ਅਫ਼ਰਾਈਮ ਦਾ ਹਂਕਾਰ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਹੀ ਵਿਰੁੱਧ ਬੋਲਦਾ ਹੈ। ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਇੰਨੀਆਂ ਦੁੱਖ ਅਤੇ ਤਕਲੀਫ਼ਾਂ ਹਨ ਪਰ ਫ਼ਿਰ ਵੀ ਉਹ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਆਪਣੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਵੱਲ ਪਰਤ ਕੇ ਮਦਦ ਲਈ ਨਹੀਂ ਪੁਕਾਰਦੇ।

and they do not וְלֹֽא lōʾ loh
return שָׁ֙בוּ֙ šûb shoov
to אֶל ʾēl ale
the Lord יְהוָ֣ה yĕhōwâ yeh-hoh-VA
their God, אֱלֹֽהֵיהֶ֔ם ʾĕlōhîm ay-loh-HEEM
nor וְלֹ֥א lōʾ loh
seek בִקְשֻׁ֖הוּ bāqaš ba-KAHSH
him for all this. בְּכָל kōl kole
זֹֽאת׃ zōt zote
