֵּ֣י | šĕttê | sheh-TAY |
| daughters; | בְנֹתָ֔יו | bĕnōtāyw | veh-noh-TAV |
| Lord the | בְּחֶמְלַ֥ת | bĕḥemlat | beh-hem-LAHT |
| being merciful | יְהוָ֖ה | yĕhwâ | yeh-VA |
| unto | עָלָ֑יו | ʿālāyw | ah-LAV |
| forth, him brought they and him: | וַיֹּֽצִאֻ֥הוּ | wayyōṣiʾuhû | va-yoh-tsee-OO-hoo |
| and set him | וַיַּנִּחֻ֖הוּ | wayyanniḥuhû | va-ya-nee-HOO-hoo |
| without | מִח֥וּץ | miḥûṣ | mee-HOOTS |
