Genesis 35:5
ਯਾਕੂਬ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਉਸ ਥਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਚੱਲੇ ਗਏ। ਉਸ ਇਲਾਕੇ ਦੇ ਲੋਕ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾ ਪਿੱਛਾ ਕਰਨ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਮਾਰ ਦੇਣ ਚਾਹੁੰਦੇ ਸਨ। ਪਰ ਉਹ ਬਹੁਤ ਡਰ ਗਏ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਯਾਕੂਬ ਦਾ ਪਿੱਛਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਕੀਤਾ।

| that | אֲשֶׁר֙ | ʾăšer | uh-SHER |
| about round were | סְבִיב֣וֹתֵיהֶ֔ם | sĕbîbôtêhem | seh-vee-VOH-tay-HEM |
| them, and they did not | וְלֹ֣א | wĕlōʾ | veh-LOH |
| pursue | רָֽדְפ֔וּ | rādĕpû | ra-deh-FOO |
| after | אַֽחֲרֵ֖י | ʾaḥărê | ah-huh-RAY |
| the sons | בְּנֵ֥י | bĕnê | beh-NAY |
| of Jacob. | יַֽעֲקֹֽב׃ | yaʿăqōb | YA-uh-KOVE |
