Genesis 7:7
ਨੂਹ ਅਤੇ ਉਸਦਾ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਹੜ੍ਹ ਤੋਂ ਬਚਣ ਲਈ ਕਿਸ਼ਤੀ ਅੰਦਰ ਚੱਲਿਆ ਗਿਆ। ਨੂਹ ਦੀ ਪਤਨੀ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਅਤੇ ਨੂਹਾਂ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਕਿਸ਼ਤੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਨ।

ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਸਜ਼ਾ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਪ੍ਰਾਚੀਨ ਕਾਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਜਿਉਂਦੇ ਸਨ। ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨੇ ਹੜ੍ਹ ਲਿਆ ਕੇ ਦੁਨੀਆਂ ਤੇ ਤਬਾਹੀ ਲਿਆਂਦੀ ਜੋ ਕਿ ਪਾਪੀਆਂ ਨਾਲ ਭਰਪੂਰ ਸੀ। ਪਰ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨੇ ਨੂਹ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਹੋਰ ਸੱਤਾਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਬਚਾਇਆ। ਨੂਹ ਹੀ ਸੀ ਜਿਸਨੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਧਰਮੀ ਜੀਵਨ ਬਾਰੇ ਦੱਸਿਆ।

ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਿਨਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੜ੍ਹ ਤੋਂ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ, ਲੋਕ ਖਾ ਰਹੇ ਸਨ, ਪੀ ਰਹੇ ਸਨ, ਵਿਆਹ ਕਰਵਾ ਰਹੇ ਸਨ ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਬੱਚਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਵਿਆਹ ਵੀ ਕਰ ਰਹੇ ਸਨ ਅਤੇ ਲੋਕ ਇਹ ਸਭ ਕੁਝ ਕਰਦੇ ਰਹੇ ਜਦ ਤੱਕ ਕਿ ਨੂਹ ਕਿਸ਼ਤੀ ਉੱਤੇ ਨਹੀਂ ਚੜ੍ਹ੍ਹਿਆ ਸੀ।
Genesis 7:1
ਹੜ੍ਹ ਦਾ ਆਰੰਭ ਹੋਣਾ ਫ਼ੇਰ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਨੂਹ ਨੂੰ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਮੈਂ ਦੇਖਿਆ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਤੂੰ ਚੰਗਾ ਆਦਮੀ ਹੈਂ, ਇਸ ਸਮੇਂ ਦੇ ਮੰਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੋਇਆ ਵੀ। ਇਸ ਲਈ ਆਪਣੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਇਕੱਠਿਆਂ ਕਰਕੇ ਕਿਸ਼ਤੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਲੈ ਜਾ।
Genesis 6:18
ਮੈਂ ਤੇਰੇ ਨਾਲ ਇੱਕ ਖਾਸ ਇਕਰਾਰਨਾਮਾ ਕਰਾਂਗਾ। ਅਤੇ ਤੂੰ, ਤੇਰੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ, ਤੇਰੀ ਪਤਨੀ, ਅਤੇ ਤੇਰੀਆਂ ਨੂਹਾਂ ਸਾਰੇ ਹੀ ਕਿਸ਼ਤੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਚੱਲੇ ਜਾਵੋਂਗੇ।

ਇਹ ਆਤਮੇ ਉਹੀ ਹਨ ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਨੂਹ ਦੇ ਵੇਲੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦਾ ਹੁਕਮ ਮੰਨਣ ਤੋਂ ਇਨਕਾਰ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਸੀ। ਜਦੋਂ ਨੂਹ ਕਿਸ਼ਤੀ ਬਣਾ ਰਿਹਾ ਸੀ। ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾ ਸਬਰ ਨਾਲ ਇੰਤਜ਼ਾਰ ਕਰ ਰਿਹਾ ਸੀ। ਸਿਰਫ਼ ਥੋੜੇ ਜਿਹੇ ਲੋਕ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਗਿਣਤੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਕੁਲ ਅੱਠ ਸਨ ਪਾਣੀ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਕਿਸ਼ਤੀ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਬਚਾਏ ਜਾ ਸੱਕੇ।
Hebrews 11:7
ਨੂਹ ਨੂੰ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਚੀਜ਼ਾਂ ਬਾਰੇ ਚਿਤਾਵਨੀ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਗਈ ਸੀ ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਉਹ ਹਾਲੇ ਨਹੀਂ ਦੇਖ ਸੱਕਿਆ ਸੀ। ਪਰ ਨੂਹ ਦੇ ਦਿਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਲਈ ਨਿਹਚਾ ਅਤੇ ਆਦਰ ਸੀ। ਇਸ ਲਈ ਨੂਹ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਬਚਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਇੱਕ ਵੱਡੀ ਕਿਸ਼ਤੀ ਬਣਾਈ। ਆਪਣੀ ਨਿਹਚਾ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਨੂਹ ਨੇ ਦਰਸਾਇਆ ਕਿ ਦੁਨੀਆਂ ਗਲਤ ਸੀ। ਅਤੇ ਨੂਹ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਸ਼ਾਮਿਲ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਨਿਹਚਾ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨਾਲ ਧਰਮੀ ਬਣਾਇਆ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ।
Hebrews 6:18
ਇਹ ਦੋ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਕਦੇ ਵੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਬਦਲਣਗੀਆਂ। ਜਦੋਂ ਵੀ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਕੁਝ ਆਖਦਾ ਹੈ, ਉਹ ਝੂਠ ਨਹੀਂ ਬੋਲਦਾ ਅਤੇ ਜਦੋਂ ਉਹ ਕੌਲ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ, ਉਹ ਕਦੀ ਵੀ ਝੂਠ ਨਹੀਂ ਬੋਲੇਗਾ। ਇਸ ਲਈ ਅਸੀਂ ਸੁਰੱਖਿਆ ਲਈ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਕੋਲ ਭੱਜ ਪਏ ਹਾਂ, ਇਸ ਗੱਲ ਨੇ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਬਹੁਤ ਦਿਲਾਸਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ। ਇਹ ਦੋਵੇ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਦਿਲਾਸਾ ਅਤੇ ਤਾਕਤ ਦਿੰਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ, ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਅਸੀਂ ਉਸ ਉਮੀਦ ਨੂੰ ਜਾਰੀ ਰੱਖੀਏ ਜਿਹੜੀ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਗਈ ਸੀ
Proverbs 22:3
ਦੁਸ਼ਤ ਵਿਅਕਤੀ ਖਤਰੇ ਨੂੰ ਵੇਖਕੇ ਇਸਤੋਂ ਬਚ ਨਿਕਲ ਦਾ ਹੈ ਇੱਕ ਆਮ ਵਿਅਕਤੀ ਚੱਲਦਾ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਸੱਟ ਖਾ ਲੈਂਦਾ ਹੈ।

ਓਸੇ ਦਿਨ ਨੂਹ ਅਤੇ ਉਸਦੀ ਪਤਨੀ, ਉਸ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ-ਸ਼ੇਮ, ਹਾਮ ਅਤੇ ਯਾਫ਼ਥ-ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਪਤਨੀਆਂ ਕਿਸ਼ਤੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਚਲੀਆਂ ਗਈਆਂ।
