Genesis 26:24
ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਰਾਤ ਇਸਹਾਕ ਨਾਲ ਗੱਲ ਕੀਤੀ। ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਮੈਂ ਤੇਰੇ ਪਿਤਾ ਅਬਰਾਹਾਮ ਦਾ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਹਾਂ। ਭੈਭੀਤ ਨਾ ਹੋ। ਮੈਂ ਤੇਰੇ ਨਾਲ ਹਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਮੈਂ ਤੇਰੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਬਖਸ਼ਿਸ਼ ਕਰਾਂਗਾ। ਮੈਂ ਤੇਰੇ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਮਹਾਨ ਬਣਾ ਦਿਆਂਗਾ। ਮੈਂ ਅਜਿਹਾ ਆਪਣੇ ਨੌਕਰ ਅਬਰਾਹਾਮ ਸਦਕਾ ਕਰਾਂਗਾ।”

| Abraham of | אַבְרָהָ֣ם | ʾabrāhām | av-ra-HAHM |
| thy father: | אָבִ֑יךָ | ʾābîkā | ah-VEE-ha |
| fear | אַל | ʾal | al |
| not, | תִּירָא֙ | tîrāʾ | tee-RA |
| for | כִּֽי | kî | kee |
| I | אִתְּךָ֣ | ʾittĕkā | ee-teh-HA |
| am with | אָנֹ֔כִי | ʾānōkî | ah-NOH-hee |
| thee, and will bless | וּבֵֽרַכְתִּ֙יךָ֙ | ûbēraktîkā | oo-vay-rahk-TEE-HA |
| multiply and thee, | וְהִרְבֵּיתִ֣י | wĕhirbêtî | veh-heer-bay-TEE |
